Personally I agree that it is going to be Sasuke vs. Naruto and then Hashirama vs. Madara. However, what may happen is Madara defeats Hashirama, and then Naruto convinces Sasuke to team up with him against a weakened Madara.

Now as for the pairing debate. I agree that there is a possibility that NaruHina could happen, however I believe that NaruxSaku has a better chance for a couple of reasons. First off Sakura acts very strangely whenever it comes to Naruto in part 2. When she meets Naruto for the first time after the part 1 part 2 gap she admires his height and while blushing admires something else which I think we can agree is his attractiveness. Then during the Gaara retrieval arc she is very protective when it comes to Naruto including asking Chiyo if a Tailed beast could be removed and admitting that she was worried not for Gaara but for Naruto. Third, after Kabuto talks down about how far Naruto will go for Sasuke, she runs full tilt to Naruto in his tailed beast form, then after being attacked wishes she could do more for him, and Yamato then hints at her having deeper feelings for Naruto. Finally, Kushina told Naruto to pick a girl who is like her. Kushina did not like Minato at first, was always punching him in the face, had one heck of a temper, and thought Minato was useless and pathetic. Sakura hated Naruto at first, is always punching Naruto, has one heck of a temper, and thought Naruto was useless and pathetic. Anyone see a pattern here? Kushina fell in love with Minato when she realized that he has always been there for her. Throughout the whole series Naruto has had Sakura's back.

-Now the biggest point of contention when it comes to NaruXSaku is of course the confession. Some people believe that Sakura was lying when she said she loved Naruto. However, after looking at all the facts I have to disagree. Kishimoto had an interview in 2010 where he said two things. One that Sakura still loves Sasuke. However, he also said that he was portraying a stubborn and HONEST woman when writing the confession chapter. When you add this to the fact that in the databook, Sakura's description includes, "is still sorting out her feelings for Naruto," you can't deny that there is a strong possibility that she is in love with Naruto.

Finally here is what we know for sure=

-Naruto has admitted his love for Sakura to Sai

-Hinata has confessed her love to Naruto but received no reaction

-Sakura has confessed that She loves Naruto more than Sasuke. Naruto does not believe her

-Sasuke has always ignored Sakura's affection and has tried to kill her. Not to mention the darkness that has consumed him

-Sakura has not denied Loving Naruto

After considering it all, I think that Sakura has feelings for both Naruto and Sasuke which is why Naruto does not accept her confession. Also, I think the last part of Sakura's development is she either realizes that Naruto has always been there for her and truly cares about her happiness, or Sasuke is redeemed and then she realizes that for whatever crazy reason that Sasuke is the one she has always wanted. In my opinion, Naruto is not going to hook up with Sakura unless she finally believes 100 % that he is the one for her. That being said I think the Team 7 reunion and even her thinking of Sasuke during the war reinforces this theory because she states that her Dream is not Sasuke, but to see Team 7 smile again. Also when she thinks of Sasuke there is a troubled look on her face meaning that she is definitely starting to see the person he has become and showing the inner struggle between her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto.

Either way Hinata is a good character who has a strong character development. The only problem I have with NaruxHina is the lack of development between Naruto and Hinata. Hinata has been in the background until the Pain arc where she made her confession to Naruto. Later however, after Neji dies she slaps him in the face and then holds his hand. Now as for the Hinata development with Naruto, this could change depending on what Kishimoto decides to do towards the end. The problem is with the pain sacrifice, If Naruto hates people who lie to themselves and made his feelings for Sakura clear all the way in Part 1, why did he not answer Hinata after she was revived? As for the hand holding, Neji had been a close friend of Naruto's being one of the Konoha eleven and helping him during the Sasuke retrieval arc. After he died Naruto was shaken and Hinata "helped" him. However, if you look at the manga, it was the Nine-tailed foxe's words that actually made him feel better. http://www.onemanga....o_manga/615/13/ As for the hand-holding, he also held hands with Ino, Choji, etc. The bottom line is the only one who promised not too let go was hinata because Naruto was only tranferring Chakra.

All things aside, NaruxHina is totally possible because Hinata has always loved Naruto, I just think that there is more evidence to the contrary. Both sides make valid points and bring good evidence to the table. I can't wait to see how Naruto ends but it comes with a price as this will likely be the end of the Naruto series as a whole.

