In a more serious note, I think in the next chapters we'll finally find out exactly how Rin died. I'm kinda hoping that maybe after Obito "died" Rin started falling in love with him, but was crushed by the harsh reality that he was no longer by her side. You know how the old saying goes that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone.

Maybe she got a little depressed because of it and that affected her abilities in combat allowing the enemy an opportunity to kill her.

I really liked the chapter one of the best in awhile... if (and to me there is still lingering doubt) Tobi is Obito then I am a bit sad but will get over it.

a bit too much Anakin Skywalker for my tastes but good people have become villians in stories for the "right" reasons so we shall see

I think she was telling him to meet him at that place and the poor boy thought she meant something else that's why he got her the flowers . Correct me if I'm wrong though

I would be a pretty sad ending if all three boys ending with unrequited loves.

That would be like saying that even if you become a determined person like Naruto you'll never be able to get the girl you like. And that the only way to get her attention is to be born a handsome talented genius.

If Sakura ended with Sasuke that would be like saying that hard work and determination will never get you anywhere because even though that's how Jiraiya, Obito and Naruto are in the end the girl they liked never liked them back.

they did not friendzone, rin loved kakashi and tsunade closed her heart when her boyfriend died.

Huh? Do you have any proof that Rin loved Kalashi? For me, it was just a crush. And it's about Rin friendzoning with Obito, not Kakashi.

As soon as I saw the name of the chapter I flipped. Gah, Obito!? It seemed so obvious, but he was such a good kid. :c Why, Kishi, WHY!?
This is going to take some serious explaining... Kishi's going to have one hell of a time doing it, too, with all the discrepancies everyone pointed out. The next chapter, big 600, better be a great one.

But I really loved this chapter. It had me on the edge of my seat! And the no dialogue thing, fantastic. The flashbacks just broke my heart. It's clear Obito's love for Rin was really important... Man, it was almost like reading about Naruto himself, just with black hair, black eyes, and no whiskers (and different clothes, obviously). But his feelings for her took up a good chunk of the chapter. It was like reading about Naruto and Sakura all over again. xD There's just too many similarities for it to be a "coincidence" or what have you. Especially with the Sakura tree. But, yeah, I don't really enjoy the Kakashi/Sasuke parallels.

I just have this feeling Rin had something to with him turning evil... Obviously simply having unrequited love wouldn't be what made him go bad, but perhaps her death was a part of it? Maybe it was the final thing to push him over the edge. And I feel so bad for Kakashi. Dx But at least we'll finally (hopefully) find out what happened to Rin. Maybe this is the whole thing about Kakashi Kishi promised several times?

Yeah, I'm anxiously anticipating the next chapter. I really have no idea what will happen.

Yeah, I expected Kishi to reveal that at the end of the chapter, but the first panel ----- smacked me right in the face with something I and many others have thought about for years. Gotta say, Kishi knows how to hold an audience in suspense, I am more in suspense now than I was last week!!!

Plus, check these parallels, just like Naruto, except Naruto accomplished everything Obito couldn't. Its all sad, exciting, surprising, mind blowing, crazy!!!!!! Soo much to take in!!!!!!

I agree that the suspense of the chapter is really top notch, it manages to feel both innocent and incredibly foreboding.

But I'm not going to lie I'm not a huge fan of Tobi being Obito, unless he is being controlled because that sort of makes Shisui the only truly good Uchiha of the series (Itachi is a little too gray to be considered I feel) and I don't like the idea of 99.9% of the Uchiha clan being homicidal maniacs.

If that's the case then its easy to think that it was right to destroy the clan or that the ninja world would be better off without them and that's the wrong train of thought.
I know that its setting up Sasuke as the ultimate redeemer of the clan or the last flame of a powerful but arrogant clan that needs to be stomped out but I would've liked a few more clan members that show it's not 100% awful.

i posted the picture before, i dont care if u think it's a crush or not but she says my feelings for you then kakashi says that i was a kind of trash that tried to abandon you, second it's not friendzone when obito finnaly was going to tell her his feelings the situation did not let him do it, eh wanted a time alone but his friends showed up, 3rd this is a fictional shounen friendzone does not fit here, and 4th about tsunade even if jiraya tell her that he loved her, probably she would not accept(when she realized it was too late he died.), her love died and almost all the people she cared were dead, she close her heart and struck in games and sake, learn to make a difference between real world and shounen.
rin loved kakashi romantically the same way sakura does if you deny it u're doing the same thing when u say that NH fandom is crazy with their arguments if u are unable to see the obvious.

That's not possible, Tobi used the teleporting techniques unique to Obito during his battle against Minato.

yes it was pointed out earlier there is no definitive answer in either way from the manga it was just assumed that he was not Hokage yet but he might have been
