You know what? As sad as it is, I think this is going to be great. Kishi said "I'd love it it if everyone could stick with it until the very end.. I plan to wrap up Naruto conclusively, so please look forward to it" and I will. I really think these last chapters are going to bring out my child self, the one who fell in love with and was influenced so heavily by this manga so long ago. I remember seeing commercials for Naruto on Cartoon Network as a kid and thinking, "this show looks so stupid and annoying," and then one night I sat and watched it and was hooked (kinda like Sakura with Naruto.. hehe  ).
 
Many people like to talk crap and complain, but deep down, I believe this manga has some sort of place in all of our hearts, otherwise we wouldn't be here. Let's enjoy it! Afterwards, he can finally take his wife on their honeymoon. Thank you for this amazing ride, Kishi-sensei!

It is going to leave a hole in my heart.....Though the mangs ends, Naruto will always be remembered. This showbhas influenced me heavily and I have learnt many many things through this....Just five words "Arigato...Naruto and Kishi-sensei" A half hearted smile and pretending to be strong...

No joke. I remember when the commercials first came out for the show. I was sleeping over my old best friend's house... I was all, "PSH... haha...yeah that looks stupid. I'd never watch this crap!".... look where I am now. Obsessed.

 

END THIS KISHI AND BRING SOME NARUSAKU CLOSURE ALREADY! 

Even IF there's no shipping closure, I want to feel at least okay about the ending.

LOL it's funny I found it stupid at first too. Then I fell in love with this little shrimp with yellow hair. It's funny.

 

I have to be honest, I really don't understand, right now, how Kishi will end all this. But I will wait the end to judge the manga as a whole. I think there is no need to bash it now before we've seen it.

 

I'm also sad to hear it will end soon. I love this manga. Naruto touched me, I just love him. This manga is like Sailor moon or XxxHolic to me. It's a manga that deeply touched me.

That's why I don't really want to see it end. But an end is needed for everything.

It's funny also, all this is coming when I'm getting separated with my boyfriend after 13 years together... it's kind of hard...

 

Well, we should appreciate every chapter that's left from now on. Because it will be a very few of chapters.

 

If Kishi somehow decide to do a third part, then I hope it will not be a weekly release. It will be hard to wait, because I really had my routine with Naruto manga LOL but with a monthly release, Kishi would have more time. But seriously, I don't think Kishi wants to do a third part. I think the third part will be done by the anime team. I'm fearing they will do something weird like in all the fillers. I don't really like when anime teams take liberties from the mangaka's work. I prefer the author's work in general.

 

Well... we'll see.

IMO, it's already done on Kishi's part.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to say there is 39 pages. It's precise.

It's such a bittersweet ending. Right as I am in the midst of applying for colleges and ending my childhood, Naruto comes to an end. My childhood dies with Naruto and it was enough to bring me, a 17 year old male, to tears. I haven't cried in 5 years, but I cried today. It just hurt. I grew up with Naruto. I grew up with this stupid troublesome kid that just wanted a friend.

In a way, I was his friend and he was mine. I never thought that I would cry over a fictional character or series, but here I am now. I learned so much from this series that I wouldn't be even similar to the person I was today without it.

It hurts to see it ending, I would give so much for it to continue, but alas, all good things come to an end.

Oh well, life goes on. It's been a great series and a great childhood. I think Kishi will end it just right, he has been planning this ending forever now, that I doubt it will just fizzle out (at least I hope!).

Sasuke has always a more important character than Naruto. I mean the plot of part 2 was getting Sasuke back.

Wow this changes things. The thought of 5 remaining chapters appears as if though it will end with the fight then continue onto the movie. I really hope there's more to it than that and the chapters are in some way extended. 

 

Can he genuinely wrap up the series and all its plot strands on the side in one fell swoop? I find this so hard to eat to the point where I tell myself this news must be untrue. But I know I should wait for the manga to end officially before I make such allegations because Kishi might actually pull a rabbit out of the hat. Still...

 

I mean, my profile pic reminds me, what happens to Yamato and all the other forgotten entities? Are they going to continue being lost causes?

Honestly don't care if this fight is rushed it didn't need to happen anyway. I just want Sasuke to be "kinda" good again and for Naruto to be happy. Glad to see we'll be getting an extra chapter though. It'll probably lead up to The Last. 

 

Also probably won't see any pairings until The Last. Hope I'm wrong though.

Lol I said that joke a while ago. Bunch of guys that associated with Kaguya are gathering up and all they need left is Sakura to enter. After all, Team 7 is the fault for her.
