I guess people would like to see Sakura doing the reaction as in NH hug, but I don't think that's Kishi's game. I think we got two of them and they are enough. I mean if it happens, I expect a movie route, where it gets conflicted, separation, and then get together in the end.

First one; can't say, second; Probably yes. Honestly, with how little attention the Hyuga are given [Thanks a lot Kishi, we don't need Hyugas. just more Uchiha emoness  ] It's hard to say. Hinata did seem sad at her father being disappointed in her in her flashback, and she has said she wants to get stronger, but sadly I can't say. Kishi just doesn't pay too much attention to other clans, because he just assumes everyone loves the Uchiha D, when in fact some people, like myself, prefer side characters like Hinata & Lee. The man needs to realize that he has fans who AREN'T Uchiha Fapboys , and prefer other characters like Sakura, neji or Kiba. He's neglected everyone for the Uchiha/Senju/Uzumaki. It's kinda sad, especially for someone like me, since most of my favs are side characters.   

This so kittening much. I could just pull Kishi's hair out for all the potential he's wasted with his characters. I couldn't be more disappointed with how he tossed aside his amazing rookies in exchange for more Uchiha/Senju backstory. We've gotten more on Uchiha than we have gotten on even Uzumaki I think! Might as well change this manga to Uchiha Chronicles: The Manga.

Meh, all I'm saying is,like, a scene where Naruto and Sakura are like, say, wrapping their arms around each other or something, and Hinata's there with the K11, but doesn't mind it. That's not too much to ask for, yeah?

Well everyone was there and even Lee raged because it was Sakura, i mean that even the confession itself, Hinata never demanded an answer, so she didnt added drama, neither Naruto responded, it was like nothing happened at all, it was just for Hinata, something that she had to say to progress her development, example even the chapter where she says she will work hard to not leave his side anymore, you can interpret as a moment were she get a closure on her feelings for Naruto, the "..." also can mean that, even her wishes at Path to Radiance can mean a closure where she wants to be his friend.

People can easily assume that Hinata doesnt want a romance with Naruto anymore because she probably knows he loves Sakura or she knows he doesnt love her, i mean Kishi can left it open to interpretation like he did several times, but he never did it with Naruto, like "does naruto still loves Sakura" he never did it, he doesnt let any open room for people to think on something like that.

With Sakura we have a lot.

We have a lot of drama when Kishi makes the fanbase guessing "does she still loves Sasuke or she loves Naruto?".

 

It's like she's not part of the romance subplot, she's not a part of the love triangle and her feelings are not an obstacle that needs to be resolved or Naruto think about "i have to talk with Hinata before i confess with Sakura" because srsly he called her his gf in front of a lot of ppl.

Canadian DJ, I'm done arguing with you; It's one thing to say That Hinata doesn't matter to NaruSaku, but when you say her character won't even become the Hyuga leader ...  How much of a hater are you anyways?! Whether NaruHina happens or not, one thing is 100% clear-as-day gonna be canon; and that's Hinata being Hyuga leader. Why? Because the role was never TAKEN from her to begin with; Hanabi/Neji being the given the role is either fanon [in Neji's case] or filler [in hanabi's case]
 
Also, Hinata WAS there when Sasuke showed up [But she got her own panel ] 
 
T XD, I'm not putting her on a pedestal; much like Shikamaru, Kishimoto has given Hinata more development than most other side characters, and she has issues that need to end/be resolved for her character to be done.

*Her issues with  her father & clan need to end
*She needs to move on from Naruto and stand on her own.
 
how can all this happen if you just expect her to disappear? Hm?  How can Hinata move on from Naruto, and impress her father, and gain confidence if she doesn't show up/do something? It doesn't work

And actually, hinata was kicked out of her fathers sight back then because she was weak and hanabi was the stronger one. Hanabi has been training under her father to become the head of the clan, go read the chunin exam arc in the manga cuz I think your short of facts. And neji wasnt said to have to become the head of clan, but he wasnt allowed since he was the side branch and he seemed pissed off back in part 1. Hinatas goals have never included to become the head of the clsn and she never once thought of that. This is just a concept the hinata fans have made up.

