Hmm imo love and hate are pretty much linked...Sasuke hated Itachi so much precisely because he loved him more than anyone else before the 'betrayal'. Obito hated the world because he loved Rin etc. It's clear the Sharingan gets awakened and evolves when the user is in some distressed/extreme emotional state.

So for me I don't think it's all that far fetched, and imo it makes sense. It's not as though Tobirama said the Uchiha would be stronger if they were all happy loving bunnies.

I mean I suppose as a bloodline limit it's beneficial in some way- instead of becoming broken and losing focus if people you want to protect are in danger/killed, your Sharingan feeds off those feelings and becomes more powerful.

That explains a lot, Obito went nuts after seeing the girl he loved, killed by one he considered friend. That's like... love squared turned to hate squared, hence Obito. Probably the evidence I need to really believe Tobi IS Obito.

...Yes, even at this late in the game, I still didn't believe Obito is Tobi. Tobi's manipulation upon manipulation, after all.

Also, it's quite jarring to see Hashirama so immature. His silent appearances are always so solemn-looking. It's a good jarring, though.
It makes sense, really, the stronger Ninja are in the Naruto-verse, the weirder and quirkier they are.

The chapter was great XD.

I liked Hashirama=Naruto thing. This shows, again, how Kishi loves to make characters similar to Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Plus, I think that Mito=Sakura as well, from what we have seen in this chapter.
Tobirama's speech was interesting and reveals how the Uchihas functions, and I can say that those people are somewhat complicated
Tobirama's explanation to Sasuke was like a session of Uchiha psychology XD.

Seems that Tobirama was the first one who finishes his responds to Sasuke, and now, it's Hashirama's turn. Though, I don't know if Sarutobi will explain to Sasuke as much as Tobirama and Hashirama did or more than he did in this chapter, but Minato is the last one to explain some things to Sasuke.

And why SS is brought up ?!!!!!! 0_o. There's nothing that implies about SS. The love thing with the Uchihas is the love in general, like a friend, a love, a family. This love explanation was for us to understand why Uchihas, or Sasuke more and Madara, has had some hard turn of events in their lives.

when you think about it the love thing really does make sense. remember how to unlock the mangekyou? you need to kill someone very close to you, but maybe you don't need to kill them, just experience losing them (like obito with rin) so the whole uchiha love thing really does make sense.

Lol, as if everyone who's polite and shy means they're like Hinata. That's a funny attempt at logic.


....Also, I would advise you not to come here and complain what other sites are saying. Same thing happened at 615 thread and the mods kept warning against the practice. It can lead to more bashing, just like I kinda/maybe/not sure if I did/ did up there.

If you look at Sasuke's emotions toward Sakura in both part 1 and 2, it's clear there will never be sasusaku. On the other hand sasukar does have a foundation. (Not a sasukar shipper but I'm not going to deny what is shown in the manga.)

Then why did he become more powerful(his eye changed unexpectedly) after, possibly, being filled with despair at almost losing her? Hopefully I'm seeing the explanation of this love curse right. But, if I am, then it wouldn't make sense to say, imo, that he only saw her as a tool.

I just don't see stasis ski happening, sakura is not even in the village and it would serve no purpose. Kishi would literally hurt sakura if she tried to see sasuke again alone.

One reason I can see the narusaku minakush parallel coming full circle is when naruto complimented sakura in the start of the series. If sakura found that out she would see it was always naruto. Sasuke only had tolerance for his teammates and only saw them as friends but that changed once he left, he sees his old team as his biggest obstacle. To decide how he goes forward, I don't see him just suddenly loving sakura that would be out of nowhere with no plot. Hell naruhina has more development than sasusaku.

I can still see narusaku happening because there has been nothing showing naruto is over sakura, fact he still loves her in the anime. Not to mention, remember his somber thought about why he could not confess to sakura? It was because he felt if he could not keep his promise then he does not deserve her just like he feels he does not deserve to be hokage. This came up in chp 457 only 12 before the confession, I do not see it just being dropped after that, remember sakura lied for her own reasons to try and protect and make amends to naruto, not the best choice but naruto as well had to hide stuff from sakura, mainly the truth about itachi. Sakura is aware of this but not the details, she will be informed later.

Sakura and sasuke will meet up again with naruto team 7 will come together again but when this moment comes, it's the beginning of the closure and final resolution between team 7. Until we see something narusaku is not dead, nothing ever said it was, naruto can't just jump to hinata, it would be a pointless rushed outlook, plus we don't know how sakura feels, she may be reaffirming her feelings on sasuke, we don't even know how she feels about naruto or reacted to something in chp 615. Until we see sakura again, we have no idea, she can suddenly come back in a flash of smoke with the Kages or whatever, we still have no idea. It's still able to happen and until we see her, we can only think and wonder what is in store for the story and sakuras role. I can still see her going with naruto after all they did.

She was probably a tool in the beginning, but I think he warmed up to her. That doesn't mean he'll change his nature be blushy and all, but I think he considered Karin as important until he lost control of his mind. He hesitated to kill her, and I am not saying this to tell you she should forgive him, but I don't think she was a mere tool. I just think that his prioritized revenge first, and his team came second. As if he was thinking "I don't want to do this, but I need to cross this sin to complete my goal."

I think this is the way Kishi is portraying love. They'll go to the lengths of earth to save them. Sasuke did this for Karin in a half-sane state, and Naruto and Sakura has both done it for eachother. ( )

Sasuke has to decide whether to draw power from the hatred of his enemies or from the love of his friends. This counts for all Uchihas, but it's easier to fall down a black hole than to climp up a tree.

Even with this "You're so twisted because of love", I don't think Sasuke is a good guy, neither is his mission. It's not that love drive his actions, love, or rather, the height of emotion (be it love, hate, sadness, heck, maybe happiness) the sharingan and whatever weird crap that happens in their brain activates.

The love Sasuke had for his brother was not 'strong' enough. To make Sasuke stronger, he went with the opposite emotion, hatred. Of course, Sasuke emotions were completely twisted. He loved his brother, but hated him more for a long while. Sasukes emotional circumstances pooped out the Sasuke of today. Still manages to love his brother, but decides to hate everything else. (But, we've seen Sasuke's sharingan evolve most when someone he cares about is in danger -or he himself is in danger, causing emotional distress-)


Eh, I'm rambling a little, but I hope what I'm trying to get across is Sasuke still hates everything. But, love in a certain form is even stronger than the hate he has. The love for his brother (or Naruto in the future) is what will make him more powerful in the end. OR something like that.

P.S: We've seen his sharingan evolve a little with saving Karin too right?

I don't know where SK stands now. But, this chapter really doesn't say anything precise about SK like in this pic. From what is being said by Tobirama, their eyes can evolve after someone dear, as it does include in a cherished way or cared for, to them dies or is hurt. So, it doesn't mean that that someone is loved romantically by the Uchiha person.

I will wait for when Karin is reunited with Sasuke and stuff, then we'll see what happens throughout the time XD
