I don't see were people get that neji's so fast. His eyes let him him see everything around him, but it doesn't let him read peoples attacks. Also it's probably a neji clone.

thats what im saying? i dont see how hes faster than sakura? maybe his hands but not his feat.

and like others are saying its most likely a neji clone cause he used kunai to kill those guys, and didnt even use byukugan(spelled it wrong) once

Unfortunately, Neji does have higher speed than Sakura.

Neji = 4.5
Sakura = 3

(according to the third databook).

But, Catsi is right about the point I was trying to make during Sakura's fight with Sasori. Its because of her high levels of evasion and reading attack patterns that she was able to keep up against the 100 puppets without any help with Chiyo (which Sakura herself said, "Use me as one of your puppets"). Not to mention when Chiyo was in a dangerous situation, Sakura took the fatal blow. (Which she had the antidote prepared in her gear whenever she faced that situation).

When has Sakura shown that she's more analytical than Neji?
And Neji was ignorant in that fight, not to mention that was in Normal. This is Shippuden, and he already outranks the majority of the other main characters.
And Sakura HELPED kill Sasori. Chiyo did most of the work. If Sakura had to fight Sasori one on one, she would've been murdered mercilessly.


Yes, but I'm saying if Neji vs. Sakura did happen.

We haven't seen Sakura have a major battle against anyone since she fought Sasori. I don't she obtains the same skill level she had back then. Its more believable than she has more likely improved her capabilities as a kunoichi back then. Just because we haven't seen her train doesn't mean she's still stuck in the mud. None of us can say who's definitely is gonna win because that battle hasn't started yet. However Sakura is the heroine of Naruto after all and we did here from Kishi that he was gonna up her role in whats to come so whether you like it or not, Sakura may defeat Neji in the possible battle. And remember Neji is just a side character who isn't a majorly important character in all of Naruto but does have his moments of spotlight like other characters of the rookie 9. This will probably be another spotlight moment for him however the circumstances are different and he appears to be the enemy in this situation. Who is to say that Sakura can't beat Neji? She has shown shear amount of determination just like Naruto and I personally believe that just defending Naruto is more than enough motivation to for Sakura to defeat Neji.

Remember not all the fights in Naruto is solely just based on skill, tactics and strategy. Remember Naruto's determination to protect Sakura from Gaara? It seemed like and impossible fight but yet with enough will he was able to thwart Gaara and the Shukaku. He put his life on the line for Sakura and without a doubt, Sakura will be willing to do the same for Naruto. This whole war they are in is to prevent Madara from claiming Naruto and Killer Bee after all so shes got what she needs to fight her enemy.

if it was a 1on1 fight im thinking that neji's chances without thinking about would be higher

but thats what everyone thought with naruto also. if we didnt actually see naruto defeat neji in that fight then we would always think he wouldnt have stood a chance cause....well.. it was naruto. lol and back then he didnt seem that impressive compare to neji

now thinking about sakura vs neji as of now we assume neji but if it was part of the story and sakura really did have to fight neji for the good of the medics then she would win.

so i guess i will go by that.

for one thing why is everyon automatically basing Nejis promotion to Jonin on his strength? A promotion of that type could easilly have been a comination of his base strength, techniques and his leadership abilities. If strength were the sole consideration then Naruto would obviously have been promoted to Hokage upon his defeat of Pein.

Second where is the evidence of Nejis Speed? Lee is faster then him and developed that speed to counter nejis techniques. No evidence at all shows in the Manga any thing involving Neji having superior speed. And no being a memeber of team Gai doesnt count.

Also in the Sakura vrs Sasori fight Sakura quickly adapted to Sasoris attack patterns and was dodging on ehr own with no help from Chiyo. In point of fact several times in the fight Kishimoto eliminated Chiyos ability to help Sakura entirely by virtue of either blocking her puppet arm, or engaging her with the 100 puppets where Chiyo had to concentrate on her 10.

Again Sakura held her own in that fight and the only thing Chiyo really trully did was end it. Simply put Sakura has as much a chance to beat Neji as anyone does and an even chance to beat anyone.

But as Pharix stated the real opponent most likely wont be Neji, itll be the Neji Clone/ zetsu clone if any.

one possibility is that Neji may still be mind controlled and if so may knock her out after the fight is over and Sakura has won. its something she wouldnt see coming.

No point in even thinking further than that in a fight not influenced by plot. Neji is also a better strategist than her, as has been said. He reached her level of efficiency in midst of battle almost three years ago.

Now don't get it twisted; Sakura's good. Just not as good as Neji.

So i came here to look at some more thoughts on this chapter and then i find out that there is a whole Sakura vs Neji war going on. Well you know what i have to say about that? Training. That's right TRAINING. How do you know that Sakura hasn't been leveling up her skills after the fight with Sasori. Do you guys think that all Sakura does is sit down all day and be lazy. NO that's shikamaru's job lol. I bet you that Sakura has something to show everyone one that she is just not for medical support. She is going to show us that she is also a hidden leaf ninja!