Oh and bout the panel of hinata when sasuke arrived, I see what you did there, trying to make hinata sound like she got a panel of her own no she didnt. Before sasuke arrived in front of naruto and sakhra we got a panel of hinata with this in her speech bubble, "!!" Then sasuke arrived. But when the K11 rounded up around him and naruto and sakura hinata wasnt there. Go read the manga.

You say she needs to show us her twin lion fists and 64 palms. Whats there to show? She already used the 64 palms, what can she possibly use them on other than the jubi clones which she already did? Nothing. Kishi couldve shown us what the lion fists do in 633 but he didnt. Her times up. Plus, whats so special about it? Is is some sort of fuinjutsu? Will she gain a power up to her byakugan? No, my guess it just drains the opponents chakra. She cant do anything with them.

Hinatas father already saw her use the air palm, even though she had narutos chakra just like the rest of the alkiance, but kishimoto just wanted to show us that I guess. Did hinata ever think of her clan? Did kishi ever mention anything about hinata in his interviews? No. Mark my words that kishi wont make hinata the head of the clan.

Kishi already made hinata say that in 573 and she already got confidence from naruto and nejis advice and said in chap 633 she'd keep improving and even if its just one step. What do you want kishi to do an indian drama for hinata with leaves dancing jn the backfround and her lookimg at naruto from a distance and repeating the SAME thing she said jn chal 633? Kishi has got a manga he wants to finish he has bigger stuff to handle. Hes alresdy finished her chsracter.

Hinata's character isn't done all right. I hope Kishi gives her confidence and made her into a more dependable person without relying on Naruto. I do believe in the end Hinata and Hanabi will fight for the heir position and eventually Hinata will win. I see her ruling over the clan and been the one to break the bird cage seal and slowly uniting the second and main branches, putting the true meaning of" clan". Can't forget she will also erase the hatred from the second branch towards the main branch. I also believe Hinata will become one of Naruto's most trusted friends among team seven and Shikamaru. She will also give her support as heiress when he becomes Hokage. We can't forget her growth of character wasn't done completely by Naruto, but Neji too. He also helped her become into a better person. 
 
However of everything I mentioned, the only thing I don't see is Hinata getting together with Naruto.

Hinata isnt an importsnt character and kishi has never foreshadowed hinats to become narutos trusted friends. Shikamaru and choji and neji and lee are the ones other thsn team 7. Hinata has never wanted to become the leader of the clan and kishi doesnt intend to go tbat route. Mark my words, its never been mentioned even once. Hanabi has been the one training under her fsther. The side branch and main branch are already friendly towards eachother and alresdy been addressed by hiashi and his brother in the war. Nejis dad thought thst the side and makn branch were still at war like the olden days, but hiashi told him thst thats wrong and hinata and neji are fighting alongside eachother. The side branch and main branch have already fixed thr problem. Plus hinata has never been made for this role as head. Ber character has come to a full circle. She wont be doing anything. Mark my words. I dunno why some people are expecting so much from hinata when kishi alresdy finished it and she gained confidence and stands on her own without naruto. Soon all of you will come to know.

I think he will but again, he's not going to show how she become or going to give an ending to her, i think he will make NS epilogue and leave the other characters open to interpretation i mean we wont see ShikaTema, LeeTenten or stuff like that, he will just either give a glimpse of what happened with them later or just left it open after giving an epilogue to NS.

I think the same, when kishi showed that she's not part of the romance subplot or add drama to the story is enough to think that her ending or whatever will be only shown in a glimpse or some small panels he's not going to make her have an huge appearance and show her own she became the head of the clan or whatever.

