Please can you people cut out the Hinata hate or the dislike towards her character, stop reading every chapter with pairing goggle and try to be happy that the characters are growing.

In regards of plot moving I didn't like the chapter, but when we talk about character progression all of them was fine, but Team 7 out shined every one.

 

Again there was no Pairing focus on this chapter, give the girl a break.

Eh... where did you see the hate? People reacted to Hinata's appearance quite mature if you ask me. We just don't like how Kishi is still spoiling her character.

But even with the gains, Sakura gained even more with her summoned jutsu, thus pushing her skills even more. What's more is, we're likely not done seeing her true capabilities. Hopefully she'll leave the healing to Katsuya and she'll do some fighting with her team and help deliver the final blow to the Ten Tails.

 

Do you believe that Sakura will conjure up this slug whenever she's in combat? The argument for why Naruto refused to summon Gamabunta against Neji or Sasuke at the VotE will be rehashed as a means of demeaning her fighting abilities. She hasn't revealed all that she is capable of but this does intensify the debate somewhat.

 

Ok. What about if Sakura used her chakra like Tsunade did to prevent Kabuto from using his body parts?

No we have not seen her do it, but It doesnt seem like it should be difficult for someone with precise chakra control and has already proven she is capable of summoning a s

 

I thought that ability was related to Tsunade's element for ninjutsu. It is possible that Sakura could develop a variant of it that doesn't require Raiton paralysis applications. Oh, but then this supposed unwillingness to use it in battle similar to Tsunade's reluctance to use it against Madara when she had the opportunity would be brought up. Honestly, despite the good this chapter provided, it also just provided more fuel for another fire.

Can people not like Hinata in this chapter without thinking of pairings? Can you not confuse "hate" with "critism"?

 

She's not growing, honestly. She's way too swallowed up in Naruto and needs to get a mind of her own.

I agree with you, i just feel that the whole "let's not talk about pairings" honestly it's a shipper forum so in one way or another we will have pairing stuff discussion on basically every chapter.

StriderC, I thought it was a decent chapter. It served it's purpose, which was to give the Rookie 6 their time to shine before moving on to bigger things. Next week, they'll be stepping aside and letting the big boys handle the fight. Now that, I can't wait for.

About Sakura's summoning, it's just exactly like it was for Sasuke.

Sasuke was suddenly able to summon, and we never saw him train for that.

I remember back then, many fans complained it was an asspull.

I think the only one we'll SEE training is Naruto because he is the hero of the manga.

Well, to be fair, 2 and half year training is the solution to everything and you can't really say asspull if that's the case. I would agree about the hawk summon though. That came out of nowhere to the point Tobi reacted the same as us.

 

the fact is that if he wants to be a jinchuuriki is that Sasuke needs the body which he doenst have, the impression that makes it seems is that both Naruto and Sasuke are saving up their strenght for their showdown.
And Naruto's father might restore his chakra and stamina giving out the other half of the kyuubi to make him up to 100% on his fight with Sasukemo.

BTW i think We will know about Tsunade's current state due to Katsuyu's summoning.

What if Orochimaru is going to use Edo Tensei on Tsunade and Jiraiya, (assuming she died), and use them for some evil plan?

I actually really want to see that.

He can't bring back Jiraya.. To perform Edo Tensei you need a part of the dead (their flesh), and Jiraya has drowned too low.

I don't know if she will, but she will if necessary. The slugs are beneficial. Tsunade summoned them when she was in combat back in Part 1. Also, it's actually quite understandable why she hasn't summoned them before, and she basically says so this chapter.

I'm sorry, it's wrong to criticize Hinata and her one dimensionality?  I'm very happy she's becoming stronger and moving forward, but I dislike how she sucks inspiration from Naruto so frequently like a leech or something.

 

Hinata gaining confidence from Naruto is cute .... but not if it's every time. It gets old and it gives off the impression that she's dependent and can't draw strength from herself. Not a good trait to have for a would-be leader of her Clan.

 

If I see a flaw of a character, I believe I have the right to make note of it.

Agreed. I was annoyed with Hinata have MORE jutsu. LOL But that's minor. Didn't ruin the chapter. I just think she needs to see NS because clearly, her tunnel vision is cloudy. I also guess she didn't hear that comment Naruto made. Kishi continues to play with couples, but I thought he'd be done with NH since it's so one sided and continues to be just that.

It would be epic, but I don't think this will happen.

It has been said many many times that Naruto surpassed Jiraya. A battle between them would be pointless.

Atm, Oro is on Sasukes side.

The only thing I could imagine is Sakura fighting Edo-Tsunade.

 

But who knows. This manga is way more obvious that I first thought ^^

i understand you guys are trying to seperate Romantic pairing moments from general development but in Hinata's case it cannot be seperated.

 

Her development is always, ALWAYS about Naruto (not always directly but any development she gets Naruto is there somewhere), and her wanting to get Naruto's acknowledgement and love. Basically what Sakura was to Sasuke but much much worse.

 

IMO, kishi is doing this to Hinata on purpose, he's making a mockery out of her character. Who thinks about romance in the middle of a war, let alone against an enemy that threatens complete oblitoration?

 

I really REALLY want some lee and ten ten. They have so much potential. Does Tenten have the weapon of the sot6p?

I enjoyed the chapter... I still don't like how Sasuke have magically took out snakes summoning... Wasn't Manda dead? Who's the kittening is that snake?

 

Sasuke summoned Katsuyu, it seems... But she wasn't with Tsunade the last time that we have seen her?

 

This chapter is the chater promised by Kishimoto in the interview where he said that each rookie will shine during the war. And he did it.

She doenst have more jutsu, she just mastered what she could not do before, i didnt saw that as a pairing moment whatesover, because it's nothing new her thinking about Naruto, despite not being romantic oriented since she once again draw her will from Naruto, for me i still think he's done with NH, because he still saw this only as a development for Hinata's character without any impact on Naruto's character proof of this is that he still called Sakura his girlfriend in front of his father and still seek for an romantic relationship with Sakura even on the last chapter where he got jealous prove this.

Upon second(third?) reading Sai's attack had to fail to give Naruto Sakura and Sasuke the intel on how to procede hence the triple summons, it was not a slight on Kishimoto's part but a carefully crafted plot device.

Hinata's tunnel vision is a bit much. Why must Kishi continue to drown her character in the Naruto pool? And I wouldn't have even minded her using Naruto if it wasn't in such a way. It's obviously romantic when it comes to her, and that "always by my side" BS needs to vanish because that's pretty much ALL it is...
