And another thing, according to the official site, apparently Kishi recommended Higashiyama to Pierrot. I think this pretty much says like this:

Kishi: Since you guys suck balls at story-telling, here's my man. Follow his every order. GOT THAT??!!

So, yup, this has Kishi's hands all over it.

Great description - it's about time that Kishi started saying something about Pierrot's treatment of his series.

Now if only he could say something about the way that the actual series is being written/animated than it would be even better.

And as for the battle of sexy no jutsus between Naruto and Konohamaru - I think Konohamaru is still traumatized from watching Sakura beat up Naruto at their reunion scene to even dare and try do a Sakura-sexy no jutsu.

Like Ciardha said, I mistook the novalized version title thing, for the title of the movie. Just a misunderstanding. Though I still believe Sakura will play a huge role in this movie, after all this movie takes place around the time when Naruto and Sakura's relationship starts to bloom.

Well there isn't much in Lost Tower in fact they completely degraded Rasenshuriken in it. I DID NOT like that at all but The princess was another another new favorite of mine for Naruto's non canon fan girls group ( girls from the filler arcs and movies that came to admire or develop a crush on him)

^^ Well, why wouldn't they, he's good-looking, funny, and powerful at the same time and the best part of it is that he can used that non-canon fan girls group as leverage to try to get Sakura jealous which means that she's going have to do something big for him, like I don't know, bust him out of prison for something he was wrongfully accused of.

Btw, i know the two points are not entwined with each other, but i keep saying that someone needs to do something big to push this relationship to the next level, this is obviously something big.

Okay, so Blood Prison came out on 7/30, from what I've read, so I assume that plenty of Japanese fans have seen it already (according to my iPod, it's 7:00 am on 7/31 in Tokyo right now). I usually don't like to see spoilers before I can see a properly subbed version, but I'm not quite sure I can wait till next spring, considering some of the art we've seen for the novelization, LOL.

I haven't seen any spoilers floating around Internet yet, but I did check the Japanese Wikipedia page. I translated it in Google Chrome, but I guess I still don't understand most of it. It doesn't look like there's any spoilers yet, but I did notice that Chie Nakamura (Sakura's seiyu) is third highest on the cast list, and higher than any other female seiyu. I'm not sure if that means anything, but I hope it's a good sign .

Also, the Japanese Wikipedia page mentions that 'Shippuden' isn't included in the title. I'm not sure why, but I wonder if has to do with the anime team not being involved. That'd be nice if that was true. Maybe that means Hinata won't be in it, ha ha. But we'll see, I'm sure someone will hear something about this movie in the next few weeks.

Here's a new trailer that was uploaded today on youtube, with some new scenes in it. Don't know if anyone's already seen this, I couldn't find a better quality one either.

No new scenes with Sakura though, sadly.

Still, I really hope that a leaked version will come out >_< I can't wait to see this movie!!

And Boom, that's an interesting point, that Shippuden not in the title so the normal anime team may not be involved in this.

It usually does correspond to the character's importance to the story, so quite possibly yes

The order goes:

Naruto
Kirabi
Sakura
Kakashi
Tsunade

Then the filler characters...

Oh and Studio Pierrot is animation studio still, but what I got from that page is that the scriptwriter is not a regular Studio Pierrot employee so that's why Shippuden is not part of the title. It also mentions at the bottom of the page that Kishimoto did some storyboarding for this movie- in other words he likely did a basic story outline with all the canon characters, letting the animators do what they wanted with the filler characters for the story. We know he did something very similar with the writer of the novel of the movie.
