All of this really makes no sense, which is why I hope this is just like RTN and Kishi's just trolling NH.
On one hand you've got the manga, which completely points toward NS and is even set up for a big NS moment in the next (last) chapter.
On the other hand, you've got a canon movie made by Kishi that is implying and pointing toward NH.
All we can do for now is wait for next week to see if everything gets cleared up in the chapter. If not, we have to wait for the movie and hope Kishi doesn't screw up an entire series worth of development between Naruto and Sakura.
Still, until the worse actually happens, we should try to stay positive. We've still got the manga on our side and all of this might end next week.

Also, it's kinda suspicious to say "as connected as can be". There must be some things that aren't canon there.

 

I alluded to that in my responce actually. We can't expect for Kishi to have been involved in every second of the movie's art and writing. Pierrot was probably given a certain amount of leeway to tinker around with unimportant details of the movie, as long as it doesn't interfere with the core story.

We see woman's legs and back, she stands near the Naruto.

We see the panel with Naruto's and woman's hands put together, and then the panels with the bottom of their faces - both smiling.

The last shot: Konoha in the bright sunrise.

The end.

Yeah NH is definitely going to be canon after that.

First one. It's the translation to his message from the movie spread. He says it's connected to canon as much as possible and to read the manga completely before watching the movie.

I really wonder as to why people freak out when the movie is not even out yet! This literally seems like....freaking out before the exams just cuz you think some questions MIGHT BE asked for the exam!

Keep calm...and have faith in NS Sakura's character doesn't allow her to forget all that Naruto has done for her...
