I think some of you might be misunderstanding my post. I'm not saying that people should think of Naruto as the lover instead of the best friend, I'm saying that I'm angry because people use Naruto being one of Sakura's best friends (the other being Ino) as an excuse to say that he can't also fulfill the role of lover, therefore that role must go to Sasuke.
 
That's why I said that it's like spitting in the face of all those couples who consider each other best friends. Those who commented are basically saying that if two people are best friends then there's no way they can become lovers, which is complete bullsh**.

Yeah, I know. But then again, that best friend wants a new level of bond with her. So yeah, I think they're reading it wrong. In fact, they got it right, but it's not Sakura they're naming it. It's Naruto. Then you can fill in best friend and lover. You're welcome.

Let's move all future SasuKarin discussion to the Official SasuKarin Thread. It was requested and made for this very purpose.

 

As for the sniping and impolite nature, knock it off. I'm not going back through and pointing fingers, just reminding everyone to engage in fair, courteous debate. Especially as the pairing strife is not likely to end soon.

 

Outside pairing is okay to be discussed here, just as long as it ties back to NS.

Fine everyone has their own opinions and interpretations, and I have seen more than enough SS excuses, I still stand by my point that it's the most disgusting pairing. End of discussion.

I'm sure they know that bestfriends can be lovers. So they resort to calling them 'siblings' instead.

That way, the romance road is blocked, which must be very comforting for antis.

 

Which is even more of a fail since the "siblings" are Naruto and Sasuke. That's a canonical statement said by both characters.

Well at this point in the story, when people keep ignoring ns or just brushing it off as nothing, I'm suprised people never take into consideration Kishi has had millions of opportunities and choices to progress the story, even in 631 and 662 he could as easily just had minato meet hinata or simply not done the Kushina reference and likewise just have made tsunade go with naruto instead of sakura, people keep saying its Kishi stirring the fandom. It's not him messing around, it's just his intent, I mean these chapters have to be made at least 3 to 5 weeks in advance, maybe even longer. It was sad the news of his father passing away on jan18th came, but I'm just saying his intent to have a near death experience for naruto and Sasuke most likely occurred weeks or possiblity even a couple months ahead before his fathers passing, just a misfortunate release time for the chapter with that news coming around. But as I said, if kishis intent has been showing constantly in the past couple years, I mean many said the edo hokage was an asspull, well when kabuto told obito how edo tensei worked and that the hokage could not be reached, it was only saying that they couldn't be pulled out by conventional use of the technique, nothing was said about it being fully impossible. Itachis words to naruto about the one who becomes hokage, naruto has the right reasons because everyone accepts him, Sasuke thinks it's just a position of power others must listen too and respect, this is why naruto will be the real winner in the last battle. I mean we are still waiting to see sasukes real intent and that birthday present of narutos minato said a while back. There's a lot popping up in chapters from more recent and long ago events. I mean hey hinatas hand holding thing came true, nothing else designating her out from the rest exists right now to possibly come. I mean if anything it was how she said she wants to be by his side and well,shikamaru said that too like many others. If anything that was also something Kishi planned, but it seems more plans go on ns involvement at this point.

Really I still see people claiming fandom size as a legimeate excuse for nh going canon or that they somehow know the work of the book better than the author. It's just, no no no, if anything all these hopes and claims with nh and SS being bigger or more important and ns is just something to be ignored fully, just no. It makes no sense. Kishi had millions of ways to write the chapters, last chapter he could have planned months ago just to have gaara bypass the medical stuff fully and just go to the destination. But he got sakura in this for a reason, a reason we will see beyond just medical ninjutsu, yes in once sense she is needed to keep him alive. But many fans said, "why would Kishi use her if the result is naruto still dies? Is kishis just giving ns fans a bone or teasing everyone with hinata tripping?" No just no, this is the view I see so much over the recent event and it's such a bland one I just cannot stomach it anymore.

-hinatas trip was showing one part desperation to see naruto and another part drama, mainly drama, she wants to reach him but cannot because she is worn out of her own energy, it's that simple, no overblown love, no deeper meaning or notable foreshadows for nh, asking neji to protect him could mean we may have a spritiual event for naruto and Sasuke next chapter where they go into a limbo to see those important to them who died like jiraya and itachi, but for anything else, just no. It's a nh moment but not much directly foreshadowing nh itself. We know hinata loves naruto at this point, it's just I wish Kishi didn't play her like a broken record.

- sakura going with naruto has a reason beyond just trying to heal/keep him alive. It would be kinda pointless to include her for a simple reason because she has low energy to try and address an event that is basically a one way ticket to hell for naruto. Many fans need to think why did Kishi signal out sakura for this despite there being no known ways to stop a jinchurki death after extraction since it results in the same fate for all jinchurki save the ten tails. Why did he choose sakura despite the low energy in a situation that she can only slow down, not fix?

-sakura is his teammate, easiest reason
-sakura is the only one aside from Kakashi and naruto who learned of what happens to a jinchurki after extraction (as far as screentime goes, many other characters in universe are aware of this fact but when it comes to association with naruto, it was sakura who had the emotional reaction to this)
-her role is both simply for the physical aspect of trying to keep naruto alive but also for that "other reason" we have yet to see.

I'm not betting on a simply she gives up her life for naruto, otherwise this would defeat the purpose of gaaras instructions, I mean seriously this is why I say the sakura gives her life for naruto is outright stupid, if it could be done then wouldn't gaara have said do any of you know chiyos technique? Couldn't they have just done it right there by tsunade and shizune? It would defeat the purpose of the travel to what kurama told gaara. Sakura has a reason to be with naruto right now and not just as some simple 1up for him as many think, it's nit nessessary for her chakra control either, it has to be something else.

Not to interrupt, but there is a thread specifically for posting NaruSaku art. Maybe you should take this there instead? I'm also not seeing any sources either - you need to be sourcing the pictures to the artists, I would suggest using DeviantArt, that way you won't have to search around for the original sources.

Nope it's not a mistake its just that the water is pink , Sakura wanted a Naruto with a  pink hair so she spilled her cherry-blossom shampoo on purpose cus what Sakura chan wants Saskura chan gets .
