You do realize Sakura will be present with Naruto when it comes to Sasuke right? Who do you think she will honestly talk too before the fight? The guy she knows can make everything right, or the one who tried to kill her twice and is unsure about his own reason for living?

Insane people think it will go like this: "Hey Sasuke, I know you are about to fight Naruto but I still believe you can turn back from simple words and not fighting naruto, oh dont worry about trying to kill me twice, I still forgive you, thats how love is."

What will honestly happen: Sakura will talk to Naruto, they have some drama because this is the biggest fight in Naruto's life, only he can bring Sasuke back, etc. Plus they still think at this point Sasuke is a revenge driven psycho even though he mellowed out after Itachi told him to live his own life.

Do you honestly think one chapter ruined consistency? Hinata is still microscopic compared to Sakura, why such a high pedestal? Overall it is development Hinata needed, but it was also Neji finishing up, if NaruHina continued from this, then Kishi would have honestly taken out a good character like Neji, but as it is right now, he can make the final development Hinata needs in being able to get over Naruto and find her own way, she needs this just as much as Sakura needs to get over Sasuke. Hinata shouldn't be a copy of naruto with him in the end, thats basically what NaruHina could come too. Even then, why this moment and not Sakura? In writing, minor characters always get their final development before or after the climax when the main cast gets their high point and resolution, Hinata got hers now, we saw Shikamaru and Ino get the same thing in 616, and that was much better for a ton of reasons Plus the way the fight is arranged right now, just think, as much as I like Sakura, her super punching would be an unnecessary risk against the ten tails, she should stick to the medical stuff at this point in the fight until we see where she actually is. Sakura is in store, ready to come forward, its like the apocalypse on this site sometimes.

Honestly when people complain about no Sakura this or that, its just as bad as jumping to conclusions like the NH crowd going "Canon OMG OMG WE WIN, Holding hands, OMG SHE FIXED NARUTOS SHOULDER!" NaruSaku people giving up or losing hope because of the lack of interaction is the same as admitting 'OMG we lose! No talking yet during these events!

Just let me say this, what would happen in a war? You stop for a friendly chat in the middle of a battlefield and keep the dialogue going for 20 more chapters, or do you keep fighting? The 4th war arc focused on so many people, part of it was because Kishi put in so many new characters from the 5 kage summit, this had to extend it, pt focus on many of them, and keep jumping back and forth. Keep in mind, Naruto and Sakura met up twice in the war, when he saved her from the zetsu and at the ten tails, but they are in the middle of combat, no time to talk about feelings, Naruto had a job, find the white zetsu with his clones, obviously now is not the time in the middle of a battle.

You ask why the fighting stopped with Obito and Hinata both giving speeches? Its a damn manga, all types of japanese mangas and animes do this exact same thing, pause the battle, have so exchange of ideals and blabber about hope being worthless, others saying its not worthless, this exact thing with Hinata was seen in other animes before, I've even seen it in a few video games, that's just how much this trope is used, a big pause for a dramatic speech, then they get back into the action to see who's ideal will prevail. This same thing happened in Bleach back when Aizen was taken down, he kept giving his I'm so mighty and awesome speech, subject to my trolling powers which goes against logic, yet people just kept hacking away at him till Kieskae was able to get an open shot and seal that dam orb in him nullifying his powers.

The problem is, Hinata did something what Sakura never did or rather, should have done. Bring back Naruto from one of his darkest moments. And as for 617, I'm not focusing on how she fixed Naruto's shoulder and all that, I was focusing on the fact it followed up 615, where she was able to help Naruto in a MAJOR way. And oh, need I mention that healing Naruto is supposed to be Sakura's thing?? come 617, and here we are, we get a moment where she contributes to the hero in a big way. She did something what Sakura usually does best at.

And all this for her development??

This is supposed to be one of the biggest moments in the manga, the heroine should be actively taking part in it, not just sit back in the damn kitchen. FMA was different, because it was strictly laid out that Winry's job is on the sidelines. But this can't be applied here because Sakura does have potential combat ability. Kishi should be putting that to good use.

I've had a thought about 615. Obito was watching when Hinata was giving her speech and we had a panel of Obito looking over to her. Maybe Obito has made mental note about Hinata thinking he can share his pain of looking rin by killing Hinata?

