yes,you are right ....and i also know we will win in the end what ever what happen and i read here some posts which made me very very sure we will win in the end ...i was a little doubt in this before i jion here(because i read some anti-NS arguments) but after my jion here and knew some facts and i thinking again ,this doubt is gone

The story is pointing to her having feelings for naruto romantically, with lingering feelings for sasuke that have been changed to more mature feelings involving her bond with Sasuke as part of team 7. My opinions remained pretty consistent with some room to grow as the story presents more of itself. Heck awhile back I would never have thought Hinata would confess to naruto in the way she did, but I was surprised.

the one thing that I did maintain was that there was a possibility brought on by the bench scene as to why Sakura held on as long as she did. A possibility reinforced a little by Kushinas revelation of minatos complimenting her hair.

The bench scene I think that was the reason why Sakura kept holding on to those lingering and fake feelings for Sasuke. She couldn't help it the boy she has a big crush and admires has actually complimented her on the part of her body she hates the most, and most importantly he said it just like she has thought about it how she wanted it to be said. Naruto knew her that well this is why I believed Sakura has come to cherished that memory from the bench scene and I still believe she still remembers it even if it has been a long time since then (4 years to be exact).

But now after seeing the real Sasuke she has come to terms with it that the memory doesn't mattered to her anymore, she now knows that the Sasuke who complimented her forehead is gone (the truth is he never existed because it was Naruto in the first place). I would wondered what will be for Sakura if Naruto never transformed into Sasuke and he gave her the compliment on her forehead, obviously her subconsious feelings for Naruto would have been unleash sooner than expected. Which I believe her feelings for him were released when he made her the POTL.

^Well at start Sakura always ignored Naruto and hated him for coming in between her and Sasuke. So I would think if Naruto would have said it she wouldn't have listened anyways. That is probably why he Henged into Sasuke to see what she really thought of him since he never could really get an honest answer out of her in the 1st few chapters. That and to confirm his feelings for her.

I am not a Sakura basher and I know after the bench scene she sees Naruto in a different light due to what Sasuke said to her. I was just talking about the 1st few chapters that you name thats why i said that Naruto had to change into Sasuke to see how Sakura really thought of him... Since in the 1st chapters she wouldn't give him any straight answer.

And with at the start i actually meant at the beginning of the manga not the entire part 1. Its my fault for not writing it correctly and some poor choice of my words >_< I should have said abit annoyed instead of hated. I am sorry for that.

I agreed ciardha you can see this kind of behavior from Sakura bashers in fan fiction. I have read a lot of good stories and I didn't like most of them because the only flaw is that they bash Sakura. During part 1 they turned her into a cold hearted b**** and after part 1 they make her worst, when that is wrong. Sakura started changing after ch 3 and onward it was at the chunin exams when she made her resolve to grow stronger and protect both Naruto and Sasuke because they are precious to her. The important thing is that she was willing to risk it all for Naruto too, she used to dislike and thought he was annoying because she believed he was getting in her way to get Sasuke. Now she was willing to put her life on the line to protect him too (to put him in the same level of caring as Sasuke).

A lot of people can't see Sakura's change her maturity and how she transformed into a better person, namely those bashers who takes a joy of turniing her character upside down with their stories.

Sakura finding out it was Naruto not Sasuke at tbe bench scene will be the final push she'll need to solidify her feelings. it'll bring everything into clarity, and finally make the whole relationship come full circle.

She's "grown into" it as well. It's rather likely she's still self-conscious about it, but no stranger would even notice it anymore. Amongst the people that know her, it's likely only Ino and Naruto that even are conscious of it anymore. And to Ino it's probably just something she rolls her eyes about- "She's still bothered by that? No one else even sees it nowadays!" Naruto notices it because he did as boy, and liked it, he still likes it now.
