This is why I like Naruto, character and series. It's not like Super Saiyan, where there's no such thing as extra perk that differs from the higher state.

 

Never got in that Super Saiyan stuff .. Its boring , just my opinion ..

Hmm curious chapter, I thought was a neat one to see tobirama getting some action. He helped naruto repeat the same rasengan slam his father did to obito years ago. Obito was just showing his real anger but naruto managed to shut him up with help from tobirama. Funny part when he tried to enter tailed beast mode but his power simply fizzed out. Minato has the other half and a dark nine tails who can talk to him? That's neat. Alas we also figured out what happened to hiruzen this chapter, he was killed as edo tensei does not regenerate after being hit by someone so strong like obito. Wonder what this conversation should do now, naruto may start to understand it was obito who did everything after what his parents told him and after just listening to obito. Funny how sage jutsu still worked against obito, but just how long?

I think he's saving his strenght he didnt showed his strongest jutsus yet and i think seeing Obito's power probably he might want to get it too.

 

Just look at how he reacted to "He can erase all the ninjutsu".

There was nothing about a break week on this chapter, but this festival is making it so there is nothing next week?

Nice chapter. Enjoyed the action from Tobirama and Naruto. Minato thinking like that, he has to go through this state for dark Kurama to show up, and cause it involves Obito.

 

Senjutsu attacks seems to be great this time. Don't know about Sakura gaining Slug Sage Mode, but it's still possible... Very possible. Sasuke won't be onlooker, he'll still fight. Kishi won't put him on hold. He'll get Snake Sage Mode too if he doesn't have it already. If Naruto and Sakura have them then Sasuke will too cause they are the trio that are the disciples of the Sannins.

 

Another thing, in page 8 in the last panel, was Obito attacking the alliance ? His attack was going over the heads of Naruto, Sasuke, Minato and Tobirama. It wasn't aiming at them. Is that right ?

Hmmm....I like it.

Having the Sage mode come into play as a means to harm Obito is indeed a good thing. Come into play that nature enhanced jutsu is the only way to hurt Obito in this form makes perfect sense and at least now we have a good idea on how Obito can be beaten. How the juubi can be beaten. It would also explain why Madara needs Hashirama for his slug sage I guess or whatever you want to call it being as his can be considered a nature chakra.

Opens up to Sakura getting Sage mode? I sure do hope so. That would be awesome.

Sasuke finally being the joke of the manga? LOVE IT. Sasuke gets so much attention that it was sickening. It was great that for once the Uchiha are shown not to be the ones with all the jutsu in the world. For once, not have the jutsu to fix everything and have Sasuke seem worthless.

I'm sorry, naruto, but you are definitely stronger than Sasuke in ever way shape and form. In physical, chakra, and possibly even intelligence now. Your biggest problem is you just don't want to admit it that you beat Sasuke at every turn INCLUDING love.

Yes Naruto can do the rasengan with one hand and has shown to be able to do that for some time. I believe they even said he just prefers to use clones cause he finds convenience in them. Better balance I guess than just "looking left and right at the same time." Him joining forces with Tobirama was brilliant and it is one of my most favorite scenes in the manga now. Top 10 at least. Poor Minato though. I still love you TT_TT

I am also not surprised that there is a "Shadow Kurama." Given that this is not the first time we have seen "shadow selves" especially with Naruto who fought this side of himself, I am not surprised it would come into play again. Hell, I would have been more surprised if he didn't have it. I do question though, how did Minato sync with the chakra then if this is the first time he spoken to this "shadow Kurama?"

Too bad no chapter next week. Stupid question, but do we get one the week after next? At least I get a break from the podcast.

Normally when a chapter doesn't come out, then it'll come out earlier the week after next. To put it short next chapter will most likely come out on Tuesday (August 19) as oppose to Wednesday.

Seriously, that's my favorite mode, and what I consider to be Naruto's pinnacle of hard work and training without relying on the Kyuubi.  

 

Also, love how I could see the gears in his mind working when I saw page 10 for the first time and how confident he is about his own dreams and aspirations that he wasn't distracted by his enemy badmouthing his father.... Unlike the last few times.
