I'm quite disgusted with the number of present/ex-NH fans and Hinata fans wanting Hinata to have a romance or a thing with Sasuke.

they really want to piss off the SS fans... wasn't it supposed to be the most big hetero fandom in japan ? If they keep doingthis they are going to lose them too..

SP even felt the need to punish Naruto for not realizing Hinata's feelings or call out Neji as sexual harassment for fighting her in the Chuunin exams (maybe that's why they even killed him). If they figure out that Sasuke is still more popular than Naruto, it's well within their scope to turn it into SH by killing Naruto and Sakura off. And I'm being serious here.

She was comparing to her relationship with Sasuke to NaruHina's relationship because they seem happy and Sasuke is no where to be found (LOL).

 

I think Child Sasuke would be combatable with Sakura as they both seeked acknowledgement (Like Naruto/Sakura) and Sasuke wasn't nearly as serious as he was Post Massacre, and I don't think Sakura has shown enjoying Naruto jokes though she obviously liked how he cheered her up.

 

Apparently neither is Naruto if we consider that his spawn is resorting to the same tactics that an ostracised orphan used, with no support group or friends, to create a spectacle by defacing historical monuments just to get its father's attention. It correlates to a deeper issue within the family unit. 

 

Would Sakura still be attracted to Sasuke under these different circumstances? We have to consider the drastic shift in personality that a Sasuke with his family still alive would have. Part of his attraction to all those academy girls was his calm aloof demeanour. It was his detachment from society and the whole "bad boy" persona that helped draw in all of those fangirls. In this alternate scenario, he would still have his good looks and talent, but I doubt he would be quite so driven or showy with his prodigy status.

 

Child Sasuke's personality was actually very similar to child Gaara's except with the familial insecurities of Hinata included. Like Hinata, his desire for acknowledgement was related to his father and sibling. He didn't have the same enthusiasm and jubilant positivity that defined Naruto during his childhood - determined to prove himself, yes, but child Sasuke strikes me as being the sort who was mostly fixated on family, including his acknowledgement seeking, instead of socialising outside his clan. 

 

In the sense of encouraging her and all that... ya know, the reasons she said in her confession too. Or at least that's what I heard, waiting for full confirmation.

 

Encouragement and status can't be the only reasons for her attraction though. Not that it matters anymore since Sakura's masochistic lust for Sasuke won out in the end.

I read it. If true, there won't be that many materials, unless we really going to have two worlds. It's like SP wants to sabotage it and keeps telling us the other work they have will always be a masterpiece. Maybe they want revenge when TG beat Naruto with fans poll...

But I do wonder if it is true. People isn't going to be happy. I never see a backlash this big till now.

Tell you the truth. I see nothing wrong with SH before the ending. I always thought if Kishi had the talent for it that he would depicted SH with a love triangle between Naruto. Out of all the girls, Hinata is the only one in the entire series never had a thing for Sasuke. And he would have to work hard for a girl that doesn't even loves him to win her heart.

 

And their background of being born from two prominent noble doujutsu clans in Konoha and their neglected  by their fathers was a good  to push SH. Seeing how Hiashi treated Hinata could have reminded Sasuke how Fukugaki treated him in a similar fashion (of course without the training) and how Hinata reminded him of that infuriated him that he doesn't want to see Hinata pathetic, so most likelly he trains with her, but gets jealous when she doesn't open up to him because she has eyes for Naruto being her motivator instead of Sasuke. And tha's how I think SH could have came to be.

 

As of now, I don't give a kitten up SH because of the ending and no buildup at all. I don't think Sasuke even knows Hinata exists.

C'mon, SH all the way! Hinata and Sasuke must suffer    

I will laugh very hard if popularity will make that happend, for sure. That's going to be ultimate pairing for this manga

Eeeeh really ? But Hinata got everything not because she was popular (since she, in fact, wasn't popular ) but because she was loved by the SP staff right ? Plus they already know that Sasuke is more popular (and SNS) since they used and are still using him to promote The Last, the next movie and part 3 (BoruSara = SNS/NS)

But to the siblings, Gaara wasn't even present when Kankuro threatened Konohamaru (even Sasuke was unable to pick up on his presence) and I doubt Gaara was holding a proverbial gun to Temari's head so she could forcibly partake in torturing others. Complacency through intimidation isn't the same as embracing the cruelty itself for your own satisfaction. That's what Temari and Kankuro did. They intentionally put themselves out there with no coercion from Gaara.

 

I'm wondering if this attitude doesn't stem from the same kind of societal corruption that tainted Kumogakure and made Zabuza into the murder-happy freak who stared gleefully off into space at the thought of killing so many people at the academy. 

 

It's easy to think of Sand as allies of the Leaf, but in the beginning, they were stern, distrustful and conspiring against the Leaf. I never thought Temari or Kankuro were forced into behaving the way they did. I thought they were stern soldiers, coming from a very warring country/village that was very different from Konoha at the time. There were lots of mention of Konoha becoming lazy from peace. So I always saw Temari and Kankuro as being much more representative of their Sand culture than the Leaf. And part of their story is growing from agressive and distrustful to being able to make alliances and then even friendships with the Konoha nins.

Female characters in Naruto aren't that popular. Funny, because one poll got like 3 women close up in the poll, yet now, it's all a distant memory. Apparently, in this series, you don't have to do anything and you'll still get ratings. At least other series, complain about the placement, but they are doing something. More than something. Oh well.