Agreed. To be honest I don't feel that Hinata is really as much of a threat as people think she is. It all hinges on two things, whether Sakura finally decides what her feelings really are and what happens between Naruto and Sasuke's battle.

He will have to spend so much time into explaining and wrapping up NS, it will take a while if he wants to screw up as little as possible. I think it will end before summerbreak, 2015.

Something interesting i found out. Vizmedia is as pro-hina as it is anti-saku.

The introduction of Sakura goes like this (in the translation that i own) :

"Sakura Haruno I total babe I like."

Isn`t it funny how they made Sakura the eye-candy for Naruto while they once again put Hinata on a pedestal. Especially since we know that his love is much deeper than "Shes a babe". And he even calls her that multiple times in the first 6 volumes "babe, hot stuff etc." Da fq is wrong with these people.

Kinda makes me curious how Viz will translate the chapter that NS will become canon (overconfident... probably not ). Will they try to make Sakura look bad with vicious qoute's, or actually do a translation that fits the moment.

Where did this notion of Viz being Pro-Hina/Anti-Saku? It honestly doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

If Kishi is serious about NH, doing it now would still give it too little space and it would still be rushed, it is impossible this late in the series to develop it without doing harm to the story and other characters, even their roles. If hinata is somehow more important, she needs to be developed to a certain point she does not interfere with team 7, mainly sakura, not for pairings but in terms of importance. Team 7 is the only group of characters focusing on the climax, the naruto vs sasuke fight is the climax, hinata has no reason or validity here.

I agree with this, just NaruSaku does have a lot of time over NH, its like 8-10 years of development vs barely 2. Most of the chapters over this time span are Naruto and well Sakura, development and impacts on each other. Naruto and Hinata is much smaller.

Its just that this late, with the end of the world, unless kishi decided to extend it, it would be hard to follow new plots after this fate of the world type business, epspecially when the stuff after the victory over the ten tails is a new age of peace, how do you keep it going after the strongest thing in a fictional universe is defeated?

If NH is canon coming forward with the big plot points, it would still be hardly developed and rushed, not spaced out like NaruSaku, no questions. Otherwise to give it validity, thats risking a lot of damage to the story unless he extends it. One thing NaruSaku has over NH is development, not rushed, its well paced, and both have major development points on naruto and sakura, too many moments to list in one go.

There translations seem abit odd... at least when i compare it to mangapanda. Maybe I'm wrong, but they seem to make Sakura more like eye-candy when i read chapter three. The one I read from Mangapanda was provided through Narutobase ( could be where my problem is), but they use " a girl im interested in" (portion of the text bubble, not just this) instead of "Sakura Haruno a total babe I like."

Maybe its just culture differences and i'm taking this the wrong way, but i prefer the mangapanda one over the Viz.

I feel like maybe Naruto was more upset that Sakura had given up on Sasuke just like everyone else. I mean Naruto himself was an outcast and having team seven saved him from loneliness.
I think Naruto is right though, Sakura didn't WANT to kill Sasuke because she didn't love him anymore...she did it to protect Naruto......I don't think he could begin to wrap his mind around the fact that MAYBE she wants to protect him because she's starting to have stronger feelings for him then what she had for Sasuke.

The reason I consider this, is the statement she makes after the Naruto Sasuke die together speech...(chapter 486) Just after this she has an internal dialog about how she is still the weak one of the team and was supposed to change I.e. being the one to shoulder the pain of killing their teammate in place of Naruto. We then see her entrust belief back in BOTH of them 1st Naruto WILL save Sasuke ....2nd Sasuke has good deep down enough that he won't kill Naruto resulting in a loss of both teammates.

"Thank you Naruto...for everything...I still believe there can be a happy ending for everyone on team seven".(ch 487)
She simply doesn't want either of her teammates to die. I don't see her fangirling because she may get "Sasuke-kun" back.
This doesn't imply romance, simply a longing for their carefree childhood bonds, but they are adults now and things are complicated...I think you could push and use it as a metaphor on how certain feelings have caused complications in Sakuras once easy to read romantic leanings.

I would guess that cultural differences has to do with the "total babe" line. It could also be that they were trying to appear "hip" to the young crowd. Let's not forget that Naruto was still a relatively young manga when it came out in the states.
