Lol, they made a cover for Long Kiss Goodbye, which was a romantic ending in Naruto Shippuden. Guess who was featured on it image.jpg

Now this is what I like. Some HAPPY faces unlike the new CD one.

Can you just stop and think maybe its not marketing? 

 

Can you stop and think maybe not jump to conclusions without knowing anything? BC right now we know nothing. I mean before this people thought Hinata was pregnant and that turned out not to be true. 

 

There are many kinds of love. 

 

For all we know this song is about Hinata's love for Naruto. It certainly looks that way illustrated. If this was to be looked at in a positive way. There would be a smile on Hinata or Naruto's face. They would be facing each other. The CD cover has a romantic atmosphere but the participants in it are not depicted in a romantic light. It looks like a very sad scene, irony at it's finest.

 

If this is a triangle movie where Naruto must choose between Hinata and Sakura, then yes there will be a rejection scene and this could be about Hinata's love for Naruto but she accepts that he'll never love her as much as she loves him.

I have a question to all the ones who believe the love song could be sad and about rejection (which is not the case according to the interview): 

Why would they put an emphasis on NH rejection in the ending song (though I'm not sure if it's the ending song), if the movie end on NS??? That's so wierd, no really it makes no sense to put another couple on the foreground but not the main one, the one who happened at the end of the movie. 

 Is the cd just that one song? Because it's just the cover of it right? Did they say it was supposed to represent the ending song specifically? Because yea you're right. It would be pretty bad if they used a picture of Naruto and Hinata to represent a happy love song. 

 

If anything, the picture doesn't have to represent a rejection. It could just represent, as others have pointed out, Hinata's love for Naruto and how she continuously follows in his footsteps.

You said it yourself you don't know if it's the ending song so why even bring that up? We still don't know much of anything about the plot of the movie..

Okay I love Hinata and all, but why in the heck would you put her over like a Sasuke or something on the freaking CD COVER? Ridiculous to consider this cover anything more than just a marketing reach or NaruHina fan crying for attention.

Might have been harsh but is it more harsh to leave someone thinking that there is still a chance for romance there or to end it so she/he can move on? Its like letting someone waste their life away when she could either be chasing someone else who truly cares for her or even just living out her life for herself.

 

About Sakura's confession, I'm not really seeing any implied feelings there at all. All he does is call her getting over Sasuke a lie. In fact the whole time he either looks confused or serious. The only time he looks sad is when he talks about understanding Sasuke. I'm not saying that the confession implies that he doesn't have feelings for Sakura and vice versa, that's why I don't like him for it. It's vague as hell and implies nothing except that he still only cares for Sasuke.

 

Sure Naruto's main priority right now is Sasuke but how does that even affect or prevent his romantic life at all? In fact if that's the case why doesn't he just use that as an excuse to Hinata for why they can't be together.

 

And for speculation why does he need to handle Sasuke before going with Sakura anyways? He's already proven that he can keep promises, and the LOI arc established that her promise doesn't factor in anymore. But then of course we have 693 where he references the promise to Kakashi and of course in real life this doesn't make any sense because denying a romance because of your mancrush on another guy would never happen at all... Do you see what I mean by horrible writing.   

 

To begin with, everyone has their own interpretation of good and bad writing, and I honestly can't say that I find Kishi's writing bad, sorry to say. Others agree with me. But I totally respect and understand your opinion and feelings. 

 

In terms of the confession, Sakura kind of does bring up Naruto's feelings for her in the heat of the moment. She says something like, "Look, if you don't like me it's fine," and continues trying to persuade him to return with her. If memory serves, he either says "It's not that," or doesn't address that bit at all, which means that he does acknowledge his feelings for her. 

 

To a certain extent, yes, I agree that it's not fun to be led on like that. However, in this case, everything is different. Naruto has been running around a lot since that time, and, as I said, he hasn't had, based on what we can see in the manga, a proper opportunity to converse with Hinata, so there would be no moment for them to discuss what happened, I think. 

 

Naruto takes all his commitments seriously. He knows that romance can wait, especially because of the girls with whom it's involved. There are more pressing matters that need to be handled. He's set on his way, and he doesn't want to give up. That includes his promise to Sakura. Sakura may have released him from it, but he's so dedicated to her and Sasuke, that he hasn't forgotten. 

 

That's what I think, anyway.

The song doesn't necessarily have to be about Naruto and Hinata's love for each other, but Hinata's love for Naruto. It's a good example if they are trying to make a cute love song, tbh. The only other confirmed loves in this story is Sakura to Sasuke (and we all know how that's going) and Naruto to Sakura. If this song were to apply to both Naruto and Hinata, wouldn't they be happy instead of walking behind each other with blank expressions? Think about it. A cover has a lot to tell about a song.

While I'd be lying if I said this didn't bother me (it's pretty darn annoying and disappointing actually), I still don't Kishi will throw away an entire series of development, foreshadowing, and parallels (from JirTsu, ObiRin, MinaKushi, Tsunade's forehead kisses, actual development, Sakura being the only person in the "love triangles" to show a change in feelings for Naruto ect.) and make NH canon out of nowhere for a movie. No matter how bad this seems we should try to stay positive. For all we know his could just be one side, and the other side has Naruto and Sakura. Or like a lot of people are saying, it could very well be a rejection. There's also the possibility that SP just added in a NH subplot to the movie besides Kishi's actual story. They tried to overload RTN with Hinata too and Kishi had to stop them. Maybe he just didn't this time for added drama. Drama=$.

maybe is not rejection is just talking about whatever they talk or maybe that scene does not exist in the movie.

 

if naruto does not love sakura anymore kishi must show us in the manga because NS bond is important