Also i think some of you are exaggerating the power of Neji. After all he couldn't even fight Kisame when he wasn't even close to full power. So how could he have taken on Sasori? Sakura on the other hand was able to beat him, and just because Chiyo was there too doesn't make it any less epic. Chiyo was just there simply because she knew more about Sosori's attacks and would give Sakura a great advantage if she was with her. Without Chiyo i still think that Sakura would have possibly won. Since she started to understand his attacks and was able to dodge them on her own and she was able to brake his body twice. Even Neji would have trouble if he tried to fight him alone.

He would probably need at least Lee and/or gai just to win. Trust me Neji is powerful and all but i truly think that if Sakura and Neji fought it would be a tied out battle. Now even if Neji will over power sakura it still doesn't mean she still has two very powerful jutsu: never give up no jutsu and Plot no jutsu. AKA no matter what Neji is going to be defeated or captured whether its from Sakura or not. Case closed

like i've been saying if sakura had to fight neji for the story to progress then she would probably win. if we are going off what they can do without the story to back them up, then i guess i'll side with neji until someone brings good points. though i wouldnt be so surprised if sakura was able to win a 1 on 1 fight, but who knows.

Really good chapter. I doubt that it will be the real Neji but if it were, Sakura would no doubt win. I really don't get were some of you are coming from with the Neji praise. Rank means absolutly nothing. Who is the most powerful ninja in Konoha(and one of the most powerful in the world?)? Yes Naruto, a simple genin. And Sakura already proved that she would be able to fight Neji when she defeated Sasori with Chiyo which was like ages ago. Just look at how much more powerful Naruto,Sasuke and Kakashi became after that arc. Sakura was just like them training all this time to become stronger, only difference is we didn't see her train.

About this chapter, if what the medic-nins were saying about how the purpose of this attack is to kill off the medics and that would cripple the alliance then Sakura will be the one to save them all. There is a kage level kunoichi hidden under the guise of a normal looking medical-nin. Most likely we will finally see Sakura deal with some high-level genjutsu.

Reach isn't everything, she's shorter with a lower center of gravity, has a punch that can kill with one blow, and is highly skilled in predicting a fighters next move... (see the fight with Sasori, and how she took out Pain's giant centipede summons with one blow- didn't see Neiji or any other Jonin for that matter do that...)

Neji is also a better strategist than her, as has been said.

By fans, not by Kishimoto. In fact it's Sakura's strategic abilities that Kishimoto has showcased- even way back in the Forest of Death when her taijutsu and ninjutsu was far less than Neiji or Lee's. Yet Sakura was able to hold out for some time against the Sound Ninja, and immediately came up with a new strategy when Kin had her immobilized by her hair.

In part 2 she out thought even Sai- a high level Root ninja when she chose to go after Sasuke alone. (and had prepared ahead of time for the eventuality, just like she planned ahead, and was able to shift strategies on a dime when she fought Sasori.) Neiji has an big weakness when it comes to switching strategies on a dime in a battle. On the other hand this is a strength of both Naruto and Sakura.

Sakura also has the benefit of being highly intelligent all around- she learns something and immediately can apply it to her benefit. According to the 3rd databook, Sakura is a whole level more intelligent than Neiji (and a half level more intelligent than Sai.)

EDIT: srr read to quickly and now I get you're point, but hasn't it been hinted before that the scanlaters are mostly NaruHina fans?

And when is Gaara going to show up last time I saw him he was about to fight his dad, and if I recall correctly that was just after/before Kakashi vs. the seven swordsmen of the mist which I believe is also not finished yet.

Whether it's Neji under some sort of mind control or a Zetsu Spore taking on the appearance of Neji is all up to speculation until further notice. But I believe that the Neji that killed those medics could still have access to his Hyuga Jutsus either way.

I say this because Zetsu Spores can copy the Chakra and personality of anyone Zetsu has touched, so that Zetsu Spore would have access to Neji's Jutsus. Not to mention that if Neji was under some sort of mind control he'd still have access to his Jutsu's, the only difference is that him being under the will of someone else would determine whether he uses his Jutsu or not.

I think the reason as to why Neji used Kunai to kill those medics instead of the Gentle Fist and Byakugan to find Sakura is because if he used any Jutsu, it would emit Chakra which would automatically be picked up by Chakra Sensory Type Ninjas, thus jeopardizing the mission to weaken the Allied Shinobi Forces by killing their medics. It would make strategical sense to refrain from using Chakra to kill off medics in order to remain stealthy and not get caught by Chakra Sensors.

Agreed, I don't know why people are arguing over this. With the exception of Naruto, almost all training in this series takes place off-panel, so everyone's basically just basing their opinions on old fights. Neji was obviously superior in Part I, but Sakura obviously improved over the time-skip. And it's never been said that Neji is a better strategist than anyone, so I don't know where people are getting that.
So, as I stated earlier, if they were to fight, the outcome would be based on the motivation behind the fight. And, of course, Sakura has Plot no Jutsu on her side.

Awesome, but i heard that mangastream is not biased, but it seems they have some pro naruhina fans. That is so sad cause we lost one precious moment, cause it was downgraded.
Sentence "i already have someone i like" really has impact but unfinished sentence has no real impact.
Does anyone know who else is making translations for naruto manga. I tried to find Sleepy fans translations but couldnt find, so can anyone tell me is there any other translation.
