Hey guys. Wow I'm so conflicted. Needless to say I love this chapter but my emotions are heavy. Because a part of me is so happy that Todoroki is coming into terms with himself but the other half is so upset that Bakugou won the tournament. But let's put this into perspective:
One could say that Bakugou v. Deku was the other way around. Bakugou won the match but Deku overall won the mission. And now with Bakugou v. Todoroki, Todoroki really won the match but Bakugou won the tournament.
So I'm looking at this as a unique way to deconstruct shounen battles in general. In the end, everyone gains something out of the battle, whether it's disappointment or a revelation. And besides, now that Bakugou was blasted all over the country he won't have many fans, unlike Todoroki who probably will.
Also, thank the heavens above that a villain didn't interrupt the match. Like really. Thank you.

So you expected Todoroki to win?
Bakugou... To me, he has become interesting as of lately- I just didn't want him to win, lol XD

I know Bakugou is ridiculously interesting. But yeah I really wanted Todoroki to win overall because Bakugou needs a nice, tender butt whoopin'. He needs to realize that he's not the greatest or he's gonna suffer from the "Saitama Syndrome"- when you're so powerful that you become bored from fighting.

First of all, dat One-Punch Man reference
Ok, I thought b/c you love Bakugou so much that you were rooting for him, but I was wrong, lol.
Yeah, but it's good that it's far from being the kind of victory he wanted. And he actually analyzed Todoroki's abilities a bit before the fight.

I've got a theory maybe this will shape Bakugou's character for the better in terms of development.

Lol I like Bakugou, but he's definitely not my favorite. Uraraka and Mei are. I just think people judge him too harshly before he's had any development. Kind of reminds me when Ken Kaneki was dubbed one of the worst protagonists before he met Jason. Only time will tell for Bakugou's character.
But if anything I think this chapter shows that Bakugou isn't just some beefhead idiot. He has wits, probably not as much as Deku though.

Write it out in detail! I want to know.

For all the OchaDeku fans out there Ria found this on reddit and thought about letting me share this with ya'll:
Once again, I'm not crazy about the shippings here yet, but time will tell.
Give the creator my compliments!!

Kouhei's updated his twitter:
Looks like KaminarixJirou (KamiJi) is going to be one of Kouhei's main ships. I see he's learned from Mashima-sensei and learned what NOT to do from Kishi.
Oh, here's a nice treat for Marvel fans:
I recall Watsuki being a huge Marvel fan too, so it makes you hope Watsuki can share him advice on how to write a masterpiece on par with RK.

Volume 4 Cover:
This one is definitely my favorite one from the ones that came out before it.
At the same time each Volume cover just keeps getting better and better.
