You don't have to apologise. I was giving my opinion for the entire forum in a kind way, sort of speak. Yes some fics shouldn't be recommened here because some may contain over 18 material (which should be in the special section) and this site for those who are 13+ meaning they should be reading M-Rated (unless they are mature enough)

Wait one minute, the Recommendation List is full with M-rated fics. Do you mean we shouldn't have recommended them? Or is it enough including "Sexual themes" in the Warnings?

I need knowing so I don't violate any rule accidentally.

When you recomend a fic with plot drives such as incest or the fic has a M rating, I think you'd be better off by posting a warning. H&E has members from 13 years+, and some of them won't be happy with incest or heavy sexual content, so you should at least give them a warning first so they know what they'll end up reading!

I am not talking only for me. Before I started adding links in the Recommendation thread, several smut fics had already been recommended, so I didn't think it was one violation of the rules. But from what Derock said, I thought we could have broken them unconsciously. So I needed asking.

Then, we must warn always. Understood.

Don't worry, I am not going to recommend that fic or anything with incest (I don't really read that kind of fics, either. The afomentioned fanfic has been an exception. Another member mentioned it and I felt curious). I didn't imagine suggesting that would cause this argument. Now I wish I wouldn't have opened my mouth.

I'm shutting up now before I push my foot more deeply into it.

May we go back to warn about updates, please? Human Contact , Shade of the Leaf and The Kekkei Genkai Curse have been updated.

Speaking of creepy fics...

There was one fic with SexualMolester!Sakura babysitting a younger Naruto. It was CREEPY. Couldn't read past the first chapter before getting squicked out. (And yet, I read a SasuNaru story with sort of the same premise--younger Naruto, older Sasuke--and I had no problem with it...go figure).

Anyways, um I guess to stay on topic (maybe too much on topic). Here's a mature story I found when looking for something not so angsty (what is with NaruSaku and the angst these days?)

Warning! The authore rates the story as High M/NC-17. It's pretty raunchy and plotless. Definitely not for the nieces and nephews. Also, for NaruSaku purists, there's NaruSasu in here too. No SasuSaku (despite the fact that they're dating), Sasuke is apparently too gay for it.

But imo it's pretty hot. Can't wait until chapter 3.

Some of Us Have Angels is pretty tame in comparison to some of the weird crap I've seen posted here and on FF.net. It's messed up but it's a total fantasy fic, and its not well . . . it is what it is.

But I mean have you guys failed to notice how suggestive some anime and manga are about familial incest.

Have you guys not noticed that its ALL OVER TENCHI MUYO?

Just saying, the Japanese seem to love it in their storytelling.

I love that story. It's one of my favorites.

I think it freaked me out because Sakura was the babysitter. Someone trusted her enough to keep their child safe and she's perving all over him. The breach of trust is kind of what unsettles me.

So as not to remain entirely too off topic, here's a story that was updated a while ago but it looks like a link was never posted. It's one by Selunchen123 titled Daimyo. Looks very interesting and though the author tends to like writing more drama/angst, they're all really good stories.

Now back off topic or at least on to the strange topic of the string of weird stories about incest/pedo sort of Naru/saku fics floating around. I think after having a child of my own, stories like these disturb me more. I have read part of the Sakura is a far too hormonal babysitter taking advantage of a young Naruto. When I first saw that story, it really blew my mind that someone could think to even write something like that. But TheVileOne does have a point that many Japanese anime have themes like that. There are tons of anime where an older character and a younger character are trying to figure out their feelings for each other, etc.

Though I think this fic crossed the line in having those characters physically express those feelings in a more intimate way. For the Japanese anime, you tend to see them share their feelings in a more emotional way and sometimes with a kiss or a hug. Sort of that love overcoming all feeling, but without as much of the sketchyness of the older character taking advantage of the younger one. Do I condemn all stories where an older character and a younger character are the love interests or brother and sister or the love interests? Considering that the other day I was looking up AMVs of Coco and Nozumi from Yes! Precure 5, I don't think I can rightly say that. But there are lines that shouldn't be crossed and I think some of those stories did that. Smut is still smut no matter how well you can write it.