I do think she is done here and whatever future part happens, it's either in epilogue, or if very lucky, happens after the fight. Highly doubt it's romance aspect because she has been going for acknowledgment aspect the whole time. Other than that, whatever she does has nothing to contribute to plot or anything else, just a supporter with all others. Sakura has advantages due to her connections with Team 7 and highly possible to Obito for Rin. That's all I can say for now.

About being the head of her clan, I can say that Kishi can make her one or not, but he can surely make her the head cause she has to achieve something especially if he shows side characters what they have become at the end. If he does that, he can't make Hinata not achieved anything.

 

Some things are given to side characters like quick panels and that's it, and it could for her infatuation for Naruto like showing us her moving on, or she's already cause she said after the war she'll stop chasing after him. It's not something unusual. Hell, she can even not show that. Her romance aspect, as to show some glimpse that it's been concluded, is something if Kishi wants to throw few panels in simply.

Hanabi as the Hyuga leader?     Come on now, if Hinata's not getting with Naruto, the least she that should be done with her is giving her a high possession, The Leader of Konoha's Strongest clan. That'd definitely show her Growth and Maturity, and it would make her "equal" with Naruto, which is something she's always wanted, since both of them would be leaders of a powerful group of people. Besides, If I remember correctly, I believe Hanabi being given the role was Filler, In fact I'm sure of it. Hiashi merely decided to focus on Hanabi more, rather than Hinata, but to me, it seems he's started to accept hinta more, since it's kinda implied at the end of part 1. Anyways, I doubt someone more minor than TENTEN would steal the possession of a secondary character like Hinata. I just don't see it happening, Hanabi is waaay too underdeveloped [We don't even know her PERSONALITY and she doesn't even appear in the ANIME FILLERS], besides, Hinata is fighting in a war, Hanabi is not..... that should tell us something, no?    

 

Hiashi was impressed with Hinata when she helped Ino stop the Juubidama & The Juubi's arm, so I think he's acknowledging her power, so all we need now is for Hiashi to see Hinata's 64 palms + lion fists combo, and he'll have Hinata set to be as the Clan leader

she seems more confident if you ask me, with the way she slapped Naruto, her role model, and went on to lift his spirit even though she'd just been crying over Neji's death, yet when she saw Naruto was gonna lose it, she had to pull herself together and straighten Naruto up. And then there's the fact that Hiashi stated to Hizashi that Hinata and Neji were fighting side by side and we see a panel of Hinata and Neji defending each other's backs, with Hinata saving neji from a Zetsu, and then asking if he's ok. And then in 633, where she ruthlessly attacks a Juubi clone; Sure it's not something impressive, but it is something impressive for her to do.

 

I have read the manga and here is What I saw

 

Neji and Lee's development as characters ended in part 1. Really, we haven't seen kitten from them in part 2. The biggest thing they did was Dying [Neji] and kicking Madara in half [Lee]. They haven't had CHARACTER Development. Hinata's character HAS been getting developed.

 

There was a Confession from Hinata to Naruto, and She told him that she Loves him.  So she does love him, and it's NOT mere admiration..... The confession needs to be rejected or at least hinted at being so. 

 

I don't see what's so hard to understand. Kishimoto shows us the Lion fists twice, yet doesn't show their function, most likely to build suspense; He then hints at Hinata combining this unknown attack with her new 64 palms attack. She is gonna use it, on who, however, I don't really now.

 

I'm pretty sure it's clear to anyone that she's still clinging on to Naruto, considering, in 633, where you claim her character is done, she remembers 615's hand holding scene, which shows she still hasn't gotten Naruto out of her mind, so no, her problems with Naruto AREN'T done.

Actually, it's not even a direction, rather a dead end. Can you make a new road? Yeah, but the problem is that it's late for a setup. 573 sets up for her hope for goal in return. She got it. Now, it's really hard to squeeze before entering the final combat. I guess that's the advantage for Sakura because hers lasts to the very end.
