Kishimoto is totally clumsy
Remember when he said he tried showing sakura as a honest girl during the confession? When he got annoyed when people kept saying "Hinata, Hinata, Hinata "?

In my opinion he tried to pass something to the readers but we didn't got it

Even today i don't understand what was the point of that confession! Wouldn't be easier for sakura if she talked to naruto using the arguments Shikamaru used?
What was the point of confessing? Kishimoto saying she was honest then after the end saying changing her feelings would have made her look fickle? Makes no sense

The point of her confession was all because she thought Naruto was going after Sasuke purely for her sake, because of his POAL. Fans were constantly blaming Sakura for "burdening" Naruto with the POAL, but if that scene managed to achieve anything, it was to show Naruto wasn't chasing after Sasuke because of his promise to Sakura. It was because of their brotherly bond.

Also, there was no convincing Naruto to give up on Sasuke with Shikamaru's facts and logic. The Raikage said the same thing to Naruto and it didn't sway him at all.

It honestly looks bad on Sakura if you think that Naruto saving Sasuke was 99.5% about her, given how much grief Sasuke has caused him. Like their relationship or not, the whole story was about Naruto changing people, and the ultimate final boss he had to change was Sasuke.

The day Naruto fell in love with Sakura was only something the US shounen jump did, I think. For fun.

Oh this is pretty cool, thanks for sharing that with us! Wouldn't it be funny that after Kishi changing the main pairing just so has can make money, the movie flops big time?   I don't think it will, though, because I still believe a lot of people like Hinata and the rest who don't are still going to watch the movie hoping they get some kind of explanation,

I agree that Sasuke cared for Karin during that time because they were teammates. Sasuke can care for people when they are officially working as a team and on the same side.

But I think what shisui and Aizen-sama is saying is that it was never romantic. Hence, she's not a threat, she's like Suigetsu or Juugo.

It seemed like to me Karin was made to be an Uzumaki for the sole reason for pairing her up with Sasuke. She was meant to be so similar to fangirl!Sakura that she was a replacement of sorts. But people didn't like her.

NH fans not giving a eff about Hinata wanting to become stronger, more confident, being acknowledged by her dad and clan and getting rid of the curse tradition. Essentially what the series and her character were about... True fans my ass

Yes, because she actually ended up with the abusing a**hole, therefore negating all her development and any credibility as a heroine she had left. That makes her worse by default.
 
At least Karin got an explanation for her liking Sasuke (a bad one, but at least Kishi tried there). All Sakura ever got was "love doesn't need a reason".

Actually, the reason was "Sakura would be a terrible character if she changed her love interest".

Errr, no. Kishimoto flat out confirmed her pairing fodder status in the latest interview. The fact that she's portrayed as nothing but a housewife in the epilogue tells you all you need to know about what her goals in life really were.
 

So don't make Naruto overly obsessed with Sasuke to begin with. It's unacceptable how a total a**hole got away with just a slap on the wrist and even got what the main character pursued for a good portion of the manga. The Sasuke wank from Kishimoto is ridiculous and completely ruined this series.
 

Such accomplishments resulted in no growth in personality or character, so it doesn't matter. If I can't sympathize with a character's goals (especially when it's the heroine of the story), that character is a failure in my book.
 
It's not like she had to end up with Naruto. Just don't revert her to her Part 1 self and have her pathetically trying to abandon her family and friends for a guy who always treated her badly.

Sakura becoming Sasuke's housewife is literally Kishimoto pushing her aside to give NH more credibility. The assistant said it himself, NH was decided ages ago, but SS was still up in the air.

That girl that blushed what Sasuke poked her in the head, despite all he put her through? No one here is disputing that the ending was garbage, but it certainly was not what her main goal in life throughout the story. Remember "watch my back"?

The ending should be tossed out based on inconsistencies alone. I'm somewhat baffled that the answer to parental neglect is "endure it", and I'm not exactly sure how having a forest of overcrowded skyscrapers actually addresses any of the social problems the manga has out forward.

I know the ending,i know NH is canon,I know it's over,i know trollmoto approved movie to be NH and canon but then why am i still hoping for NS to be canon in the movie.

 

Why i am still hoping for a surprise,on what basis am i hoping for this,i just don't understand.Why do i have a little hope inside me.

Haha you're not alone. I'm still here hoping Kishi just trolled us all really hard even though I know there is very very little hope of that ever happening. I won't watch the movie but I'll definitely read spilers on what's happening. It might make me depressed all over again but oh well, I'll just yolo it!

We're all suffering. =| Speaking from someone who's suffered from depression, I can tell you the physical pain I feel from this, especially in the morning, is just as bad, albeit not as long.

NH may be canon, but at least we can laugh at how terrible it has been. Future fans will scratch their heads reading the manga looking for NH or SS development... Only to find none. The ending manga will be the poster boy as probably the one of the worst there is, and what's worse, it's all because the author is a misogynist.
