And that's what disappoints the most. None of the three main characters showed any development.
Sasuke remained the same careless and uncompassionate guy he was in chapter 3. The source of all his pain was the loss of his family and loneliness but he leaves behind his daughter and wife and is roaming the world..?
Sakura remained the same fangirl she was in chapter 3. All her dreams of being as important as Naruto and Sasuke have vanished. She is apparently satisfied to be a housewife dusting book-shelves.
Naruto actually regressed. He got the worst treatment. He seems to have lost his smile, he seems to have lost his passion and energy, he seems to have lost his goofiness that made him adorable. The boy who suffered so much because he did not get the love of a father and a mother is allowing his son to suffer the same pain...?
Truly a terrible ending.
Sasuke suddenly becoming interested in Sakura, who he's walked all over like a doormat throughout the story when he is not trying to kill her, deserves a spot on the list as well. And not addressing how Konoha essentially massacred his family? Ugh. The other thing that bothered me was his face -- how did he turn into Madara?!
Sakura, housewife. It's literally the only image we have of her, should we just assume there's more to her life? Outside the occasion that Sasuke's home, that is.
Naruto, telling your son to ninja up isn't going to do anything to fix child neglect.
Amazingly, Hinata now knows how to complete a full sentence without "Naruto-kun"!
