Speaking of crack pairings.

Apparently they created some sort of weird love triangle between Gaara, Sasuke, and Sakura during the stage play. During curtain calls the three are always flirting going by some tweets. (Well, Sasuke and Gaara fight over Sakura.)  I can sort of understand why they would fanservice SS but wth at Gaara. So damn random.

That wouldn't be biologically possible. But since the whiskers shouldn't be genetic as well, I wouldn't be surprised if Bolt and Himawari are able to use Kurama's power

Do people just like to argue? Does the end pairing affect some people's enjoyment of the show so much? Are shipping wars really chances for people to wage cultural wars through another medium? I somewhat answer this in my LAP, but in short, I wish I knew why. I don't get into pairing war, but I will comment on it. I look at it and I always see it backtracking, so I didn't bother wasting my time. As I have said in a joking manner, one day they will hate the series, but the next, they love it because of pairing. It can said vice versa, but there are stories that solely build on it, friendship or romance. The irony is that they could have escape this huge mess (though still a mess) if they never acknowledge NS in the movie, which they did. Because of that, that means they are well aware of it and made the worst excuse that anyone can possibly imagine.

 

This is why it's best to get away from love triangle, especially if you can't write well at it. Go simple or go home.

pfff!!! Well I just read on another site that apparently Lady Chiyo said that Sakura had a man's resolve, and that rarely had she seen a woman with as much fighting spirit as a man. I don't remember it now, but I should've noticed it back then. I also remember that Jiraiya told 12 year old Konan that she should "call him" when she turns 18. That is pure pedokitten right there!

Eh they are a whole variety of reasons for it. For one thing, some fans think that their ship is ideal to them and feel insecure when it's threatened. Other factors could be following the crowd, or just plain trolling. There are also other reasons that are not coming to my head right now but it's a broad subject so the answer isn't simple

When you get invested in a specific pairing in fandom, you tend to start to dislike the opposing side. Especially concerning a long running series like Naruto where people have been shipping for years, things can turn ugly. In most cases while they may genuienly enjoy their OTP on their own, wanting to be 'right' in the end can motivate bashing/ship  wars.
