okay well I guess that could stop the bleeding but what about exposure? Sakura wasn't shown cleaning her hands...

We were shown her forming a chakra blade. Could also have disinfectant properties.

Well that CPR might be just CPR, but as soon as Naruto wakes up and if he learn about what Sakura did for him. We might got that resolution either there or else it'll be either before Naruto vs Sasuke 2 or at the end of series. I mean either you tell her before going in the battlefield or after all the chip are down. That CPR ain't screaming Narusaku canon, that's sure, but it show you how far she's willing to go to keep him alive and that she'd really become an heroine there.  Indirectly, the flashback while she literally holding her heart in hand (I might strech things out a bit) might be a step in the direction toward Sakura's feeling resolution though symbolically.

Hopefully Naruto won't be disheartened to find out Sakura's lips were on his and he didn't get to enjoy it.  

 

I still can't get over what Sakura-chan did.  Open chest heart massage.  It's such a last ditch, scary-ass thing to do.  And she was so cool about it, keeping herself going by remembering his dream.  Great stuff.

 

The thing I like about the heart massage (besides the badassery) is that it's so... personal.  Between literally holding Naruto's heart in her hands, and her lips on his lips, it's an amazingly personal moment -- whether it's romantic or not.  It's an incredible bond.

 

Yeah.  I need to read the chapter again.

 

Well at least now Naruto can say he technically kiss girl now. If you don't count CPR kissing, then he could still at least say he shared lips with both of his teammates of Team 7.

Amazing Chapter, of course it will be for NS lovers since it turned out to be NS chapter, although it can be just kishi trolling, but still this have made my hpes for NS go up again. Guys just a thought crossed my mind that what if sakura is going to perform similar kind of jutsu to save Naruto just like chiyo did for gaara. I don't want it to end that way but it is possible considering kishi has also said their will be two major deaths (neji has already died, one more to go). Anyway loved the chapter due to CPR(kiss )

 

Also guys can anyone exxplain to me what happened in the last page, did sakura saw sasuke lying their or it was just the shift of scene from Naruto to Sasuke.??

ok but I think its safe to say that this chapter confirmed that Naruto and Sakura will have an actual kiss.

as if Kurama teasing Naruto for only having kissed Sasuke wasnt enough

That's what I'm hoping for. I can't wait to see Naruto's face when he learns the lengths that Sakura went to keep him alive.

Makes me think of the bridge scene and how she so desires to be of help to Naruto in anyway possible. She's doing everything in her power to keep him going and holding her composure. I'm proud of her. Proud to be her fan. She's showing us, the haters, everyone, that she's gonna be there when he needs her most. There's really no one else fit for him. She compliments him and completes him IMO.

Looks like were gonna have another NaruSakuMina moment too. BD

Gaara said it's just in front of them, so I think they just arrived to Minato's localisation and that's what Sakura has seen. 

And just after that, someone arrived in front of Sasuke (I suppose it's Kabuto).

Okay so I wasn't expecting this at all. I dunno if Sakura has ever done CPR before, but I guess we could count it as her first almost kiss. I wanna see Naruto's face when he finds out what Sakura did.

Also, hell yeah!! Way to go Team Taka!! This was such an asspull but I loved it.

I also understand your optimism, though I more cautious. Only to avoid being possibly disappointed later.

 

I never said he cared about the pairing war. But the romance of the story is an important unresolved subplot that is brought up again and again in the series, and I doubt Kishimoto will just make a pairing canon at this point of the story.

 

I'm the advocate for Not Being Optimistic. I'm the person who appears in every chapter thread to tell people not to have their hopes up too high. But I am also realistic; if I think something is significant from a literary perspective, I will point it out.

 

I am optimistic about the possibility of this event being mentioned in the future. Especially with Gaara watching.

I, for one, laid my heart down on the line knowing this chapter would have a moment of two of sorts (can't stop this heart thing now XD)

 

Here we're taking about Sakura going the distance, yet Karin has somehow become a force herself. I mean I'm not by any means a SasuKari fan, but that's some intense stuff there.

Yeah, it reminds me of when 631 came out.

 

But we have to be objective, what's cool about this chapter is not Sakura giving Naruto CPR, it's that she's going to a lot of lengths to keep him alive. All while reminding him of his "stupid dream" to be Hokage.

 

It's less about romance and more about how Sakura can be a proper heroine when Kishi gives her the chance, and how her dedication to Naruto shows that she's indeed a good partner for him.

I'm sure hes gonna have something to say about her keeping him alive long enough to get the other kyuubi half. I wanna see how Naruto responds when he awakens. To know that Gaara and Sakura did what they did, particularly Sakura. I can see a teary smile from her sort of like the ova.

I was expecting a breakdown of sorts to be honest but she handled herself. She's constantly showing how great of a heroine she is.