Obito made a comment later nothing regarded to Rin.
The mental note is that Naruto's ninja way reminded him about who he was, Obito also never come back on his words, then later he did a comment about losing people who are dearest to him and this Naruto's belief will only hurt him more.

Rin/Sakura parallel will not be bought up.

I've had a thought about 615. Obito was watching when Hinata was giving her speech and we had a panel of Obito looking over to her. Maybe Obito has made mental note about Hinata thinking he can share his pain of looking rin by killing Hinata?

He would have done it a long time ago. What he saw is Naruto is still standing, so he decided to kill more to break him down. His mind would have reminded her that, but it didn't. Again, Obito is not phased by this, rather phased that reality is trying beat his dream. TnJ is required to understand each other closely, hence how Naruto was able to convinced Nagato. Heck, even Obito did the same for Nagato because he went through that and he pretty much told him it's not worth since life is "crap". Bottom line, nothing has changed except Obito and Madara are not controlling Juubi. I always felt like the whole volume of Juubi was used to have side characters to get momentum. Now that they are separated, it's going to be personal fight.

This! Sakura's not just a medical ninja like many people make her out to be. If that were the case, she'd be solely like Rin. I don't even think Rin fought. A lot of medical ninja don't fight but Sakura does fight, and she's damn good at it so to expect her to just heal is ridiculous to me when her personality doesn't even suit it completely. She has superhuman strength for a reason, and we've seen her capabilities in a real battle already. She was able to hold her own, offer splendid assist, and in the end she was one of the main reasons why she and Chiyo lived in the Sasori fight. He needs to do better by her instead of focusing so much on his secondary character. I have no problem with Hinata, but she's gotten wayyyyy too much panel time in this war... And she's been spamming jutsu like mad. LMAO.

It was strange that we didn't see her (and Sai) during chakra sharing scene, and she's not there with Naruto right now, cause he's being healed by non-medic. You realize the fight with Sasuke should be an even darker moment right? One of the things about the series is just that, the struggle of team 7. Naruto struggles with Sakura and Sasuke. Sakura is going to struggle espcially when it comes to the upcoming fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke is struggling for the fact of what he should really do for himself beyond revenge. Kakashi obviously his struggle lies with Obito.

The upcoming fight will be dark, not because Naruto could lose a friend rather cause he is forced to fight one he sees as a friend, his best friend and in his mind, he must be prepared to make the ultimate choice, to kill sasuke, die with him, or gain the answer he wants, the good ending in which he can fulfill all his goals.

Naruto must be prepped to face this because he is fighting his best friend, he likes and respects Sasuke like a brother but knows how dangerous he became, its not like after Sasuke gets his answer he would just feel better instantly and go right over to help naruto, he is still going to fight him regardless.

Sakura is going to have a monumental part in this, not only concerned for Sasuke but she will have a major concern for Naruto, basically its not surprising to think she would be caught between them and thinking about them as she watches the fight. Want to know what Sakura can do to top this 615 moment? She will give Naruto the pep talk and concern before the fight, would you honestly expect anyone other than her to do this? No

Its basically going to happen, Sakura will interact with Naruto in the future when this Sasuke fight is coming up, not to mention it will top the 615 moment because its the main focus of this story, 2 friends who know suffering who shared similar pain yet had different goals that drived them apart, one had good, one sought to go evil yet no matter how much drifted between them that brotherhood they forged when they were younger could not be easily broken, basically no matter how bad Sasuke became, Naruto and a smaller few still had hope that he could come back, rather in Sakura's case, her hope for them all is placed only in Naruto, not Sasuke, she placed her faith in Naruto because only he can make it right.

To be honest, both are just as important as the other. One tests his resolve to create lasting peace and protect it. Just like Pain arc. The other tests his bond with Sasuke who he sees as a brother. Sakura is "supposedly" his partner in life. Meaning, she has to be by his side every step of the way if her role is meant to be that way. And that includes this battle. So if we want a Sakura that walks together with Naruto in life, then she has to have a role in this battle. This is his journey, if she is meant to be her partner then she has to walk down that journey with him and support him in any way she can.
