As best as I can say without sounding sexist, I do believe the female demographic is taking over way too many other products. Well, I shouldn't say it like that but those who has love in mind. Like if The Last came out with female demographic taking a huge effect, the rating would have been way low. I believe that.

I understand bad storywriting but for me, stories that are aimed at a younger demographic, need to be more socially aware and should not include messages that could be detrementle to their mental development.
 
Shades of Grey is aimed at adults, and adults should know the difference between fiction and reality, though I do think with Fifty the sh*tty story is not the fault here (because ther are housands of sh*tty stories like these out there, you just have to see the crap that's popular on ff.net,)  but the social acceptable message this story is being portrayed, I don't think the media has done a good enough job in warning the public about content of the movie, my sister in law watched the movie thinking it was a angsty romance, she was shocked at the display of abuse and rape in the movie...I first heard of the series when it became the best seller, and yet I'd never heard of it, and up until I read posts on Chatte Tumblr page I thought the series was just soft porn, that women liked to read. I didn't see anything wrong with it, never did I think the plot was as disturbing as it was.
 
The issue I had with Naruto and Papa's ending is it's not aimed at the younger more impressional demographic, both stories it was a girl who liked a boy and the boy never showed any interest and you get to the end and that's the final pairing. In both the male charactor is seen struggling trying to impress the girl they like, and we see the girls feelings change, yet somehow that magicially becomes non-existant, and we don't get an explaination, Funny thing was I went to AnimeSuki to confirm the end and one of the first posts I read was comparing the two endings.
 
 

 
Romance is good when the charactors are treated as humans and not a measure of a persons popularity.

I noticed that too. We all know popularity c plays a role in who gets with who which should not be the case. Romance in anime is like game show in a way

Speaking of popularity, it surprise me when I read in Wikipedia that Marie Anthony was the heroine in rose of Versailles before popularity and fan choose oscar as the heroine. I thought lady oscar is the heroine from the start.

Um...Usagi Drop ended with the MC marrying his adopted daughter, the adopted daughter who is the actual daughter of his grandfather, he married his biological aunt.

 

Wasn't a big fan of the ending, but Rin was not related to Diachi that is just what she and Diachi believed at first she was not the child of his Grandfather. the Grandfather just took her in because her mother could not care for her.

I look even less forward to BS spawn admittedly.  What a sad effing excuse replacement for NS and an even more garbage attempt to arrange a NaruSasu preggers. I feel like VOMITING out my own intestines.
