Lol. I have been  back tracking the interviews after TL post interview to the jump festa, and it seems Kishi is very sultry and depressed because he sold out Sakura's soul to the devil after his assistant was silenced from the fans a second time after the Kobayashi interview, stating that the reason why Sakura was hated because he failed to make Sakura get over Sasuke.

 

And you noticed after Junko told Kishi to shut up in a polite way, Kishi admitted he spontaneously and like Sakura when his earlier interviews he said he like Hinata more. The fans' backlash has reached him and the poll they spammed on the assistance twitter, showed that Sakura was higher ranked than Hinata.

 

Kishi must have kicked the bucket, and to my believe that Sakura was perhaps his last straw for caring for his work. He thought the entire community hated Sakura because she wasn't pretty enough to be popular and he tried to draw her like a Hollywood actress. He never knew her feelings for Sasuke was the reason why she was being hated the most. It shows how dumb he is.

True, but in what way like Naruto? If she's referring to the lighthearted jokester who she criticised but deep down appreciated for making her happy then she's out of luck no matter the era we're referring to. Even childhood Sasuke with the support of his family was usually meek and earnest with a sense of inferiority towards his brother but still retaining his strong familial pride. Hardly the sort of personality that would mesh with a simple girl from a generic clan who enjoys comical bits and playful conversations that interest someone like Naruto.

Loooool I read a funny prediction on 2ch.

Hinata gets kidnapped in the new Boruto movie. Boruto tried to rescue his mother but Sasuke intervenes and tries to help Boruto.
Boruto: Why are you helping us?
Sasuke: Because I used to be in love with your mother.

 
Yes, I completely agree. They look so unhappy. And it's so across-the-board, all the characters are disappointed in some way, that it can't be just a fluke. Kishimoto intentionally made them look older, tired and disappointed on some level. There were no happy endings. There was no surpassing of the previous generations. There was none of the big satisfaction in seeing Naruto achieve his goals. The last time we see Naruto acting like himself was when he was speaking to Sakura at the end of the battle, thanking her. The next time he is stern with Sasuke and then it's years later and he's stern with Bolt. Naruto's happy character was just done away with.
 
Yes, the only one who stayed young and dewy and happy looking was Hinata. A strong case could be made for the whole thing being Hinata's IT, or any of chatte's magnificent theories. The ending is so incongruent with the rest of the story. And the only one who seems to benefit the most is Hinata.

As for the rumor that the novel really focuses on SS's shortcomings and Sakura's wishing Sasuke was different, I can easily see how the rumor could be true. They have no reason to treat Sakura equally as Hinata. The two pairings are not seen as the same, and there seems to be a big push to make Sakura irrelevant.
 
So to hear that they have written Sakura as yearning in some small way for what Naruto and Hinata have makes sense. They are going to try to put down SS in any way they can. It can't be NH and SS are equally blissfully happy. Sakura's ends up a single mom who wishes for what NH has. Sasuke is not even roped in on the blame or the pain. Just Sakura. 
 
NH has to be the top, idyllic couple. SS has to take the back seat. And framing it this way, where Sakura is the one wishing for more, while Sasuke clearly is doesn't care enough to stick around for a relationship, is just another form of Sakura bashing from Kishimoto's handlers. Even in her own novel. 

This novel is becoming more and more like my prediction Sakura novel where Sakura compares herself to the beautiful, powerful, loved princess Hinata and feels miserable.

But that's a good thing. The more they try the more numbers of antis will grow. (As if it wasn't huge enough already)

She was comparing to her relationship with Sasuke to NaruHina's relationship because they seem happy and Sasuke is no where to be found (LOL).

 

I think Child Sasuke would be combatable with Sakura as they both seeked acknowledgement (Like Naruto/Sakura) and Sasuke wasn't nearly as serious as he was Post Massacre, and I don't think Sakura has shown enjoying Naruto jokes though she obviously liked how he cheered her up.
