If Kishi decides to confirm NS in epilogue, and given that The Last is transition movie there's a good chance that NH might get its resolution onscreen.

I agree that sakura need to realize who she love, but I disagree that sakura need to convice naruto.

I mean NS happen because naruto love sakura.
Sakura doesn't need to convice naruto.

That's why I'm not anxious about the movie featuring Hinata in an apparent relevant role.

Either Kishi could make good use of her and her clan's abilities, or it could use it to give NH proper closure, with a proper rejection, and Hinata accepting it and moving on. Or both.

 

But still it's still annoying to think it'll only happen 3 years in the future.

 

Unless Naruto ends up in a coma after his fight with Sasuke...

Naruto ignored Hinata's confession for 4 years.That is degrading her because it makes it look like he doesnt give a kitten and now that he realises Sakura still loves Sasuke he finally decided to give a kitten about her in 4 years

 

I agree that SS is abusive but its got something to remember it by 

 

What do we have with NH?

1.The Neji fight

2.The confession

3.The handhold

4.The Chunnin exams

 

If this couple is canon I wont be able to reread Naruto again not to mention this couple is so bland I would forget it was written the very next day I read it

He's not obligated to  response to her bc Hinata didn't ask for an answer  look at that confession again  he's not obligated and that doesn't make him an monster for crying out loud he didn't lead her to anything  . Also he has acknowledged her as a friend and a comrade  and that's more then what Sasuke has ever did so son't put him in the same boat .

Please realize that none abusive relationship  is worth something to remember  by  you are giving it justification which is disgusting  by itself   having moments doesn't mean the relationship has more substance when they consist mostly of insults and killing attempts that's insane  . Dafuq   you are basically telling me that an abuse relationship is more admirable then a basic comrade one or none existent romantic one  .

Well, since Kishi with his bad writing couldn't solve pairing side of the manga during 700 chapters, Id prefer to see in the epilogue adult Naruto and Sakura being a couple(you know, like 20+ years old), so that give us the message that both of them developed their feelings to the logical end during those years. You know it would be strange if we will see in the epilogue 17 years old NaruSaku couple. Looks like they still need a time, at least Sakura. And in the movie we will see one of their countless missions during which they come close to the two-sides love. 

 

Maximum NH will get in the movie - Naruto tells Hinata that he doesnt love her.

I'm guessing that before the epilogue Kishi might put some NS moment with Sakura realizing her feelings for Naruto. IDK if we'll get a confession 'cause it'll look totally awkward and rushed after 693. But a positive NS moment is a given. With NS as official couple in the epilogue the movie can further unfold the romantic sublpot and show NS's road to canon.

When I say 'convince Naruto', I mean she needs to make it clear to Naruto that she is over Sasuke and hint that she is open to the idea of dating Naruto. If she fails to do the first part, Naruto will never open up about his feelings and if she doesn't give a hint then Naruto will hesitate to confess.

 

Have you read LadyGT's 'After the war' doujinshi? Sakura gets over Sasuke, Naruto still has doubts but Sakura convinces him and then drops a teasing hint about them dating. Something similar to that will be beautiful and perfect.

 

 

 

I don't think naruto need to reject Hinata confession.

Of course, this could work too. But Naruto still does need to talk to her about the matter. Or else Hinata could be shown congratulating the happy couple... that would be a decent resolution too.

The more I hear about there being NS and NH in the movie, the more I actually like the idea of there being a love triangle XD lol

Think about it.......when Sasuke left the village and Naruto returned to the village after almost three years, since that time till currently now both Naruto and Sakura have a lot of interaction and development together. Now fast forward to "The Last" timeline, where from the looks of it Sasuke is still not back in the village, they must have Definetly had more time together to interact and develope with each other then we will never know!!! Safe to say that they are obviously gonna "very close" when the movie begins.

Ex: Sakura may be making lunches for Naruto and is enjoying it.

Now obviously Hinata will notice this and ,just for the fun of it, will start to get a little forceful in her approach with Naruto. And during the main mission of the movie we would see this as she tries to cut in when ever naruto is near Sakura!!! And it will all lead up to.........well I got a certain idea what comes next because it's all gotta be for fan service so be WARNED NS fans I may go NH all of sudden!!!! O_O Slap me please if I cross over to close to the dark side if y'all wanna know what I'm thinking XD lol

NH will be so bland and boring. I can't even imagine it when they will be in a relationship. Naruto's hyper personality doesn't match Hinata's at all. I want Hinata to focus on her clan rather than being stuck in a love triangle. That would totally sucks.

Now that someone mentioned it, I now recognize that Hinata is looking away from Naruto. If she is really waiting for him, wouldn't it be best to make her look at Naruto? I would definitely take that as a hint if that is the case.

I know it is annoying to see all those NH/SS comments but as for me, I'd rather wait for the trailer or movie to actually give my own point of view on the romance in the movie. Developments and real NS moments in the manga > Teasing in the last movie.

Hearing from a Hinata fan that they want her to ba a damsel in distress so that Naruto will save her is just nuts. I'll never watch the movie if Sakura is portrayed as a damsel in distress in the whole movie.

I think at this point many shippers just want to be right in the end, whatever the cost. Even if it leads to character assassination.

 

meanwhile NS can stand on its own, withouth any character made to look like crap in the process.
