Yes. It's indisputable now. The top three fighters of the Rookies are standing right here for us to see:

 

 

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are at the top. No one can deny it.

 

I still can't decide which panel of her is my favorite. When the Yin seal forms? When she punches the crap out of the clone? When she shouts, "Shannarou!", before completely annihilating the battle field? LOL. Those little black things caught up in her explosion are Juubi clones! Screw taking out a Zetsu in one punch. She just destroyed hundreds of Juubis with that fist!

 

I also really like the Team Seven interaction at the end. Sasuke and Naruto are at her back, and she's looking mighty powerful. She's so gorgeous!

Indeed! She's a kage level nin right along with her team. She's a force to be reckoned for sure. No female and most males can't even compare to her. I loved when the seal just formed and that badass expression she had at that time. Was truly awesome, and then of course her launching the juubi and screwing up the field. I'd gladly call this new move, "Cherry Blossom Explosion". And what's crazy is that range of it. She can punch the ground and deflect jutsu given how massive the explosion is, and I'd say this is a mid range attack at this point. Sakura is just <3

 

Also, for those bringing up the age comment. She's not saying anything about staying young, and no the Byakudo doesn't age the person. She's saying she doesn't have to use it to hide her true look, which is what we see already. It doesn't have any negative side effects for her either.

She said she doesnt need to use byakudo to hide her true look because she is using another thing or has another way to do that, without wasting byakudo.

I didn't mean to discourage anyone. :( I was just pointing it out...

Personally, I believe that moment was just to seemingly, and subtly, reestablish the Team 7 love triangle. But we all know how much Sakura has changed, so she (hopefully) won't become a fangirl again. Her priority is Naruto, like it has been for a long time now, and she's still got unresolved romantic feelings for him. That will have to be addressed sooner or later (probably when the bench scene comes up!)

I like this variant of Byakugou Sakura has! It seems more offensive based, enhancing her stats and whatnot. And since it's not a healing jutsu, her lifespan won't be shortened. I hope we get some flashbacks of her learning it, and telling us how it works and its purposes and all that...

Exactly this brings back the very same love triangle.

It's bad writing for me... i'm disappointed with it.

I don't understand why are you bothered about this... I didn't see any SS interaction here, at least not romantic hints surely... Sakura didn't blush because those are just war wounds.

I don't see where she says this. All I saw was, she doesn't have to waste the diamond seal on worrying about her appearance like Tsunade does. That's pretty much it.

There were no blushes people, it was a small panel, so that's why it wasn't enough place to draw all those scratches.

Ah see I was under the impression that anytime she used it it ate some of her lifeforce hence why she looks like kitten for 50. I mean seriously compare her to pervvy sage.

Ns is fine, nothing happened to it this chapter, I would consider a blow to narusaku if it was something like sakura taking sasuke over naruto or naruto going over to hinata.

This chapter is a return to the old team 7, the ones she remembers fighting alongside, if anything in my opinion, she is happy Sasuke is working with both of them. So sakura blushes or says sasukes name, guess following nh logic that makes SS canon now doesn't it?

Seriously, remember the only thing SS has left to resolve is how sakura feels for Sasuke, I seriously doubt that Sasuke would even get these feelings for her out of nowhere, that would put him ooc and still make ss weak as a result. Remember ns is fine, it's still got a lot going for it. Still many things left to address, the sakura Kushina stuff, that is still present too.

It's just sakura blushing, it's not like it's the end of everything, (even if she really is blushing) okay so what does this honestly do? It's not like she was glossing over anything from her speech or said one thing and did another now is it? Again don't be suprised in the future if there is a forehead compliment reveal from naruto, I mean she has a symbol on her forehead now, who loves that forehead, which recent attributed parallel had a similar situation? There, best of all just remember this, where there is SS interaction, there is also ns interaction. This is just a minor event, it's not like 615. 615 made us way worse, 631 alone is still the bigger one cause remember, it's carrying forth a story element with Kushina towards sakura, again, the sakura-Kushina thing is something for the reader to figure out, so it is again as last chapter, considerbly a form of foreshadowing, characters themselves are unaware if this.

I still believe ns will come, it's not like 631 was upset from this. Ns has a lot left to it. We still have the sakura Kushina stuff as a good foundation and the most development. Sakura can still mature over him too. Nothing is done. Ns is still very strong.
