There is a story about a war with aliens in future, where boy got into time-lupe so he got killed everyday and reverted back to beggining of day, he was killed because he was new in army and it was his first mission with squad, so he decides that only way to survive and got out of lupe - make it through battlefield, so all he is goint to do - is kill enough and gain expirience... That's for beggining, There is also female there and their situation is intresting. It's 16 chapters and already finished, so if you intrested go and find it  :pimp:

I'm not really disappointed at the Hollywood adaptation. Emily Blunt is really suited as Rita.

That sounds like The Edge of Tomorrow which tagline is "Live. Die. Repeat". Is it the same work? Maybe the movie is based on what you're talking about?
