Welcome back Twilight it's been so long since you've been here as always you're way of interpreting the manga is amazing I will agreed with you. Finally Kishi will focus on Sakura and show her more of a heroine the best of all moving on from Sasuke.

I'm so stumped.

It's really "for better and for worse" for Sakura, isn't it?

She really amazes me, because the path she has chosen is really hard. I still love her, she is still an amazing girl and would always be, she's still my number 1 character in all this.

I blame Naruto for this - REALLY. If he really loved Sakura, he should have woo Sakura seriously - he NEVER did in the second part apart from one single date proposal, where on top of it he refused to pay. Instead, he still pushed Sakura in Sasuke's arms when he refused her confession. If Sakura STILL harbour feelings for Sasuke, I blame Naruto, because at least she had been willing to let go of Sasuke, but with Naruto's action following the confessions...she got hope again.

I suddenly see a different ending in all this - Sasuke dies, Sakura decides not to love anyone anymore and roams around the world like Tsunade did...and Naruto.........

excuse me we Know Sakura still loves Sasuke but i Have no reason to believe she doesn't have romantic feelings for Naruto (specially being the most developed pairing) while the other two are completely one sided. so it still has a hell of a chance. but that dosn't mean it NS have no flaws tho. they do.
once she finds out the bench scene she will have found her soulmate like Kushina.

Sakura has done more for Naruto then mostly anybody she is he person who saved him form the hell of loneliness.
Hinata does NOT deserve Naruto she was never there for him or ever help him or aknowledge him when he was lonely in pain. she watched him
NOBODY deserves anything! thats an awful thing to say.

Sakura is on her way to falling deeply in love with Naruto she may not know it yet but shes getting there but still confused. Sakuras love for Naruto is getting stronger and stronger after the 2nd reunion. we can see that in her actions.

Agree on a whole, but specially with the highlighted parts.
Guess I'm a Sakura supporter to the core.

Why are you all guys suddenly deciding to stop reading the manga?
I also might not like where this is going, though it still might take a right turn.
Sakura looks pretty depressed at the thought of Sasuke ~ Great guy. She knows this guy is not great, this might actually lead her to question herself: Exactly what everyone else wants to know from her now "why the heck she still likes Sasuke?" when she can have the foddernin#143 Naruto?
This can be a positive development for NS, 'cause I am sure Sakura has been getting more and more romantic feelings for Naruto throughout part 2.
But yeah, Mr. Kishimoto drags this out any furthur, and I'm going to start shipping SakuraXZetsu.
I also like Red Delicious' idea.

eh, if SasuSaku happens, then it won't be the end of the world for me (if he pulls a 360 in his attitude). Given that he seems very likely to die, Sakura may still end up with Naruto, but what are you gonna do? There's more to this series than just the romance. So long as Naruto doesn't end up with Hinata I won't get too pissed off.

Back on topic, most of you guys need to take a chill pill. Twilight, welcome back and great post! And I fully agree with you. Now for that NH (which isn't one at all. Whenever Hinata comes in, suddenly people like to scream in horror here). Hinata just said from the script that that she has to do her best and the war is all about protecting Naruto, which IS true. Did you guys totally forget about the tibits of what Shikamaru and the rest of the Konoha 11 before and after the confession and Team 7 Reunion 2.0? They had said they relied on Naruto too much and now they're stepping up during this war to protect their friend/comrade.

Things seem bad now, but the way Sakura looked when she thought of Sasuke seemed a bit off.

If NH/SS happen, then:

a.) Yamato meant something other than Sakura loving Naruto at the Tenchi bridge scene, which makes absolutely no sense.
b.) Sakura's hug at the end of the Pain Invasion was just a "friend hug", and apparently Kishi has no idea what a friend hug looks like.
c.) Sakura was lying during her confession, and made a HUGE mistake after hearing about Naruto's feelings from Sai.
d.) Naruto is going to ignore his mom's advice to find a girl like her. Because, let's be honest, Hinata and Kushina have almost nothing in common, other than long hair and coming from an exotic clan.

So the bottom line is that, if NS doesn't happen, Kishi's ability to write romance is on par with that of a trained chimp. Either that, or he only cares about making money, and just trolls all the fandoms. Either way, it seems pointless to get depressed over this, considering we would have been misinterpreting this from the very beginning, and Kishi's nowhere the near as great a writer as some of us have deluded ourselves into thinking.
Hopefully this isn't the case however, and this whole scene is intended to resolve Sakura's feelings for Sasuke. I'm just bracing myself for the worst right now.

e.) her feelings concered for Naruto in databook 1,2,3 mean nothing. witch makes no sense.
f.) what the point of her growing feelings throughtout the manga then?

her heartwarming loving smile she ONLY gives to Naruto means nothing? yeah right
her finding out Hinata loves Naruto didn't bother her? when it clearly did.

the hug didn't look like a friend hug its considered romantic in japanese culture to do that.
i really don't think her confession was a lie wasn't her feelings for Naruto true and factual?

Thanks for copying that. Sakura has several kick-ass quotes , if the translation is accurate.

I do not think so. She just said to someone who loved someone else. The guy mentions this person she loves and she thinks about Sasuke. It is very clear that she loves Sasuke (or at least thinks she loves). In either case, the fact is that she not deserves Naruto.

Or... She just turned down LoverNin, who did not compare to her beloved Naruto.
Thinking of the loser made her remember Sasuke.

I suggest you need to calm down and leave before I send out the warnings. You popped up at EVERY single moment when something gone wrong with the pairing. And kept claiming the fact over such little detail that involved either SasuSaku and NaruHina and saying "NaruSaku is officially dead" without fully comprehend and interpret the scene/event because you're using your own bias without going throughly over the development process Kishimoto had just written.

If you like to abandon ship, please go right ahead. That's also applies to everyone else who are currently feeling the same way.

Guys, you're willingly misinterpreting if you somehow conclude she loves Sasuke as a friend; she likes the guy romantically, still, for some warped, insane reason. Whether her feelings are resolved, whether she also likes Naruto, whether SS/NS happens, admittedly that's still subjective and what-if, but it is canon she still is in love with Sasuke.
