I will laugh very hard if popularity will make that happend, for sure. That's going to be ultimate pairing for this manga

I was first laughing at that ridiculous prediction from both fans and antis, but now that it sounds quite realistic I don't find it funny anymore. I'm getting worried.

  

Eeeeh really ? But Hinata got everything not because she was popular (since she, in fact, wasn't popular ) but because she was loved by the SP staff right ? Plus they already know that Sasuke is more popular (and SNS) since they used and are still using him to promote The Last, the next movie and part 3 (BoruSara = SNS/NS)

Since SP would want to make Hinata popular they might insert some SH scenes, to increase her fans.

But how is that even started?

People predicted that Hinata will get kidnapped in the upcoming Boruto series and Boruto will try to rescue Hinata. Sasuke will also intervene and help Boruto.
Boruto: Why are you helping us?
Sasuke: Because I was in love with your mother.

And idk the rest. The problem is, even the antis say that they believe SP can do this.

It's easy to think of Sand as allies of the Leaf, but in the beginning, they were stern, distrustful and conspiring against the Leaf. I never thought Temari or Kankuro were forced into behaving the way they did. I thought they were stern soldiers, coming from a very warring country/village that was very different from Konoha at the time. There were lots of mention of Konoha becoming lazy from peace. So I always saw Temari and Kankuro as being much more representative of their Sand culture than the Leaf. And part of their story is growing from agressive and distrustful to being able to make alliances and then even friendships with the Konoha nins.

 

Exactly - their belligerent attitudes predated any alliances or machinations against the Leaf. The siblings were endangering and tormenting before Orochimaru's proposal inspired Suna to change their plans. Some of the comments made by their higher ups hinted at a deeper animosity going back generations that stem from the Leaf's relative prosperity compared to the warring impoverished barren landscape that they have had to live in for so long. Their economy happens to be ranked the lowest of the five major countries as well. It makes sense that the Sand Siblings would look upon the complacent lazy foreigners of Konoha with disdain since it's a harsh contrast to their own livelihoods. An upbringing based in a harsh society where the threat of attack is an everyday occurrence would reasonably harden their hearts and make them act with a strict mindset that keeps them prepared for anything. Even after relations with the Leaf had become friendly you can still see facets of their warlike culture shining through in their methods used to kill the Sound 5.

Come on! If those become couple, that would create a balance in Narutoverse, that who will walk forever with that who will wait forever   Two who won't even speak to each other, perfect understanding without words

For hetero, I think so. I can be really wrong about that. As for all around, SN is the most (I think again) followed by Iruka and Kakashi. Something tells me that because of former, we got a lot of innuendo scenes.

Meh, not only is the couple hot as kitten(saw a SasuSaku fan art yesterday, and woo ), there's a whole bunch of angst surrounding it. People eat that kitten up. Plus, there colors go really well together too, which that was one of the main reasons I shipped it. But I think Naruto and Sakura's colors go better together, I like how bright they are

And marriage. Don't forget that. It would've definitely been a big deal for the 5 nations to see the Kazekage marrying his sister off to the man who would essentially be second-in-command of the Leaf village.

Since I'm a Shikatema fan, I'd like to go a little deeper into this. When Temari first met Shikamaru, she thought of him as a good-for-nothing ninja. Which would've solidified her beliefs about Konoha's lack of awareness due to peacetime. But she would've never thought a ninja who was easily the laziest around could best her handily. I think it was both Shika and Naruto who changed the siblings' perception the most.

That way if people don't want to be overloaded with the Naruto comic-tragedy that this has become, they won't get overloaded. And that way this thread doesn't veer to heavily into one topic or another, but stays open for all discussion.

 

Also — as new info becomes available, please post it (or a copy) in the individual thread, so users can easily reference it. It's hard when you have to search back through 600+ pages to find the original post everybody's talking about!! :)

 

Lastly, as a community, how do we feel about images/content from the new series? Should we put them behind spoilers so they don't burn our eyes out? Or are we all pretty much desensitized by now? 

 

One thought is that we use spoilers in this thread — because it's a neutral zone for all Naruto-related discussion — then be more open and spoiler-less in the book and new series chapter threads. Cause if you're already in something like a book thread, you know what you're going to get....

Definitely spoilers in this thread. I wouldn't mind it, but I am certain that many others still do not wish to see images from Part 3 and the other novels.

In the other specific threads, it's safe in my eyes to leave out the spoilers unless in some extreme cases the pictures are disturbing/not appropriate/ or bloody (which will never happen).
