Okay you guys will probably kill for me saying this but this chapter was too predictable since Kubo is using a DBZ plot obviously Ichigo has become stronger than Aizen, then Aizen will reveals a secret power getting stronger than Ichigo and then by a miracle Ichigo defeats Aizen. I wonder if Toriyama reads this manga.

Anyways, emo Ichigo is emo. LOL at Isshin-papa's beard... I wonder why they can't feel Ichigo's reiatsu? It seems, at least, he finally has some control over it.

At least it looks like this isn't something Aizen set up for once.
Also, when I look at the end of the last chapter and his sword compared this chapter, you can notice a difference in size of the swastika. In the last chapter, all I can see is the longer chain.

@Soupy: Wasn't it mentioned that they a person would have to be on the same level as Aizen to sense fully sense his reiatsu? Although the girl also mentioned that she could sense his and not Ichigo's as well, but if what Aizen says is true (about not being able to suppress all of it), then Ichigo has transcended the "opportunity" that Aizen wanted to "give" him?

Inoue doesn't have to get there before he dies. She's shown the ability to resurrect the dead, remember? Or rather, to reject that death. It's why Loly and Menoly were so scared of her.

It was rather odd that nobody could feel Ichigo´s presence probably means his reiatsu is waaaaaaaaaay higher then aizen or then anyone else.

I'm not sure...it is true Isshin commented that he couldn't sense Aizen, but could that be due to how massive the reiatsu was in comparison? Maybe it was just so dense that it couldn't be fully understood... I dunno, but apparently Aizens reiatsu is extremely oppressive to humans, to the point where they completely fall apart and die. But Ichigo's is somehow the opposite. I'm just impressed that Ichigo, the guy who constantly leaks massive amounts of reiatsu and can't really control it, finally seems to be able to.

I love last second entraces of the hero... have ever since the first time I saw the DBZ anime.

Observations:

- in a couple of panels, Ichigo looked a lot like inner Tensa Zangetsu

- Zangetsu's hilt now seems to run right into the gauntlet on his right hand with the chain wrapped all the way up his arm, with a seemingly enlarged guard

- Aizen throws the word evolution out there making it obvious that at least a part of his end game has been giving Ichigo plenty of opportunities to maximize his potential. Whatever Ichigo was born as, which has not yet been revealed, gives him an ability to achieve a power that intrigues Aizen, Aizen probably wants to test this power and then take it as his own

- Ichigo may have evolved past Aizen's expectations, maybe he defeated his hollow and Zangetsu to actually merge with them and finally have total control, or the true nature or source of his power has been revealed to him and has allowed him to ascend to a level beyond shikigami and hollow reatsu

Predictions:

Ichigo shows off his new abilities

Aizen evolves again, gains the upper hand (perhaps with his hypnosis ability)

Ichigo pulls out the stops and epic battle ensues

Plus Orihime and/or Onohana are one step behind, healing all left in the wake of Aizen's carnage

I'm interested to see if anyone that has faced Aizen has actually perished

Or the decades or centuries he spent in battle with his hollow and Bankai spirit, made him physically strong that he doesn't need to use Reiatsu to battle at this level, plus if he's back it means he won the battle and the only way he'd be able to win is if was at 100% wasting even an ounce of Reiatsu could have meant instant death. (Or Maybe his Reiatu is so vast it's all over the place and why Aizen can't detect it.)

This might be the first time in years that Kudo has given Ichigo the strength to battle that made sense and earned, his previous power-ups were almost freebies, If you compare Ichigo's training compared to anyone else in the Manga, or even any other Manga you never felt he earnt it, unlike now where we know he's spent years in a boot camp.

It wasn't years. Isshin himself stated that it was a little over two months. Ichigo improved so quickly because that's what he does. Urahara and Yoruichi have even commented on it: His most powerful feature is how fast he grows. From his first fight with Renji to his last fight with Byakuya was less than two weeks, and in that time, he went from having a sword that could be cut by the weakest attack, to having a BanKai.

For Ichigo, two months is more than enough.

As for the story behind his Reiatsu, I have a theory: He doesn't have any anymore. He has some unique power all to himself. He's a hybrid of Human/Shinigami/Hollow. There has to be something special about that, more than just rapid advancement or power.
