You know, you should really calm down and find out why they changed everything first. I heard GameInformer has the information on what Sucker Punch did to Cole.... I am annoyed at making it look like a reboot though, but we'll see...
Oh and Cloud, maybe you should update the poll in something E3 related?

The PS3 hardware beats Xbox but XBL beats PSN

XBL may beat PSN but PSN+ seems like win to me.

I'm watching some of the live stage show on Gamespot and they're showing off some good games so far.

Has it even came out yet? I've checked my PS3 and haven't receive any updates for the new program.

I don't really see any reason to get PSN+ aside from getting into betas sooner.... Rumors however that cross chat is available for PSN+ users and they can invite anyone in the chat despite the other friends not having PSN+.

I've heard that...

But it won't make my live complete for reviving my DC games (well, all I need is SA2, Sonic Shuffle and Power Stone available then it will be complete) wink.gif

The new MK trailer look awesome, plus there is a tag team. And it set for only characters up to MK3/Trilogy. While I do see the new characters from DA up to Armeggedon, but they are mostly background characters like SNK did for their characters for KOFXIII.

MK9 will also have a combo/power up meters like Street Fighter far deadlier combos.

I don't really see how PSN+ wins you just get into beta's sooner and if the cross game chat is true well XBL already has that.

It will also have more free downloadable content since your paying for the added service.

Here's a summary from the Playstation Blog of what PSN+ includes. However, it doesn't include cross game voice chat.

QUOTE
PlayStation Plus is a service that lives on top of the current PlayStation Network. So, while users will continue to have free access to PlayStation Network’s unmatched and ever-growing suite of new and exclusive content, services, and community focused tools – just as they do today – PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain access to an exclusive set of features and content designed specifically for gamers.

When you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, you’ll get free games and DLC (pretty sweet), frequent discounts on PlayStation Store, early invitations to select betas of popular games, and free monthly episodes of Qore – our high-definition, interactive gaming lifestyle show. You’ll also enjoy new functionality such as Full Game Trial where you can “try before you buy” – play a Blu-ray or PSN game for up to one hour and then you can buy the game, download it and keep your progress and trophies. Another cool feature is Automatic Downloads that will push select demos, game related videos, patches and firmware updates to your PS3 so you don’t have to think about it. Total it up and you’ll get hundreds of dollars of value through the year with exclusive digital content from both our World Wide Studios Group and our publishing partners. And every month we’ll be adding new content and continually adding new features, making PlayStation Plus an incredible value, time saver and ticket to front-of-the-line access.

At launch, PlayStation Plus will offer subscribers the full PlayStation Network game, WipEout HD, full game trial of inFAMOUS, PSP minis and PS One Classics such as Fieldrunners, Age of Zombies and Rally Cross, as well as premium avatars, themes and DLC levels and map packs. Additionally, subscribers will always have access to their virtual library of free games for as long as they keep their PlayStation Plus subscription. In all, subscribers will get an unprecedented amount of value, access and convenience and, in the first month alone, will receive more than $50 worth of content.

PlayStation Plus will be available for a yearly fee of $49.99. We are also running a “limited time offer” giving subscribers 3 free bonus months for signing up for a yearly subscription – so those who
sign up now will get 15-months of PlayStation Plus. Consumers also have the option to subscribe for 3 months for $17.99.

I have high hopes for the new Zelda but i was hoping for a Twilight Princess realistic art graphics and sequel, i guess this new hybrid graphics will grow on me.

Dang it Nintendo, why didn't you make a Wii HD to complete the awesome conference? 111193.gif

Zelda's visual style changes with every game to keep it fresh. It looks pretty colorful, I like it. To each his own though. Concerning a Wii HD, they don't really need it. The Wii will continue to sell, and now they've got some good titles coming from their first party developers so they'll be fine. PS Move is the closest thing you'll get to a Wii HD.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since the original was awesome, but I can't say I'm in love with the new look either.

EDIT:Valve plans to have cross-platform co-op between PS3 and PC/Mac for Portal 2. Great News! CAKE!

Great news on Portal 2 cross-platform. I guess Gabe took some of his hate off the PS3? (Some, not all.)

And PSN+? Subscribed once I get a job. $49.99 a year and I get free DLC and games? My money's going to Sony... sorry XBL. You're not my favourite anymore.

When they mean "free games" are they talking about only the playstation network centric games or full fledged retail games that you can purchase online?

It seems like full fledged retail since it mentioned Infamous other then that $50 a year + free DLC and games? I was iffy about selling my xbox but now consider it sold tongue.gif

I'd rather pay 50 bucks a year and get free DLC/games than pay 60 dollars a year and still have to pay in MS points for DLC.

That makes no sense though. Game developers would be losing millions of dollars if they allowed retail games to be delivered free on PSN+
That's $50 - $60 a game per person they would be losing out on. So it must be 'free' independent games or really cheap non-retail games.
