Obito really hasn't been affected yet. Friendship is just not working on him. He made that clear when he killed Neji and went on to mock Naruto right after. Love is the key. He's going to have to be reminded about Rin for TnJ to work. The NaruSaku and ObiRin parallel is probably what's going to be the "final blow." Remember, Nagato only changed when he was connected to Naruto through Jiraiya and his teachings/beliefs. We have yet to see any connection for Obito. Although he is curious about Naruto, he is far from changing.
I think the "looks are deceiving" thing actually works in our favor. She looks elegant and classy, but she might be the exact opposite. Not sloppy, but honest. I can't really see her as a shy person either way, but that's entirely up to you.
Exactly. That's where we wait and see how everything goes down. Again, Naruto doesn't know what made him like that, but he knows there's a huge pain within him. He probably did hear the reason why, but don't think he knows full details about it. If the parallel gets confirmed, it's all over. You're right about Nagato. Funny that I didn't think about it.
Yeah, you're right about looks can be deceiving. So far, it has been in good favor. It's only matter of time the truth will be unfold and we can see where she came from. Btw I like your sig. I noticed what happens in that sig.
I don't understand my own NaruSaku fanbase sometimes. Many of us seem so self-assured that NaruSaku will be the canon end pairing, myself included. And
then I see some so-called "confident" NS fans jump ship or freak out over the slightest things of NH. Like this cover for instance. I thought most of us were past that.

I understand it a little, seeing it in a cover would sting a bit. But seriously? It's nothing new to us. So Naruto and Hinata are holding hands? We dealt with it and then we saw the aftermath in 616. The troll most of us laughed out, remember? It's hard to stay level-headed sometimes with her shipping bias. Positvely or negative, it often causes us to overreact. I'm no exception to this, I've over-reacted a lot.
Logically, I do think it's possible that NaruHina is getting more importance through this cover. We cannot deny this, it's not impossible. But my main qualm with this is that it'd be bad story-telling. Disregarding the NS development and asspull NH this late? I don't believe Kishi would go that far. It makes even less sense when the MinaKushi/NaruSaku parallel was confirmed in RtN and Naruto was still in love with Sakura not even that long ago. No one, especially in the Narutoverse, can get over love that easily. Add Naruto's one-track, determined personality as well and how he can't let go of bonds (romantic, brotherly etc.) easily because he cherishes it too much. With him, no matter what happens, his main bonds still remain unchanged because Naruto doesn't change his mind when he decides the nature of his bonds. Sasuke, despite his darkness, is his brother and someone he's glad he met. Iruka's like a big bro/father figure and he's seen Sakura romantically the entire time despite her love for Sasuke and her "lie".
There is my irrational shipper side that is annoyed and slightly worried about the cover but my logical beliefs over NaruSaku overcome the shipper side. Maybe I'm under-reacting, maybe I'm not. IMO, I think I'm in between.
For those of you who are doubting NS, the best medicine for that is to re-watch the 6th Naruto movie. It'll make you feel better and hopefully restore some confidence in the likely end pairing.

I'm not criticizing you for doubting, it's normal. But let's not forget this: Naruto isn't over yet, we still have another 1 1/2 years for chapters. A lot can happen during those chapters. Nothing is set in stone, not NH or NS.
Well said. Check my comment and see what you think.
I do like the cover. I made a post before but yeah. Well my idea is about friendship and while yes romance can be shown in hand holding, there are couple of things to be well aware. First off, you only get 50% of romance and obviously it comes from Hinata. Naruto didn't show it. So it begs the question: where does it leads? If Naruto still loves Sakura, then this moment is now a bond of friendship. If he moves on, it's a bond of strong personal relationship, alas love. So yes, pretty much it's on the mercy of Naruto.
Lastly, we don't know how the meaning behind it, the fact the atmosphere is missing and hard to decipher, which keeps screaming, "friendship". Oddly enough, it didn't have that special background that screams "strong emotion inbound". Anyway, I stand by that the volume was in fact about friends' bond. Neji was like a sacrifice to let everyone know that they shouldn't stop and continue to move, which is why he's in the middle. Naruto and Hinata may be in question about romance, but again, Hinata got the Shikamaru effect in which she get the bigger focus in this volume, not to mention this most likely will close the whole Hyuuga situation, especially well, Neji is most likely going to get revive and no longer cursed, which can be the best possible ending, even though I don't want Pain 2.0 but what can you do.
Bottom line, one NS moment can just tell this moment a friendship bond alas friendzoned. It's only matter of time for NH to finally be a real possible pairing or a friendship that love can only exist in a fan fiction. Time is ticking.
