I really doubt that naruto will leave the village.

Rocci if he  leaves things will be similar like CCS then we half confession in the manga and half confession in the movie.

Sasuke is thinking beyond this generation and let's not forget people turned back on the Sage's teachings not long after his death.
Give or take, the villages will only hold out that peace whilist Naruto lives and even that is not guaranteed.
Do not forget either that they also only fought together for two days and none of that solves their long term economical woes.
Creating the Bijuu was stupid because he should have just transferred the Juubi to Indra or Ashura and the other would have shut up before the winner's overwhelming power.
Blame Kishimoto but after 700 chapters the issue of peace still has no concrete solution from Naruto's side, just the same vague idealistic words.
Sasuke might be crazy but he at least has a viable yet flawed solution just like Nagato had.

People turned their backs on Hagoromo's teachings because there was no one to carry them on, they were forgotten. That was originally Ashura's role, but Indra's jealousy ended up getting the both of them killed. Had Indra not been an ass, Hagoromo's teachings might not have been forgotten. This is demonstrated with Jiraiya. Jiraiya died, but his teachings were passed down to Naruto. However, Naruto didn't die before he passed on his "teachings" to everyone else. The 5 Kage and and the alliance accepted Naruto's ideals. That is already a huge step above what Hagoromo was able to get Ashura to do apparently. Now, instead of Hagoromo being the pillar on his own, Naruto was able to get that ideal across to all the significant people in the world, all it takes is for them to pass it on as well, which is feasible.

Economics is easier than getting a bunch of competing countries to cooperate, so that can be dealt with later.

Had he given it to Ashura, Indra would have been jealous and probably would have found a way to try to get it from Ashura. Had Indra received the Juubi, he would have cast the IT, just like he wanted to. Creating the bijuu was the best option, because it would scatter the power of the Juubi so that it would be harder to resurrect.

We haven't been given Naruto's plan yet aside from fostering cooperation, so it isn't fair to assume that his plan is based on idealistic words.

But that's the thing. Sasuke's plan is the furthest thing from viable, since it has no credibility. It is reliant on a scenario that no longer exists, the backbone of his plans has zero viability.

The "Something to tell you" line that Naruto says in "The Last" is not directed towards Sakura. This was already established weeks ago by the japanese translators.

 

The way Naruto addresses Sakura is different in japanese than the way he speaks in that sentence. In that sentence he's just speaking to a normal peer. It could be Sasuke or anyone else of the rookies, but it's definitely not Sakura.

Naruto need to win this battle, because it will make naruto and sasuke equal. With naruto and sasuke have win on each side.
And I don't think sasuke will be like obito because sasuke is not naruto parallel, while obito is. Remember, tnj only work for naruto parallel.

Naruto will successfully save sasuke, from himself.
Both Naruto and sasuke will come to understanding.
I believe naru vs sasu should happen 3 times.
I always predict naruto will become the champion of five big village, while sasuke become the hero of small village.

Well ... at least that could explain why Naruto and Sakura might not be together yet. It makes more sense than both of them staying in the village and having stagnant development the whole time when they should already be way past that.

 

That's if NS isn't already canon in the movie. I'm just theorizing.

Oh, man, I just realized something depressing: If Naruto, indeed, does not return to the village/has to leave it for whatever reason, he'll still be a Genin. After all this time and all his accomplishments, he'll still be a freaking Genin, and he'll have to wait some more, in order to receive his promotion. What the hell is this? 

You realise ranks are no longer very credible. I mean, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto took down Kaguya. A chuunin and 2 genins managed to take out the freaking chakra goddess.

 

 

Also on another note, while everyone is speculating in regards to what is going to happen in the movie, has anyone thought of what the ending could possibly be? What ending would be a satisfactory one? (Besides Naruto and Sakura embracing in the sunset while Kakashi's mask turns into tears of joy)

 

Edit: also anyone hoping for a throwback to the start of shippuden with Naruto going " Wow you're much more like a woman now Sakura"

Why I scare you?

Sakura leave the village depend on tsunade.
If she's dead, I think it gonna be 50/50.
If tsunade stil alive, most likely she will resign and go to the slug place taking sakura with her.

Why I don't think naruto will leave? Because of his right hand. I believe naruto can't perform hand seal with two hand because his right hand still damage from using rasenshuriken.
Remember, all naruto training always show on panel.

Since this movie is going to be a "start of love", do you think it's going to explain how Sakura falls in love with Naruto and how they get together? Because its apparently the gap between current manga time and the epilogue chapter...   I expect NS to be canon in the epilogue so its not far off to say that the movie will explain their story. Since its a time skip, I dont buy the "there isnt enough time for Sakura to fall for Naruto" stuff. With all of their development, it makes sense for Naruto and Sakura to be together in the last chapter.

What is it in the sentence that makes it different from how he talks to Sakura? And also, who's to say Naruto doesn't change the way he speaks to her should they establish a relationship (don't think he would, just a thought)?
