The things you heard of Sakura wanting Sasuke to be like Naruto weren't accurate. There was NO indication in the novel she wanted Sasuke to be LIKE Naruto. But I don't think I should write in details here in this thread.

Maybe it was a spoiler from later on in the novel? Although, the first chapter has only been released, not sure how they would get that...

As the Sakura novel comes out, new info becomes available and the new series ramps up, lets try to keep indepth discussion of those topics in the specific threads. That way if people don't want to be overloaded with the Naruto comic-tragedy that this has become, they won't get overloaded. And that way this thread doesn't veer to heavily into one topic or another, but stays open for all discussion.

 

Also — as new info becomes available, please post it (or a copy) in the individual thread, so users can easily reference it. It's hard when you have to search back through 600+ pages to find the original post everybody's talking about!! :)

 

Lastly, as a community, how do we feel about images/content from the new series? Should we put them behind spoilers so they don't burn our eyes out? Or are we all pretty much desensitized by now? 

 

One thought is that we use spoilers in this thread — because it's a neutral zone for all Naruto-related discussion — then be more open and spoiler-less in the book and new series chapter threads. Cause if you're already in something like a book thread, you know what you're going to get....

The first chapter is a test read. Anyone can test read the first few pages and then decide whether to buy it or not when it gets released. The first pages had Sakura interacting with NH. I'm 100% sure that's where the rumor came from. The later chapters aren't released yet so it's not from there.

And then there's a whole load of info on how NH got together, Sakura feeling happy for them, and then thinking she wants to have that kind of romantic happiness too. The name Sasuke wasn't mentioned. I'm pretty sure the *cough* SNS *cough* twisted the rumors to make it fit their tastes again.

You're right. She's just plain, so I can't really say anything critique about her. I'm not joking, that's how I always see her. I was defending her so bad here but then, her character was really what it is. I just don't get it.
