Guess I should ask, was it a chapter like this that practically downgraded 615 even more? I mean Naruto was able to save Shikamaru (with Sakura's help).

 

I mean the whole power transmission to the alliance wasn't up yet but IMHO, it seems like just after Neji's sacriifice out of his own will to save Naruto and Hinata, now with Hinata on repeat over Naruto like a parrot (Awk Naruto-Kun Awk ) I'm sadly thinking that Neji's death isn't as dramatic or noteworthy like Jiraya's or Minatos+Kushina's anymore. It really just seems like with pain, the 615 moment is going to fade away with the only thing to stay there is "yeah Neji died in this chapter, no real lasting impacts" the only thing I can see 615 actually doing is well yeah right now how Naruto willed to not lose Shikamaru either but that's just relating to friendship, not NH romance as fans first took it, Naruto's lost of Neji is sure built up to this moment with Shikamaru but nothing with Hinata, see a problem here? Its like that NH aspect is just been drowned out now.

 

As for some others questioning how tsunade cured Shikamaru so quick, well few quick reasons:

1. Sakura was healing him but her energy was also not at max at the moment, not to mention she still techicially just released the seal, she isn't going to master it all at once, rather she did just go through a series of bashing jubbi clones, remote healing a good portion of the allaince, and she possibly swiped by the tree herself so if anything maybe if it nicked her, it took a small portion of her energy too but not enough to devistate her like it did Shikamaru.

 

2. Sakura was healing him physically, Naruto was saving him for the chakra portion cause you know the deal, no chakra you die.

 

3. Tsunade has recovered and is also experienced, remember that deal with Itachi transferring his occular powers to Sasuke's sharigans? Same deal here, Tsunade had both energy ready and is one of the 2 best medical ninja right now, what could still take Sakura a bit to do, Tsunade is still able to use it effectively. Besides its not like she wasn't impressed with Sakura, the reunion made a good sense of acknowledgement and accomplishment for both of them even if short lived.

Ugh, no. Why are people talking about Hinata when there were so many other amazing things that happened in this chapter?
 
I'll say this - wanting to be by Naruto's side isn't something that is unique to her character. All of the Rookie Nine feel that way, and it was those feelings that helped Shikamaru pull through this chapter. So, unless we're willing to acknowledge NaruShika, NaruShino, NaruIno, etc... then Hinata's comments about wanting to be at his side don't give NaruHina any sort of advantage.

I didn't find her to be annoying this chapter given she wants what her rookie partners want. She feels she's alresdy BY his side and sje wants to stay there. It was nice though I wonder why she made that expression....

Her feelings on the matter of wanting to walk by his side don't set her apart from anyone else really at this point. Seems as though Kishi is setting up for the future though. I can see a timeskip showing off where everyone is. :)

I didn't like this chapter. It seems like it's more of the same stuff we're getting every single week which is just a minuscule amount of progression along with page after page of feelings. I get it, these characters have feelings. I know these characters, I've read 600 chapters about them. I think I can understand them without you having to constantly remind me who they are. All these people are just sitting around talking but meanwhile Obito Madara and the Juubi are doing nothing. This whole Juubi fight is utter nonsense, Kishi is doing a terrible job of making the Juubi feel like a threat and at this point I'm not afraid of Obito at all, and I'm only slightly afraid of Madara since he has yet to use his mysterious trump card.

Maybe at the first I misinterpreted Hinata's thoughts... On the same page where we see Kiba's wanting also to be Naruto's advisor and Shino replied that at the end there will be at least 3 advisors (him, Kiba and Akamaru). Hinata's thoughts could be part ot the same pattern, being at Naruto's side when he will be Hokage, so everyone of his friends can be his advsisors.

I have nothing against the chapter but this fight with juubi i strongly agree with you, this is the worst fight of the series so far, it's boring and full of interruptions to talk about feelings and other stuff.
Kishi surely makes me anxious but i'm anxious to see Sasuke's move which is after this nonsense that we call battle.

Honestly, the more chapter goes by, the more 615 really lost its value when it comes to love. It really has.

Alot better than last week is one thing I'm gonna say, but that ever lasting smile from Sakura was adorable. It comes to show that Naruto and only Naruto can give her that smile. The worried face she had earlier almost reminded me of the look she made back in 628, but ultimately I see a NaruSaku moment coming up soon. Kakashi good to know you're doing well, and hopefully you make it back to the battlefield in the next chapter.

What 'mysterious' trump card? We already know that his trump card is switching obito with himself within 15 minutes, using Hashirama's sennin powers.

What a nice chapter. It was a little set up with some flashbacks but I really enjoy it. Well, when you got Panel time for Ten Ten something nice must have happened.

 

So Shikamajru survived. I'm just glad i guess that the one who saved him was not all Tsunade. I think it would reduce Sakura's efforts too much if Tsunade got the credit for doing it. But anyway I'm glad it didn't happen although it would also go directly against the "the new generation will eventually surpass the old one" foreshadowing.

 

And now we finally got some cool Sakura panel time. It's nice to see that in the middle of all that she still wants really bad to help Naruto above all things. The "Naruto needs you" phrase was very important because it practically showed what is her main objective right now. It wasn't just about saving Shikamaru anymore, it was about saving Naruto's friend whom Naruto would need in his future. Also her facial expression is priceless, you can see so much concern in her eyes, she is without a doubt putting Naruto's feelings above everything. And absolutely zero Sasuke fangirlism. Sakura, you got 10 out 10 from me in this chapter

Well... Hinata is once again doing what she does best, wanting Naruto for herself. She doesn't say, actually she didn't say anything she is just thinking, something inspiring nor show any caring attitude like "we should all fight and help Naruto so we can stay at his side in the end" or "I will fight for Naruto's dreams". No, she thinks to herself "I want my piece of Naruto in the end so I will fight so I can be acknowledged". 

I'm not surprised really by the reactions, people would react the same way if Hinata's was shown in the bathroom sitting on a toilet. I mean, probably she would be thinking about Naruto there too.

 

But in the end this panel was actually good because it shows very clearly the meaning of "I want to stay at Naruto's side". It is not something special specifically meant for Hinata alone, it is something all Konoha 9 strive for, to be supportive companions to Naruto in the end.

Somebody gives some inspiring speech, the alliance fights, something bad happens, the alliance lose the will, somebody gives some inspiring speech and replay. It's been done again and again. So really, I'm not looking forward for the upcoming chapters.

You can't worry about someone / something else for a change? Really.

Something more bad is definitely going to happen. THEN there will be another speech. 

 

I can't imagine Kishi making a whole volume that is packed with action. The fight with Obito is a fight of emotions. Obito keeps on throwing bad situations towards Naruto, and after one or two speeches Naruto gets back up. It's going to continue until Naruto gets in a depressing situation that he cannot get back up OR Obito runs out of bad situations to provide him.
