Also, do people ship NejiHina romantically??  I never really saw it as a possibility because they're really close cousins. I dunno 

There is a fanbase that is more into that than NH. The third party like anime and others seem to support it, but yeah, Kishi go and ax him off. It's like an unintentional killing off a love triangle (that fans most likely thought when shopping HN) to have NH canon. Strange concept...

Hashirama surpassed Madara, Naruto surpassed madara, neither of them had a Rinnegan. Sasuke was becoming irrelevant, and the brother garbage was meant to bring him back in the loop. Literally he stopped developing after Itachi's death, his role was done. He only got EMS to keep close with Naruto, and the brother thing was a forced way to keep him close to Naruto. The Juubi looking at Naruto and seeing Hagoromo and the Rinnegan was dead proof that Naruto was meant to be the sole successor, and that the brother bullsh** was a late hash to keep Sasuke involved in the story. He was unjustly handed all this power yet he was absolutely useless against Kaguya, and Naruto had to be nerfed in their final fight and Sasuke had to use all of the Bijuu and he still couldn't beat Naruto.

His eyes were said to surpass Madara's. So did you literally skip the Hokage Talk and his reunion with Itachi? The Sage is always shown with his Rinnegan and it just could have meant that he has the body of the sage not the eyes. If Naruto kept the Biuji and Sasuke was equal to him than that would mean Sasuke was stronger as the Bijui DONT belong to Naruto, they were going to leave him after and Kishi wants to keep them equals so. Saying Sasuke was handled ll his power is pure BS he worked for them and, useless against Kaguya?

Are you referring to the Rock Lee spin-off? ...I haven't seen it. But I was told the series was just a comedy Parody.

They may have taken Neji's protectiveness for Hinata to great extremes for the comic relief. That's just my assumption though.

 

However,  if it's true that NejiHina has a bigger fanbase than NaruHina in JP...Then I don't blame them, because at least Neji acknowledged Hinata's existance and feelings way before his unnecessary demise and the Retcons.

Anime in general. Filler wise. But SD (both form but more on anime) pretty emphasis on HN, especially how Neji wanted a movie to be Romeo and Juilet with Hinata as Juilet. It's strangely ironic with Kishi cares for the fans, popularity and all, yet he done this to piss off Neji and HN fans. I guess he followed mainly western fans. Who knows.

Rock Lee spin of beside being a parody. Is actully very IC. You do get some "rofl" moments. Tho it's sad when a parody feels like canon. While canon fells like a parody.

Sasuke meeting the Hokage was just as trash as the whole brother thing. Once again, that right belonged to Naruto. The Hokage's caused as much damage (actually more, really) to Naruto's life as they did Sasuke, yet they barely offered Naruto any words. Sasuke's role ended after Itachi's death, but people wanted to see him more, this we got more. The only thing visible behind Naruto was the eyes, it had nothing to do with the body. Sasuke didn't work for anything once he got the MS and was handed everything after. His whole reason for obtaining the EMS was that he felt inferior to Naruto after meeting him at the bridge, Sasuke hadn't been stronger since before Naruto got Sage mode.

No, Naruto's Sage chakra is literally sage chakra. The Bijuu were separate from that.

Yes - links can definitely be posted here and in the other threads. Either cross-referencing new content, or linking to other threads for bigger discussions. I'll try to keep up with them till we get back in the habit of having multiple threads again, but other members certainly can as well.

 

Nothing's truly off limits in the discussion thread.... I can just see the storm clouds on the horizon of Sakura's novel, the BS, the new series.... And we should make use of the extra threads now that things are picking back up again. (Just like we did when Naruto was still normal and not a sham.)

 

This thread should just be the safest zone for those of us still with ptsd and don't want to be swamped in BS!
