Try, backing up my point with manga canon, thus Sakura is older. Debate over.

And pink hearts, yellow stars you are wise not to trust the American fan created Naruto wikis. Take a look at any entry and you'll find things that totally contradict manga canon- the entry on Shikaku Nara has a quite laughable complete contradiction of the character's canon stated preferences in women. It says "Shikaku, like Shikamaru doesn't like strong willed women." I about fell out of my chair laughing.

Because it's a need for some people on this site like Nate said. And I'm getting tired of it. Even as if we try to not bash anymore some of our own rhetoric is coming off as pompous and entitled.

EDIT: I know it's harsh to say, but I'm just getting tired of coming on this site and having others act like they're better for pointing out errors or think a certain way. Try going to the NS debate thread and have the same arguement every 5 pages of what Sakura does that Hinata doesn't or what the rest of the fanbase does. This whole Kushina arguement we've been having about who she looks like more, I been involved in too, but I feel we've been more focused on that instead of the purpose of what Kushina will say or why.how is she here now? I understand we're the NaruSaku fan club but aren't we Naruto fans too?

Will this be a mini cycle on the Whirlpool village, or will the story of Minato and Kushina be in Minato Gaiden? Will we be diverted for an answerpaloza or have just a simple talk?

Insurrection, to address somewhat inappropriately worded question, there is debate and there is conflict. I do not avoid debate, debate is a learning experience. I believed that Naruto is older than Sakura for several reasons, my reasoning states that Naruto failed the academy exam 2 times previously, but you state that schooling is different however that can be countered as well as the schooling in the world of Kishimoto is also the possibility of being derived of his own design, even if one knows school from their own experience it is possible that Kishi could create his own version.

Another conclusion to Naruto's age could be in his height as the change in stature was noticable for Naruto being the shortest, height is also no indication of an age, there are people both younger and older who are taller or shorter. I'll point to Ino as another example.

Ino gives the impression of being Sakura's mentor as a child in which Sakura feels overshadowed by Ino as a genin, Ino was born in September and therefore has a higher probability of being older than both Sakura and Naruto. If Ino is in fact older then Sakura and not Naruto then she would be in the class of Team Guy. Because they were the graduating class the year before.

However ultimately the arguement of age is meaningless for both of us, if there is no CANON proof of who is the elder then we could be both right and we can be both wrong. I state that he's older you state she's older therefore it is ultimately a hopeless issue until something is brought up in the manga or anime. Like Jiraiya saying something about dating older women.

So our debate/arguement is nonetheless useless and will be forgotten in a week.

Come on guys, who cares who is older than who? If it was meant to be important in the story Kishimoto would have made it more obvious. Since it wasn't important, it can just be left to your own judgment. Naruto and Sakura can't be siblings because Sakura has mentioned that her parents annoyed her back in part I and Naruto obviously has no parents alive. ...For some reason his family likes to hang out in his subconscious

I was being a bit facetious when I said that.

I suppose that could be part of it, but I think its mostly that pairings are as about defeating rival fandoms and their pairings as they are about supporting your own.

I just can't help but smirk because Naruto was able to give the Kyuubi a run for his money getting hit by the giant rasengan. Yet Sasuke barely defeated the eight tails with Amaterasu when he was all beat up and worn out, in addition that Taka was almost beat up to death.
