Yes, we'll probably keep the separate chapter thread, just like we used to do for the mangas. That works well, so lets stick with it. And this thread will still be here for general discussion and comparison (and rage!), while in depth conversations about the new generation or the character can be contained in the chapter threads.

 

That way, if people want to steer clear of the new chapters and continue talking about Naruto and NS, they don't have to be bombarded with chatter about the next gen stuff.

 

That's the biggest reason not to just dump it all in one thread — that we are first and foremost an NS site. So we need to make sure there are areas that are a safe haven for NS discussion, along with threads where others can go in-depth about NH and their spawn.

You do know Kishi didn't plan all of this, right? So why are we trying to make sense?

Constant Pursuing is not all that matters you do realize that tight !? Being there for the person in every step of the way is what counts to , and Naruto did that and was winning Sakura's heart by the things he did for her and the way he was  he was selfless when it come to his love for Sakura . Sasuke Kuning and  Naruto Kuning all the time with selfish intentions  is not pursuing or even remotely counts as development  they can do that all they want but that is no way how you develop or set an canon relationship from a literature point of view it only makes it look ridiculous shallow and disgusting ugh! .  And we all know why Naruto wasn't allowed to "Pursue"   or "Confess" after the war  now do we !? While I'm not too fond of SS or NH, I don't think Sakura/Hinata's love are selfish, Sakura literally said that she "would take all Sasuke's pain if she could" and Hinata smiled when Sakura hugged Naruto.....

Because Naruto knew Sakura liked Sasuke, he showcased his love for her by trying to make her happy instead of pursuing her. It was the right thing to do, and those dates were not serious. And Hinata didn't confess to make a relationship out of it, she answered Naruto's question, and she wanted it out of her chest before she died.

I'm not saying that Hinata/Sakura were good in their loves, I was responding to the orignail comment which was that Hinata was lazy but Naruto was hardworking in love, and yeah I know Naruto is selfless.

Sorry dude but please show me where was that selflessness for 690  chapters !?  Bc the Retcon Kikitten did for the end starts from right there 693  and that was not shown during 690 chapters of writing . And Sakura still only wanted Sasuke to come back for her what about what Sasuke wants and his feelings !? So much Selfless feelings right there that is why she also wanted to kill him . Not to mention Kishimoto himself said before that Skura's love is Selfish and did nothing to portray it otherwise , Sakura never ever understand Sasuke his feelings or even tried to do that .  And you know actions speaks louder then words  Sakura in therms of Sasuke didn't do any selfless act .

 

And I fail to see how is Hinata smiling means she's selfless !?   . If anything it has been shown how time and a time again how Hinata is ignorant of Naruto's Dreams Feelings (mainly for Sakura )  not to mention ignorant of her Friends and family when it comes to Naruto Kun    Heck go an see The Last Recton kitten its all there in color  Not to mention she said it herself in her confession that she was Selfish   .  Hinata playing  Shield Meat doing Suicidal moves is not "working hard for love"  Sakura crying all the time bc of her ridiculous feelings  and doing nothing when it comes to Sasuke is not "working hard for love"  and Pursuing him   this is what we got for 690 chapters before the whole Retconing of the story's ending begin which is again 693 .  

 

What was written in the manga during 690 chapters matters  , Their actions matters  , Development matters  and NH/SS had none at all one was horrible abusive kitten and the other was lacking so much substance . Just bc it was stated in the end doesn't make that true when it wasn't present during the whole manga  that's changing the context of the whole story  its called Retconing  its downright butchering Literature itself and what Writing is all about  when you lose your consistency and chose do 180 in therms of writing and what was written . And NS had it all in therms of Development/Mutuality/Foreshadowing/Parallels/ Story Themes   NH/SS is basically the opposite of all of that  which is why they chose to give NH/SS  NS story elements and foreshadowing parts and butcher NS even more .

 

That writing right there is nothing but an pure utter disgusting kitten  and its sick and offensive to everything literature itself stands for sign.

OK completely random but after I remembered how in Japan blood types are considered important and in media the blood types are used to determine personalities and even pairings. (It's why you find bloodtypes mentioned in Charactor Bio's in Japanese Games) So decided to see what Naruto's charactors would reveal, (I haven't checked the personalities just the partner with certain blood types.

Sasuke & Karin: Type AB

Sakura: Type O

Hinata: Type A.

 

Type A: Hinata

 

Partner who is type B – Type A person envies type B’s happy-go-lucky personality. However, type A person worries about type B person’s personality.

 

Pretty much spot on there.

That actually makes sense, I specially agree with Type O, (sakura.

Type B makes sense, but Type O (Sakura) doesn't match up.

Again the relationship with B seems to be similar to her relationship with Naruto, but again her relationship with Sasuke doesn't match up at all.

 

Thought it was an interesting read, I can't help but wonder if Blood types were used to determine the personalities and their relationships with each other, the only one I can't see is AB with O, the others seem to match, and just as an extra Shikamaru is AB and Temari is O, and unlike Sasuke and Sakura, the blood type match makes sense...to me atleast.

Don't agree, if your going by love interest (I'm just assuming), Hinata and Sakura would be more hardworking as they both did more for the sake of their love interest, Naruto barely tried to get Sakura besides some date attempts and Kishi held him back from confessing due to him not keeping his promise

I didn't mind Edo Tensei but the execution was terrible, most of them were made into canon fodder, their fights mostly sucked, and some people didn't meet others (Jugo/Kimimaro, Suigestu/Mangetsu).

Agree. I find it amusing that the rivalry comment can be applied to the Sakura-Ino-Sasuke triangle perfectly. Do we ever actually see WHY Sakura fell for Sasuke beyond the fact that the cool girls did?

 

Kishi ruined the chance to get why Sakura's feelings were there by having Kakashi state "love needs no reason", because he easily could have given Sakura a reason or could have pulled one out of his ass like he did with Karin.

Sakura shows great care for Sasuke, in the FOD, LOW, and many other arcs. Hinata was willing to give her life up for Naruto. So this contradicts that they don't care for their love interests or did nothing for them (As they wouldn't be alive).

Sakura liked Sasuke and didn't know Ino did and Hinata just idolized Naruto's will to not give up.

Yeah killing someone to "save" them was pretty stupid of Sakura (One of the reasons I don't like her) but going by canon she did it because she didn't want to see him fall into darkness, she was willing to be hated by Naruto for that.
