OMG the thing I love about that is that you dont know exactly whats symbolic having to do with the Bible and wuts just normal thing..@_@ I love just thinking about it. I dont think anyone will really know exactly wut all those things mean except for the creator....

hehe i own all the dvds but i misplaced the movies!!! i lent it to sum1 and dun remembre who!
lol yeah the tv ending pissed ppl off, me 2 at the beginning, so he made the two movies. but i can see y he wanted the tv ending, tv ending was more character closure(sp) and the movie was more about the evas and angels purpose in the whole show

Yeah...He made an ending that like....was like f*** YOU ALL, kitteneS! and they had to like discontinue that one cuz it was so graphic. So he made another one that made it really confusing i think. lol.

Yeah, The EVA movies were AWESOME! Confusing as hell but very good. I'll have to reload them and burn them on cd.
Anyway, I thought the psychological part of it was extremely deep. I love deep psychology, the final scene with Shinji and Asuka as the last humans of humanity was sheer genius! I'm always looking for fics of what happens afterwards.
(If you hadn't guessed, I'm a rabid Shinji/Asuka fan)
I own volumes 1-8 of the manga ande I'm waiting for Glenat, the french editor, to release volume 9. It's more serious and the themes are for more mature people (we see Rei naked quite a few times, and Asuke is even more axed on Kaji then in the anime) and I love it!

Woot for volume 9 then I too share the same loving of these psychological animes. Check out paranoia Agent, and Perfect Blue. Those are psychological animes. Though they wont compare to Eva(nothing will ^^) they are pretty good.

Wow...I didn't particularly care for Evangelion. After all the hype, I was highly disappointed, to be honest. I didn't see anything groundbreaking, unless you call robots eating each other a huge thing. *sighs* Ah well. I am on the Asuka train, however. She was one cool chick.
