Anywho YES. Sakura needs to see Naruto suffer first hand just like she did when he went four tails. Knowing that someone's suffering and SEEING someone suffer right in front of you evokes different responses, and since the Four-Tails moment was so long ago, I feel we need a refresher. Not that I'm hoping for an epic defining moment or anything

I actually enjoyed the break from parings quite a bit. It was a great time to enjoy the series as a whole without worrying if Narusaku won't prevail. It's nice right now, some epic fights going on, some character develoupment. But It is reaching the end, and rather than having the final deciding Narusaku moment being something that's already happened I think it should be something new. I've said this in a previous thread, but Sakura still loves Sasuke. Because of that, the only way I can think of for narusaku to come in a satisfying way is for Naruto to convince Sasuke to be good again. Then after that Naruto would feel happy and accomplished expecting Sakura to go be with Sasuke. However, the twist is that after Sasuke has returned Sakura's worries are gone, and she can finally focus on Naruto. So Naruto expecting Sakura and Sasuke to be making out or something will be greatly suprised when Sakura comes to see him to tell him she loves him. I can just imagine it right now. It seems like the perfect way for Narusaku to happen given the current circumstances.

I've been going over the many ways in which NS would finally be confirmed as canon and this scenario actually seems quite possible and it would also signal that Sakura has chosen Naruto based on his own merits, not just because she couldn't be with Sasuke.

Make us two, I want Sakura to choose Naruto over a good Sasuke, but I also want someone to tell Hinata how Naruto feel for Sakura and with is personality by never giving up on anyone, he will always love Sakura.
It would be even better if she was told that by someone that has a secret crush on her (Kiba, Neji, Shino) or Lee or Sai the one that know how Naruto really feels for Sakura.

These are all variations of various ways in which NaruSaku could potentially become canon, or at the very least be on it's way to becoming canon. I'm mostly a fan of the "Naruto and Sakura sit down and have a long talk" variations. I'm not so much into big dramatic love scenes, although that could very well change.

Was Kishi involved with the OVA? If he was then the pairing war is over already. It's just a matter of waitng then.

No solid evidence that he's involved, but the fact that the OVA was made to promote Uniclo shirts + Aqua Times' new single (Mayonaka no Orchestra) speaks volume. It was packed as DVD when you buy Uniclo shirts during the promotion.

They could've drawn the entire Rookies 11, or something else, but somehow they didn't. I guess Pierot doesn't have that much control when other party (i.e. Uniclo or *maybe* Kishi) is involved. Though Japanese are not obsessed with pairings, NS is very favorable there.

No studio should have more power than the author, period! If a studio has that much power it's not good at all. It's basically the equivilant of Hollywood trying to make a movie of my books with me on the site, but not following my advise and choosing who THEY want as the actors and how THEY wantt he movie to go. As the author of the serise I should be the one who is in comand next to the director. If the directors don't follow my word there's no way they can get the characters, story plot, exc, exc in the movie and fit it in perfectly. No one knows the story or characters as well as the author. Though I'll admit, they did a pretty good job with Lord of the Rings. That's beside the point.

So if Periot has more power than Kishimoto there's a problem. And a very big one at that. But it might be different with manga...I wouldn't really know.

The author of "Hunger Games" was on site. And I know of a few other's. But I still hold my point that they can't get everything how the author sees it. Characters probably being the biggest.

J.K. Rowling was consulted with the Harry potter movies. I can't remember if she was on-set though.

I'm pretty sure that Studio Pierrot will end the anime however the manga ends. If they were going to divert from the manga, they would've done so already. I mean why else would they follow the manga for almost 10 years and still keep the same storyline going?

I want one/some/all/any of the following:

• OVA 2011 type scene
• Naruto being the one to hug Sakura (or a mutual hug at least this time )
• AN ACTUAL, HONEST, LONG HEART TO HEART DISCUSSION (no more holding back/white lies in order to protect the others feelings) (including Sakura telling Naruto that she feels she isn't doing enough for him, and Naruto telling her in response that she's helped him more than enough simply by being at his side and supporting him/showing him that she cares/ Naruto accepting her help and letting her help shoulder his burdens equally, just as his parents did)
• Another "We're in this TOGETHER"/"I'm not leaving you!" type declaration from Sakura (She did say, no matter what you say," after all)

Don't know how realistic that list is, but that's (mostly) what I'm hoping for out of NarSak by manga end.

I'd die for an NS kiss, but considering there hasn't been a single actual kiss between a canon couple yet in this series, I highly doubt we'll get it (though I'd love to be proven wrong).

And I agree about SP following manga canon - no reason for all the rating-killer fillers to not outpace the manga if they were just going to do their own thing.

No no no, Narusaku can't happen if the problem with Sasuke isn't resolved. If it does, then I wouldn't be a narusaku fan anymore, because there will always be the doubt that Naruto is 2nd best to Sasuke. Sakura needs to prove she loves Naruto over Sasuke. And the only way for that to happen is if she can choose in a calm environment, while Sasuke is no longer corrupted. Refer to my previous comment to how I think it will happen.

I hate to break it to you but Narusaku has been happening since chapter 3 of this manga. all that is required is for Sakura to realize the depth of her feelings for Naruto.

it just doesnt make sense for it to happen like that. Kishi has put all this time into stressing that Sakura has feelings for both Naruto and Sasuke. Why would he just ignore one of them entirely? if kishimoto screws this up then I ill hate narusaku because it might as well just be fanservice, not a story.

I never mention a specific time. It could be before, or after Naruto and Sasuke's fight. WTH, it can take Naruto's death or near death state by the hand of Sasuke's ultimate Susanoo to realize Sasuke was never the one for her. And Sasuke will still be the villain and killed off, so there will be no doubt that Naruto is her second best.

Once again, I reiterate, Naruto's relationship with Sakura has never been a "second best" type since the very beginning. The relationship she has had with Sasuke, even before part 1, was never influenced by Sasuke decision. Sakura has not decided to get with Naruto just because Sasuke is gone. It's never been hinted at or thought about.

Technically, Sakura already chose to keep Naruto rather than even hope for Sasuke to return.

NS is not canon, but it's well on it's way, and I don't think Sasuke's situation needs to really be resolved. There just has to be a situation where she has to officially chose between the two in a more obvious light since people ignore her decision to kill Sasuke just to release Naruto of her curse.
