Can I ask you a off-topic question :

Ore is for men. I think.

Boku is for boy. I think. It sounds less manlier. Well, that's how I feel.

Watashi seems to be for girls, but sometimes I can hear male characters using it. Why ?

How are they use ?

Also why sometimes girls speak of themselves at the third person, it sounds retarded, and like they try hard to sound cute of something like that...

'Watashi' is the general form polite of "I". It can be used from both genders. Howenver it's used more by females. Adult men uses it only towards their superiors (work, etc..). However most of men uses the more masculine 'Ore'. Orochimaru uses 'watashi', he sounds so more feminine, you surely noticed it more in the anime version lol

about girls speakings of themselves in third person, it considered a childlike cuteness.

Watashi is universal pronoun (used my both females and males). Men use watashi in a formal situation mostly (work, etc.).
Boku is less formal and yeah, you're right.. it's used mostly by young boys (or tomboy-ish girls).
Ore is probably most informal of the three and very manly, lol.

Oresama is a pronoun used by a very arrogant and selfish person.

Hope this helped. :sweatdrop:

It's been a while I haven't watched the anime, and I didn't catch that sort of subtility back then, let me guess :

Sasuke use Ore, He's too arrogant and rude for boku.

Lee uses boku as he's an humble gentleman.

Same for Chouji.

Kiba uses Ore as he likes to talk big.

Naruto I'm not too sure, as he isn't that arrogant even if he likes to talk big and loud.

Neji, Shino  boku ?

Also I'm not so sure about Shikamaru, he's humble but he also has that macho attitude..

Tell me how wrong I am.

Thank you as well.

I prefer characters that use ore. Now, I tend to associate boku to mediocre beta MC, those you can find in those awful harem animes.

I prefer them manly and hot blooded.

No problem.

Haha, yeah.. Well, irl if one wants to use ore, they gotta be sure the situation is informal (being among friends, schoolmates, etc.), because you might sound rude and disrespectful.

Things are a bit more simple in the world of fiction... And yeah, gotta love those reckless hunks... :smug:

harem is
i must be stupid but i just don't get it :ermm:

I don't get it either.

I'm happy Naruto isn't one of those passive wishy washy mess and that he's dead set on Sakura...

Yep. He's not giving up on her ever anytime soon.

Hey, so I've been browsing through the sketches again, and that necklace in casual!Sakura sketch actually looks more like a ring on a string... :hehehe:

Okay, let's assume it's actually a ring. Considering Sakura uses taijutsu in fights it would only be logical to wear it as a necklace, because wearing a ring while fist-fighting can damage your fingers real bad (and taking it off and on again is not very practical).

I don't like them.

Reverse harem shows are awful. There is no substance besides husbando pandering. Except that one vampire shinsengumi thing. It surprisingly was an otome adaptation, that wasn't a reverse harem as they clearly chose the Hijikata's path. And there was a real plot and decent fight scenes.

I always thought it looked like a diamond. If it was a magatama necklace, wouldn't it have a circle in it, like Hagoromo's? -
