I usually keep running to evade shout attacks, then when they land I keep spamming with two handed weapons, and if they are about to shout or bite, I use an charged attack to stun them, strangely, dragons don't seem to give a damn to my companions and focus only on me when they land, I'm using Farkas as my current companion, and he seems to be as tough as Lydia. Lol, how stupid of me, I never use FUS, but the whole sequence FUS-RO-DAH, to stun an dragon, maybe I will try your way and only use FUS to see if it's more effective. I'm using companion armor right now, it's pretty resistant, and an elven gauntlet that give an huge bonus of 30% to two-handed.

Well, I don't use FUS because it's more effective, I use it for a shorter recharge time. The key is to hit it just as it's about to Shout. If you have to take in a bit of Fire/Frost damage, it's fine. Better than taking in the full duration of the dragon's Shout. If you hit it too early, the dragon's gonna ignore and blast you anyway. You can use FUS while it's shouting too, to cut it off and prevent further damage. Remember though, FUS doesn't have the same distance as FUS-ROH-DAH.

I just finished the main quest, with one of the most epic battles to conclude it and so...

ENDING SPOILER --Click here to view--
I return to the throath of the world, and many dragons greet me and chant togheter to show their respect, and then I wonder, are they really 'evil'? Perhaps it was Alduin that got them in the wrong path? Maybe once they used to be an peacefull race like any other, perhaps future Elder Scrools might reveal this, but now I drink some nice mead in name of victory, unfinished side quests, here I come!

If you want a...somewhat peaceful resolution to the Imp-Stormcloak Civil War, don't join either. There's a bug along the main quest line that prevents you from mediating a truce if you've joined either Imperial or Stormcloak.

I might be pulling a 60 dollars out the pocket for this game, but don't know if just random dragon fights and a few 10000 town people are worth it. mellow.gif

*Raises torch and pitchfork*

Anyway, guys, a recent PS3 patch seemed to have fixed the lag issue. I'll keep asking my brother if he starts to lag again since he's currently playing.

I haven't even joined the Stormcloaks or Imperials yet, but if you said there's a peaceful resolution for both sides, I'll definitely take that over having to fight each other.

Nice, I had the dragon soul issue once, and this fix about dragon not attacking, it's about dragons sometimes not coming down to attack you and just flying on circles?

I joined the stormcloacks instead of the peace teatry, what can I say, I can't stand the empire, besides, I thought the stormcloack ending felt very satisfying.

It's not an mmo.

You're too used to play MMOs.

This game will punish you for being stupid and award you for being tactical. But if you're playing the MMO "charge in with people" mentality, you're gonna get a nasty surprise.

Oh man, the draugrs... and the mages. Argh, sometimes fighting dragons and giants are a breeze when compared to mages freezing your butt off....

I've actually become quite the archer in this game, in contrast to Oblivion where I was sword-shield all the way. It makes fights easier to get the first hit in with a sneak attack damage bonus using a bow.

Fire wizards!!!!!!!! rawr.gif

How I hated those, god damnit! And those draugrs are freaking hard to kill, principally if there were 3 of them ganging up on you, lol I even remember, during an certain quest, I just go up an castle, and I reach the top, there are about 4 of them surrounding me and there was an portal that was the only way out, I didn't thought twice and jumped on it, to be honest, it was quite an epic chase.

FUS RO DAH saved my ass one time when I was low health and bandit mages were chasing me.

Blew them off the castle keep and onto the mountain floor.

And the Forsworn mages... Those Freeze cloaks will shave your health off if you don't pay attention to it. Thank goodness for Ice Form. I just freeze 'em all and Lydia and I hack at them while they slowly get up.

In fact, all three elements seem much deadlier around.

Ice slows you and drains your fatigue.
Lightning drains your magicka.
Fire, well continuous damage as always.

I actually remember reading about Skyrim being able to support 2 players. My friend and I wanted to troll the world of Skyrim! I was disappointed when it turned to be false.

I'll probably save and join a side, beat all the quests and go back to the safe point and join the other just to experience the difference. The way it was going though I was going to reach that truce. In the end its the better decision from the two.

I made myself dragon Armor XD
I couldn't resist and powered up my Smith. Now Im doing Enchantments and soon I'll have crazy powerful weapons, and armor. I may have to raise the hardness of the game.

But... but... it's so beautiful, and falmers are not that hard to kill at higher levels. I actually think Blackreach is the most beautifull place in all Skyrim.
