I can't stomach the fact that the last Naruto movie is going to be all about our princess Hinata, a side character... all promotions, trailers, merchandise promote the hell out of Hinata.

 

I don't want to see Hinata ffs. I want to see Team 7. I want to see Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sai, Yamato and the other Konoha 11. 

 

I DON'T WANT TO SEE A FULL MOVIE WITH HINATA NARUTO-KUNING HER WAY THROUGHOUT 110 MINUTES.

i guess that it's just a his own opinion. Because Kishimoto didn't say anything about "late in the game" or whatever. Also because Kishimoto talked about "a time where he was hesitant to put either Sakura or Hinata as the endgame for Naruto". It wasn't late, it was just for him that a woman could have a change of heart would be horrible.

No need to find poor excuses. Hints are still there and they won't escape, unless Kishimoto won't erase them in future editions, like the "perfect edition" (kanzenban).

I'm just pointing out that Sakura not ending up with Naruto had nothing to do with Hinata, but with her not seeming fickle. See, there's a common thing in manga/anime, it's basically loyalty+friendship is literally magic. For Sakura to give up on Sasuke, when she spent 693 chapters being seemingly in love with him, that wouldn't be seen as a good thing. When it comes to the genre, that is.  I don't understand why people are upset it's not realistic. This is a story about magical ninjas, where a man sexually harassing women is seen as charming and cute, where it's totally acceptable to train children how to murder people. Sexism has always existed in Naruto, too. I was kind of shocked people only realized it now? lol

 

I'll be honest, Kishimoto's statement doesn't surprise me. Manga/anime is not a great place to look for positive Western interpretations of women. Sasusaku is also a pretty popular trope there, actually. You'll find a lot of Shoujo stories where a cold/heartless person ends up warming up to the main lead, despite trying to assault/murder her.

Could you please stop trying to justify Kishimoto's kitten at every turn? This is getting really tired.

It's official...NH and SS is wrong. They got together for the wrong reasons and the only way it can work is by forcing it for those wrong reasons. This explain why Kshimoto depicts Naruto so miserable. I still have wonder whether he sabatoged it on purpose for the reasons of "They made me do it."

I am completely debating over this in my head. Is he truly a bad writer or did he make it bad writing to show how ridiculous it really was SO they could lose money? He didn't like how they mistrated his stories so he got back at them through this. I don't know...I just don't know.

I am almost like expecting him to give a wink everytime he gives an answers that is obviously bull. Like "read between the lines."

l just realized he said Sakura would be a horrible woman for switching "all of sudden/after all this time" while Naruto switched TWO YEARS AFTER THE ACTUAL ENDING OF THE STORY.
