and i dont see THAT in fairy tail......hmmmm i wonder why.

Hasn't that been that Gray's biggest personality quirk since his introduction? I definitely feel like I've seen his butt more often than the butts I actually wanna see. XD

If you enjoy One Piece, and Fairy Tail, then i'm sorry it's not going to happen. Sex sell, plain simple fact, look at new manga's they will almost always within the first 25 Chapters have a fanservice chapter, this is usually also an indication of their manga not doing well, so they'll have an onsen chapter to bolster the manga's popularity. In Fairy Tail though it's probably more of a bonus for the (male) fans for their constant support.

Besides atleast you can say FT is one of the few Manga's that caters as much for the female audience as the male. Grey is constantly losing his closes.

Lyon/Juvia/Gray: Complicated love triangle. Lyon knows he loves Juvia. Juvia knows she loves Gray. Gray doesn't know who he likes. Juvia thinks Gray likes Lyon, and has no clue what to do with Lyon's intrusion on them.

Jella/Erza: Awkward "it's okay if you touch my boobs but we probably still shouldn't go out" stage.

Ever/Elf: "They're so going out." Probably the most canon of them at this point.

Levy/Gajeel: We're having fun together! They're at the "silly pictures" phase.

NaLu: Lucy seems to be realizing accepting that she likes Natsu. Natsu is still being Natsu, so who knows where that will go.

Even Cana got to hang out with the Quattro Cerberus boys, which gives me a lot of hope at the possibility of canon Cana/Bacchus. *squee*

Not to rain on the parades of the other ships, but there's a reason that the first five of this are what I consider the "traditional" pairings of the series at this point. They've got canon stamped all over them.

one piece isnt as bad as fairy tail. OP puts nami in decent clothes often. (she has a bikini now, which im fine with, its not like she flaunts it like lucy would)

its not so much what they wear though.......the angles....why does there gotta be a sky shot on the girl everytime they shows up????

That's because of them all, NaLu would be the very last one to get resolved, since they're the main characters... and the first two to meet in the series.

Are there any violent pairing wars in FT fandoms? I think Hiro purposely set up pairings instantly and made it damn obvious to avoid silly pairing wars like in Naruto fandoms. Don't know if that's a good thing or not since the pairings didn't really receive proper developments. Except for NaLu and JellalXErza of course. Its more like a high school couple kinda thing where someone had a crush on this other someone and the whole school declared them as a couple rather then both of them developing feelings gradually over time.

I'd disagree, I think the pairing in Fairy Tail get allot development, we have Grey and Juvia, which has been gradual because of Grey's unwillingness to commit to a relationship (wish we knew why though) and Juvia's innitial shy nature, but now she's more agressive approach, and now with Lyon showing instert we are seeing a jeolous Grey, then we have Levy/Gajeel, this relationship started on the different sides of the battlefield with her being beaten and hung unconcious to a tree in the centre of town by him, then progressed ti him protecting her when Laxus's attack was going to hit her, then during the the S Class exam he was the one who gave her confidence in her abilty. All the relationships began with some conflict, and the whole opposite's attact mentality, we have Lucy the typical normal girl, and then Natus the class clown. Juvia, the shy and (originally) completely covered female and then Grey the outspoken (unplanned) exhabitionist, then ofcourse sweet nice girl Juvia and bad boy Gajeel. the pairings might be typical, but it works and leads to some great comic humour as well.

I do wonder though why was Lisanna brought back? Nearly everyone had someone or a potential someone, but Lisanna I still don't know if she was brought back for the purpose of Hiro wanting to just bring hr back or if he has a plan with her, it's been odd so far to bring her back, and there has been close to no interaction between her and Natsu, considering how close they were before.

There are some pretty fierce wars over in the fanfic world. I've gotten several nasty and bitter reviews about my NaLu stuff, at which point I had to sit down and lecture one of the reviewers in an author's note about how real relationships in the real world work (if the person you love is not also one of your best friends, you're doing it wrong.)

And yeah, there is a sort of subset that are strongly against the "traditional" pairings I outlined. They want NaLi, GrayLu, NaRza, LoLu, GrErza, and any other combo of stuff. To each their own; NaLi is probably the closest to canon besides NaLu, although Mashima chose to make Lyon/Juvia/Gray the love triangle, and Lisanna herself has sort of rolled over and given up on Natsu Grey/Erza and Natsu/Erza I just don't get. Lucy/Loke... okay yeah, Loke would die for her, but I don't think she's really into him that way. Gray/Lucy has a very minor amount of canon support (Gray admitted he was slightly attracted to her via Gemini) but Lucy has shown zilch interest in him that way as well, from everything I can tell. (For one thing, Juvia would kill her.) For some reason, Mirajane/Laxus and Cana/Laxus are the two favorite pairings with him and they fight each other a bit. I was in the Mira/Fried camp until we had confirmation he's gay, and now I'm not sure who she ought to be with Cana/Laxus has... no basis in canon as far as I can tell. I think Fried/Laxus has more support!

In the "Naked Blue Pegasus" special, Fried is staring pretty appreciatively at the nekkid boys of PG. There have been other hints as well: During the Tenrou Island arc, Bixlow chided him for letting Cana and Lucy think his "weakness" was women, as it would be such a huge stretch for him. And he has big gooey eyes whenever he talks about Laxus.

I don't think Mashima will ever come right out and say it, but you don't stare appreciatively at naked men like that unless you like naked men.

Well, it's never been said openly that he is gay, but he aways kind of showed an exagerated dedication for Laxus and in that special chapter were that girl poses naked for the sourcerer magazine, there were some members of her guild that also posed naked and we see Fried looking at their pictures with some unhealthy interest.

So wonder if it was a coicidence that two manga wthin a couple of weeks from each other, published in different magazines had the same idea of a silent chapter? Though Naruto did a much better job of it. this was as filler as they come.

I was going to post it this morning but I didn't had the time. Yeah, when I realized it was a silent chapter I knew Mashima was using the same idea as Kishimoto. This chapter wasn't really impressive. The only thing I noted is that it reminds me a lot of Dragon ball. The same concept: Guy travels around, finds a village harassed by an ugly monster, then he goes into a cave, kick it's ass and saves the day.
