NS would die, we would all be very sad, Naruto would loose it and question the worth of his own existence which will ultimatly lead to suicide but not before he kills Sasuke.

I am not so sure ... if he forgives Sasuke (well he would still mop the floor with him , but not kill him ) , that would make him better than Obito .. And another thing ... is it so farfetched for Naruto to somehow unlock Rinegan and revive her ? There are hints that he is somehow connected to the 6 paths Sage , mostly from Kurama .

@Striker - well , Sasuke is not too far from insane , plus that it would not be on purpose , if it does happen it will be in form of Sakura getting between Sasuke and Naruto (like the hospital roof scene )

A sign that Naruto will fudge him up if he really hurts her or worse. Don't think he will kill but the mind in him will come across. I don't remember but I think Naruto would have kill Gaara if he doesn't let Sakura go. It's like "Ok, I beat him badly, but he's not letting her go. Fine. One rule to break. I'll kill him if I have to."

I'm not backing up the whole Sakura's death theme, I'm just saying that Naruto will go extreme (not killing but over the limit power) if Sakura was to get hurt. I feel that Kishi purposely had Sakura dodging all the attack so far, with the exception of the small blast, though she's ok. If she gets attacked by an individual like Obito, it's game over for him.

I agree with Kirabook here, and not everyone is worrying about it. What bugs me a bit is how some people who are really expressive, and actually like hearing opinions on certain things have to tread lightly because unfortunately, some people get too caught up in what's being talked about when it's really not a big deal.

IMO, some people should be more open to discussion, and stop getting so riled up over nothing. Many topics have been brought up NUMEROUS times so why knock people discussing the what ifs around Sakura's death? We've talked about the confession numerous times, and the hug scene, and the bridge scene, etc. People have thrown out "what if" soooo much, and they're entitled to...

Hmm, so i suggest with "some people" you mean me, so then first of all im not getting rilled up about anything in here. Im pointing out the fact that this negative theme has bee brought up again 100 times and will lead soon enough to the "naruto dying" theme and people starting to worry again. Im trying to prevent this, since its always happening that way.

I think its funny that people believe that i get caught up by themes like this, when iam one of the few members who stays positive as soon as we get a chapter with hinata focus and everyone in here goes "abandon ship".

Yeah I agree with you all the way, naruto qould definitely go that far for his sakura-chan, but if obito does strike sakura, I expect a badass fight f4om sakura and I expect her to do a great deal of damage on obito, probably if she gets her power up.Then when obito lands a not-so-fatal blow on sakura, which naruto thinks its a death blow, he might go killer-mode and you know what happens after that.

Well this has been on my mind for a while so I figured I`d post it and see what you guys think.

Glosary:

PU - Power units (a basic shinobi power unit made for the purpose of comparison)

First heres a list of Narutos power levels:

1. Pre-shadow clones [0,5 PU]
2. Shadow clones [10 PU]
3. Summoning jutsu [30 PU]
4. First stage kyuubi mode [ 50 PU]
5. Primitive kyuubi chakra mode (red chakra) [20]
6. Rasengan[50]
7. No tail cloak [ 60]
8. 1 tail cloak [100]
9. 2 tail cloak [ 120]
10. 3 tail cloak [150]
11. 4 tail cloak [200]
12. 7 tail cloak [230]
13. 8 tail cloak [250]
14. Fuuton rasen shuriken [200]
15. Sage mode [500]
16. Kyuubi chakra mode [750]
17. Full kyuubi chakra mode [1000]

Those are the basic power stages of naruto. You may notice that the tailed-beast cloak is ranked kinda low, but that is because Naruto has almost no control over it.
But what happens when you put Sakura into the equation.
When Naruto was fighting Gaara he was only in his third stage. The only real weapon he had was the always impressive Tajuu Kage Bushin no jutsu. But Gaara was a fully powered Jinjuuriki. So would it be enough under normal circunstances. I think Gaara at that time should be ranked at 100 PU. Shikaku is the least powerfull of the bijuu but its still a tailed beast.

Before I talk about Sakuras impact I would just like to point out that Narutos power is not free. The shadow clones are only as powerfull as he is, the summoning may or may not work, rasengan is freaking hard to perform (not anymore but its S-ranked), Fuuton rasen shuurinken can destroy your arm, primal kyuubi powers can kill you or shorten your life span, Sage mode doesnt last long and could turn you into a frog, Kyuubi chakra mode could also kill you if you run out of it. So Naruto doesnt have a get out of jail free card like Sasuke with his Eternal Mangekyou.

Now as for Sakura. I agree with RomanceGirl when she said that Narutos overprotectivnes of Sakura is cute (not her exact words). Given the chance the guy would take a cannon shot for her. The way the human body works is that our muscle power is bound by or mental state. Thats what adrenalin does, it gives you the extra boost needed to survive when your scared.

Now lets say that Narutos power is a tap (faucet). When he fights you open it half way so you get a decent water flow. And you have all the water you need. Now when Sakura is in danger that tap is turned to full power, the preasure is increased and you have an insane ammount of water preasure. Now lets assume that she actually dies. If that happens than the tap that keeps his power in control in gone. Like someone just tore it off. Then you have raw preasure and power flowing all over the place with no way to stop it.

Thats why Sakura need to stay alive. Naruto must never get to powerful or it gets unrealistic. Sakura is the one that can release the power and ultimatly close it. If Gaara hadn`t let her go when they were both out of chakra then I am sure Naruto would get up and finish the job to save her. So yea his ultimate power is not Kurama or Senjutsu, Fuuton-rasen shuriken , but his desire to protect Sakura. If you all remember Shadow clones were an espionage technique. And he was able to take on Gaara`s 3/4 bijuu form with just that.

Also about the look he gave Sasuke while saving Sakura. I belive it meant two things:

1. What have you become?
2. You can try to kill me but she is off limits.

He also made it clear to him that the next one to hurt her will be the last.

So thats why I belive that Sakura will not die.








But seriusly, the way he keeps protecting her. Isn`t it sweet?

It has nothing to do with being 'positive', 'negative' or whatever. You believe that it's negative proves Strider's point. When people discuss things like the death of a character, we aren't being negative about it. It's a discussion, there's nothing wrong with thinking of all the possibilities and expanding on them. You're being close minded by labeling a discussion "positive" or "negative" just because you don't like discussing the possibility of such.

Same thing happened when people discussed how NH could ever be canon or if Sakura didn't end up with Naruto and -insert other topics-

Im totally chilled, it has nothing to do with you guys beeing negative about it. Ive seen it happen often enough, its starts like this as a simple discussion how it would be if sakura dies. After some time people make up their mind about it and suddenly they see this huge possiblility of sakura dying and start worrying. Some people google it and find fake interviews or fake discussions which say something like kishi planned to kill sakura and the whole thread goes totally crazy until something prooves that all this was fake.

Just trying to prevent this, if its even possible.

And I wish I had a girl like Sakura. But its funny when I was your age (that was last year in the 9th grade) I knew a girl who was a hopeless romantic. That statement kinda reminded me of her. I am however happy that there are girls who fall for the Naruto types instead of the 1D clowns. Your still young keep looking
