I'm curious, Sakura and Sasuke are no doubt going to confront each other again and i'm wondering what will be said/done between them? Will Sakura try the Team 7 together forever approach or the i love you approach?

If Kishi has any respect for his own manga then he'll give it the ending the story deserves, not the ending the fans want.

I've said it before, as an artist and storyteller Kishi should not be influenced boy anyone, he should give it the ending he truly thinks it should have. We as fans can say anything but it should not matter to him. Not from any fans of any fan base, he can make naruto get with ayami (ramen girl) and it would still work if he felt it should. He should not let anything influence the creative freedom he can use for his story, not let it be impacted by the demands of any fan base, not for the ns crowd, not for the nh crowd, not the ss crowd, not even studio perriot or for a fan base being bigger or smaller in one country to another. He should make it have a proper ending based on what he wrote and what he wants to happen to his characters. Any ending resulting in any fan base demands would make this nothing more than a merchandised fanfiction.

I think it's not about money but more about losing readers.

Keep in mind that his audiences are the Japanese people, whom have a totally different outlook on the series, than majority of the Western fans. Regardless of pairings, quality/quantitiy topic, etc.

*Caugh* Are we forgeting what Naruto is? Naruto is a highly succesful manga that has spawned three anime shows, both successfull, several succesfull movies and a whole video game franchise. Do we honestly think he has financhal issues?

Most of the really vocal fans that threaten to stop reading Naruto over this or that don't even buy the volumes in the first place though. So really, he wouldn't be losing much of any money based on whether or not he makes NH canon. [/empty threats are empty]

Besides, the fear of losing readers has never stopped him from doing what he wants in the past. For example, killing off Asuma, Jiraiya, Itachi, and now Neji. Surely he knew that those characters were popular with the fans and that he could lose readers for cutting them from the series. He did it anyway and he also lost fans because of it. Did any of those instances affect him in any way? Not really. That's why I don't believe he's being swayed by NaruHina's popularity. Given Kishimoto's track record, it doesn't make any sense.

611-617 is character development for Hinata and Neji. That's really all there is to it. If NaruHina blooms from it, cool, but I think a lot of us are getting carried away about it.

How akward must the hug been for both of them. Because the whole village was watching and theres a 75% chance that Naruto got a boner, and Sakura probably noticed. Akward.

Hopefully Kishi does not do this, I mean there was a time when he could have used hinata more be he always focused on naruto and sakura interaction more. At this point just abandoning that is weak and really ruins so much of their characters, if anything naruto and sakura majorly did build off each other in the long run, just shafting this would be a disgrace and mean they only have a simple friendship. The ending has been decided as he said, I just hope that ending involves something good with naruto and sakura. Looking back though, much of the story does intertwine with them along with Sasuke, and part of this is ow they grew around it together, I'd just find it very upsetting for Kishi to just make this vanish because of fan base differences and over majority preception.

I mean avatar could have gone Zuko and katara, it could have given them more money but they put aang and katara together on their own choice, this also gave them the ability to continue the series.

Kishi should just stick to his views, not what fans want him to do, the last thing I want to see is naruto becoming a fanserviced story, hence this is the reason why fillers, Oakes, and the rock lee spinoff were made, even in other media like the games, get all the silky fanservice done there, perriot or whoever makes the other media can put all the fanservice with any characters in these areas, that should satisfy them, let Kishi do his own honest thoughts in the main story, let him work free away from any influences.

And on a side note I should mention, he did say in that 2010 interview around the confession, that people did say sakura should do more heroine type stuff, he thought he did but people gave him negative feedback,(apparently they could not tell sai felt he pushed sakura to to this) , he said he felt he put her a stubborn girl in a situation who had a hard time but good intentions at heart, it would be a hard struggle for her both ways at naruto and Sasuke. He also mentioned that people said she should be like hinata, he simply replied back saying while you say hinata hinata, I say she is not hinata.

That's something I'm happy for, he at least acknoldges that sakura is not hinata and he is not going to do her in the same way he does hinata, so he does like Sakura's character. This gives me a little satisfaction that people Clinging onto the hinata focus, he still says that he is doing what he must with sakura as he feels.

Still as most of us want a narusaku ending, it's his choice, just we at least see many reasons and logical possibilities for it, and it won't destroy the story best of all, it's consistency because he chose to write down the events with naruto and sakura caught up in them. I just hope we see naruto and sakura get interaction again soon, or at least screen time for sakura, seems like after the zetsu event, Kishi has. Had a long vacation from developing his heroine, hopefully he ends this vacation and remembers his heroine and focuses on her for a bit after the Sasuke events, or Kakashi, but then again we know a good deal on Kakashi and his backstory, all we really need to know is why he killed rin, Kakashi can reveal this to his students and obito though and why it lead to things as they are. I just hope Kishi gives sakura some spotlight, not for anything pairing related but its about time we get focus on sakura.

I think road to ninja is all the proof we need for him not being swayed, I mean he did choose sakura to star along with naruto in this movie, a movie he made, plus this did earn the franchise over $18 million in u.s. dollars. So money really is no issue, just hope they don't go full money hungry.

Yea your right. It was a sweet moment as it was. But sometimes we forget that Naruto is a hormone packed boy .


Anyway I made a rather fun analogy to NH and NS.

Let`s say that Naruto is a train, Sakura is a train station and Hinata is a gas station. Where will the train stop? The train station of course. A train only goes wheres theres a railroad (hence Naruto because he is extremly determined). So why do NH fans expect the train to change his mind to go to a gas station when theres a train station right there.

Heres my final thought before I got to bed:

I think Hinata was a test for Naruto. Does he trully love Sakura? Would he take the easy way out and go out with Hinata? Thats one of his trials. And it may as well be the purpose of her character.
