Oh, wait.

LOL I can't wait to see where she stands within the rookie group. I'm certain she's the strongest female rookie but I want to know how strong as a whole.

Another thing to take note of is that Sakura seems VERY confident. She knows when she's outmatched/outclassed, but she feels she can keep up with these guys so I have a VERY good feeling some great things will happen this time around for her. She wouldn't be so confident if her skills were lacking compared to the two of them. Wednesday needs to hurry up and land here!

I actually really like that. Sort of reminds me of the OVA where Sakura's holding Naruto. That'd be soooo freakin' awesome! Hopefully Kishi does something reminiscent to that scene.

Anyway, about her prowess in genjutsu. What if she gets Hashi's technique Bringer of Darkness.
Basically that jutsu cannot be undone until you kill the caster and it leaves the enemy in total blindess.
That's so OP tho'. BUt still, one can dream, right?

That would be extremely OP. LOL. I would really like to see Kishimoto provide an epilogue arc where Sakura is mastering genjutsu or SSM. That way, it wouldn't feel as OP if she knew techniques like Bringer of Darkness, because the time-skip would provide her time to train for that sort of thing.

For right now, I think it would be cool if Sakura played a part in undoing Tsukuyomi, should Madara get a chance to use it. Her talent seems to be in releasing genjutsu rather than performing it.

Sakura needs to give Kurenai a visit.

I much prefer it if Naruto and Sasuke fight with both falling to the ground. Sakura goes over to Naruto upset and gets all hung up. Naruto wakes up and is like "Ow ow ow. Easy Sakura." She perks up and smiles through tears saying "You scared me, you jerk" and then they kiss right on the floor Spider-Man style.

You know, it's funny. I remember this week, someone brought up Samurai Pizza Cats, SPC, (just bare with me here) and decided to see the ending one more time to jog my memory. I can't help but think it could happen to Naruto. In that show, the arch-nemesis and the main protagonist worked together to save the world, even when they were enemy for the past whole show. When the situation ended, they go to their love interest. To put it in Naruto's universe, Karin can come to Sasuke since let's face it, she won't let go, and Sakura can go to Naruto since this volume really focus on Sakura circling around Naruto. In SPC, the world watched them embrace and they all smiled, even though the protagonist was dumb enough to get hungry in the middle of a romantic moment. Naruto can do the same. Wow, now it makes me wonder...

I have heard some arguments arguing that Choji is the most powerful rookie (excluding Naruto and Sasuke), both physically and with regards to his abilities in general. They do present some valid points concerning Choji's recent enhancements like the ability to use his butterfly technique without the pill supplements and when he's a giant his destructive force should be magnified several fold. Sakura is in the top 3/4 IMO with her only rivals being Choji, Neji, and Lee; although some people would argue that Ino may have become more capable due to her recent feats like contending with Asuma, who is a Jonin, in hand to hand combat. I don't agree with them but I have to admit that there is some validity to what they're saying and it is true that Ino has been depicted as having improved considerably on her own in terms of fighting abilities.

Would Choji be considered the strongest physically of any of the rookies (excluding Naruto) by anyone here?

You know, I never really considered Chouji a physically strong character. You bring up a good point, though due to his ability to enlarge himself, I'm not sure if I would count that as physical strength. Smashing buildings becomes really easy if you can grow into a giant.

As it stands right now, I agree with you that quite a few of the Rookies have bested Sakura, but I don't think that will be for long. All of the Rookies, more or less, have had a chance to show improvement in their strengths during the War arc. Sakura hasn't. I think the continuation of 631 is going to demonstrate the improvements she's had, and that will take her back up to the top.

I'm not 100% sure in this case though as Butterfly mode was capable of crushing the Curse Seal lvl.2, although Choji was facing the weakest member (not in terms of physical strength). I guess it really depends on how powerful Tsunade's technique really is, though we've seen Sakura destroy the area with just a foot kick/hand punch. I'd give it to Choji at a glance right now, but Sakura with this "power-up" she speaks of could very well get her 3rd strongest title

Well his mass is greater and the fact that he retains the butterfly technique should be considered for something at least. Choji did manage to force Gedo Mazo to defend itself and it even appeared to be retracting somewhat by the intensity of his attack.

I agree. Hopefully after the next chapter when she begins to display these new abilities it will put her above all of the other rookies and it may even propel her into the Kage level list depending on what it is precisely she intends to use.

This presents an interesting prospect. Since Jirobo was capable of upheaving Choji whilst using CS2 would that not make him one of the most physically powerful characters in the manga? Could Tsunade, Sakura, A, or the 3rd Raikage perform a similar feat? I am very curious now.

Supposedly, the Yin seal technique came from the Uzumaki clan since Mito also had the same mark on the forehead just like Tsunade.

So... if Sakura really has the Yin seal, she will be using a technique of her future husband's Naruto's clan

I disagree, none of Naruto's techniques are unique and most of Sasuke's techniques were unique.
For Naruto, Toad Sage Mode was first used by Jiraiya, Naruto was not the first Jinchuriki to tame a Biju, Minato can use Kyubi Chakra Mode
And for Sasuke every one of his MS techniques were used by someone else at one point (mainly Itachi but if he get Perfect Susanoo we can add Madara too) and when it comes to his Fire Release techniques, these all come from the Fireball Jutsu his dad taught him and all his Lightning Release techniques are derived from Chidori.

The thing that gets me is that Kishi, while always adding in twists and turns, tends to make things blatantly obvious. I remember way back when it wasn't confirmed that Minato (at the time Yondaime because no one knew who he was yet) was Naruto's father and to me, it was just so obvious. And obvious for a reason too, just the physical similarities and all the foreshadowing to it as well. I remember people saying that because it was so obvious it can't be true..

Kishi isn't trying to play inception. He wants to make his manga not completely predictable, but somethings are obvious for a reason.

Most likely mitotic regeneration, and or slug sage mode. Shes already mastered the strength to the point where she uses it instinctively. those are the only possibilities beyond enhanced genjutsu training under kurenai that I can think of.

If Sakura has Slug Sage Mode then I wouldn't be surprised since she will be the same as Naruto and Sasuke who got Sage Mode too. At this point, they'll all have Sage Mode technique. I think it's going to be something like Byakugo, but Slug Sage Mode is a good possibility.

I'm just excited to what our Sakura has up her sleeves XD. She looks really determined to unleash her real power.

But yeah, it might happen. I wonder why he didn't use on all of his previous battles, then. If you think about it, the asspulls centered around Sharingan, so yeah, not sure about sage mode. On the other hand, it would complete the faction of neo-sannin. On the other other hand, only two of them in the previous generation had them. So maybe this generation it will be Naruto and Sakura to have it while Sasuke got his own things. Who knows. I want to know if Naruto is ready to go RKM yet.

But, the possibility of her having Slug Sage Mode is still a good one. Plus, if it hasn't been demonstrated then maybe she will. Actually, I think at the same time that what Sakura will have is a surprise for us that we didn't thought of. We'll see.
