If there is indeed a Part 3 I could easily see Boruto and Sarada together. Hopefully Kishi or Sp depending on who's doing a Part 3, won't do the same mistake twice, that's to say putting so many love triangle when you don't know how to handle them so that the end pairing is clear. Because I read a comment that compare that ending to a shojo ending but the difference is that in shojo you clearly know with who the girl will end up whatever the love triangle is. 

 

it' is not a third part. it's just a mini series who will last only a few of chapters.

Well this is how I feel...

Do you really think Kishi catered to the fanbase? Let's say that he did cater to the fanbase, he could have still tied those loose ends.
-He didn't really show Naruto ending the cycle of hatred.
-What happened to Orochimaru? Or Suigetsu with that mystery scroll?
-What about the foreshadowed Sakura's genjutsu ability and surpassing of Tsunade?
All these things could have happened even WITH a NH/SS ending. If he were catering to the fanbase shouldn't he have tightened those loose ends. Most fans are story fans, not pairing fans. It doesn't make sense that he catered to the pairing fans over the story fans.

 

That or executive meddling.  Those are the only things that explain this ending.  Or Kishimoto comes back with a "Team 7 was in the end trapped in IT", and the true ending comes after they break out.

 

That just shows how shipping turned more more important than the actual story and characters themselves.  Sakura as we feared regressed.  We have SaixIno and ChoujixKarui together when they had barely interacted by the former and none at all by the later.  The only ship that makes sense is ShikaTema, and that had the minimum amount of hints.  The conclusion of the war was really rushed, just to go to this time-skip epilogue where even then much of what happened just came out of nowhere.  Suddenly, everyone has kids, and Naruto is already Hokage.  We don't see his acceptance to the job or how the higher-ups decided to select a genin for the position.  It was mostly just pairings and more pairings in 700.

Agreed so many loose ends its ridiculous. What is narutos plan for peace we got sasukes not narutos. Did he obtain true lasting peace or is it temporary and when he dies its over? And where is team taka? Aaaaahhhhhhhhh this is horrible.

Frigg the children naurto and sakura become so unhappy in their daily lives in part3 without each other that they eventually meet up and give us the famous bench scene. Sakura realizing it was naruto after all this time will finally realize how stupid she is and confess and naruto who goes by everyday with a woman he doesn't really love can't help but want that one moment in their childhood that should have been and they finally kiss on the bench.

What if after this kitten ending there is a massive boicot in japan and Pierrot have to give a diferent ending in the anime?
