? She confessed because she thought it would end Naruto's obsession with Sasuke. Sai told her Naruto loved her and that she caused him pain (the promise) She told Naruto what she thought he wanted to hear. I have more faith that her honest confession will be better

Part of the problem is that we didn't have any scene of Sakura about her feelings for Naruto (because Kishi wanted to keep it a secret and idk I guess he really liked the diea of the shock value of her confession)

We have but  like I said they are cut before she figures it out but rest assure this scenes will come back when she will have her grand moment of realization kinda like Sasuke with Itachi I suspect .

I doubt Sakura is going to have an epiphany scene unless its one done before LOI

She literally lists every reason why she likes him and why she's attracted to him, it wouldn't make sense for her to realize this stuff again.

We will see imo she was unconsciously telling the truth bc she still hasn't realized that she's fully in love with him bc of her lingering feelings for Sasuke  but like I said we will see how all of this happens .

If its something she was only unconsciously aware of she wouldn't just list everything she likes about him even if that were the case, her not realizing it just by thinking about it also isn't very logical. Finally if she thought she was lying how does that count as being truthful? Weren't you agreeing with me on the whole 540 thing anyway?

Yes but  having lingering feelings for Sasuke doesn't mean still being in love , and like I said she wasn't fully aware of her feelings for Naruto bc of that and she needs to have that realization that she loves him completely and only him and why she doesn't love Sasuke .

But she already listed everything she likes about him, the feelings she has for Sasuke now are confirmed to be in the past tense. Whatever lingering feelings she has had for him died out sometime after LOI.

Her not realizing she loves Naruto and yet lying about loving him and listing all the reasons she does like him isn't the least bit consistent or realistic. The only real thing she doesn't know about Naruto is the chapter 3 with the forehead compliment and it really didn't mean that much to her anyway seeing as how "Sasuke" joked about it and said that, that would be something Naruto would say.

That shows how is done poorly and it's not going to have a logical conclusion.
 
"grew up and matured" do you realize it was a matter of 10 chapters and since the begining he already had his own reasons to bring Sasuke back regardless of the POAL.
It holds no special meaning to him .
Despite on the same battle he wanted to save Gaara because of his own reasons and seemed Gaara as an equal, meanwhile Sakura was uncounciouss and after she awoke she thanked Sasuke and in turn Sasuke said that it was Naruto her suposedly interaction with Naruto was avoided.

I said explicitely exclusing the foundation part that showed he come to love Sakura but the foundations arent strong either.
Because of Drama that exists in romantic situations, how can be taken a serious approach when most of the moments are somewhat one-sided without the other part witnessing those actions or are joke moments and holds no mutual interactions if you have noticed pratically all Sakura so called "NS"moments Naruto is either not on the scene or uncounciouss.

The moment is turned on a joke and Sakura didnt took it seriously it was a tease and it surprises me how she didnt noticed Naruto loved her despite those moments.
It just shows she didnt took it seriously.
 
Naruto uncounciouss i dont know if you're really understanding what i'm saying here, i'm talking about mutual moments and Naruto's perspective.

And the CPR, dont tell me it was somewhat a "STRONG ROMANTIC MOMENT" her thoughts towards the whole CPR things was purely platonic, Naruto was dying and she was thinking about his hokage dream that he barely touched upon when he kept saying how he wants to save Sasuke.
 
No he dodged the moment, Sakura was worried about him and he changed the topic to talk about Sasuke like he always does.
His life should not resolve around it, every turn down moment he has is connected to Sasuke even when he was training for the rasenshuriken he wanted to be strong for Sasuke while ignoring Akatsuki chasing him down.
 
Then why the hell Hinata give that speech to Naruto on 615 when she pratically had no development, and had lost anyone.

She already knew about his feelings, barely dying on realiving his burden, and that she was feeling like a trash for that.
Really there's no logic for Naruto telling Sakura that she wasnt a burden to him.
 
If he was serious when he claimed she was more or less his gf when the topic died as soon Sakura punched him and Sakura ignored that.
It was used more as a device to hide Sakura's answer and confirm a parallel.

last time i checked he passed the entire part 2 chasing Sasuke, his trained to catch up Sasuke, ignored the treat of Akatsuki 3 times to chase Sasuke and only fought against them twice because he was called to do that, he didnt fought the first fight, and the second he won with a jutsu he was training just because of Sasuke.
How Naruto the main character has his feelings for Sakura barely touched upon and developed.
he basically love Sakura since chapter 3 and deal with it there's nothing to explain.
The difference between his love for Sakura and SS is that Sakura is not like Sasuke.
 
HE's always surprised but doesnt return back.
He doesnt hug Sakura back.

I remember Itachi saying "thanks to Kushina and his friends he was made hokage".
Then Naruto thinks about his friends and no special place for Sakura, when he says he has plenty of friends and no special place for Sakura.

You can easily compare NS interactions and ObiRin and i would firmly say most of ObiRin ones are greatly superior to NS.
Because Rin directly inspired Obito to achieve his dreams and goals.

Naruto- " I will rescue Sakura-chan! ". Did you not see Naruto crawl on his chin to finish off Gaara at the end? He only stopped once Sasuke told him Sakura was safe.

So what if the conversation later was avoided? She was sure it was Sasuke who saved her and when she found out it was Naruto, it made her happy. She started seeing Naruto in a different light afterwards.

 

3) Naruto saw Sakura as someone similar to him, striving for acknowledgement and started liking her. What comes after the foundation is important as well and this is where NS trumps the other pairings. Its been consistently written positively. The moments are one-sided to continue the drama. If there was a two-sided moment there wouldn't be any pairing wars.

 

4) You need to see Naruto's expression when Sakura says she believes in him and he shouldn't lose, before his fight against Kiba.

Naruto's voice awoke Inner Sakura and helped her to overcome Ino's jutsu. No other comrade managed that.

 

5) No. Sakura is later shown to say that maybe she should have gone with him and had half a bowl of rice.

Anyway, Yes she didn't know how serious Naruto's feelings were for her. What happened when she found out? She cried her eyes out like she has never done in the manga anywhere else.

8) Neji is Hinata's cousin and it makes greater sense that she should get over the pain of losing Neji  first to shake Naruto out of his depression. Sakura wouldn't make sense in that scene.

Like you say, that scene was done to confirm Sakura as the girl Kushina hoped her son would love. What is the disappointment  you have with this scene is what I don't get.

 

11) Yes, I am annoyed just as much as you that Kishi stuffs the Naru-Sasu bromance bond down our throats. But this doesn't negate NS in any way. Naruto has made it clear many many times in the manga he loves Sakura. He doesn't need to say this every few chapters. This is not a romance manga.

 

12) He doesn't hug back because he never expected Sakura to like him. The hug after he beat Pein was his first clue that Sakura might like him.

He doesn't mention Sakura specially because right then, she was just his best friend. What did you want him to say there?! Kushina was specially mentioned because she was Minato's wife. Plus, what happened after those words from Itachi? We get the CPR where Sakura explicitly states her desire to keep Naruto and his dreams alive. Just add them together, isn't it obvious?

 

I cannot consider the claims of ObiRin developement to be superior to NS. I'm sorry but that's just complete nonsense.
