Well turns out I was Half Right.

Anyway, the Reports are that the Season will start on Wed. when the Players vote Sunday/Monday. Then Free Agency begins.

However in this time we have casualties, so let us look back on who we have lost.

Well we're already confirmed to have signed Nnamdi Asomugha, Jason Babin, Albert Haynesworth, Plaxico Burress, and traded for both Patrick Peterson and Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie. So yeah, join the circus Brett.

In all seriousness, I doubt it, Eksin just has a big mouth, but I won't completely rule it out. I'd never had though that they'd sign Vick. So we'll see, but for right now I won't even offer an opinion on the idea of him being an Eagle. Now that the lockout is ending people just needed a Favre rumor to make everything normal again.

I think they ought to just have 3 maybe even 2 pre-season games, so teams can prepare and have proper training camps and introduce their rookies.

Lets all say what moves we think will happen first for our respective teams.

1.Kolb traded to Arizona. What for, I haven't the slightest.
2.Plaxico Burress is heavily pursued and maybe even signed.
3.The Eagles don't enter the Asomugha bidding war and instead sign Ike Taylor or trade for Rodgers-Cromartie to play in their more zone coverage enabled defense.

This is an H&E SportsBioDomeCenterBattleTradeFinalDeathCountStarSuperStation Update:

Good Evening day 1 of the NFL league year and already we have some news to report.

The Seattle Seahawks will have a new Quarterback at the start of the 2011 Season. Reports today from the Seattle Times that Matt Hasselbeck has finished his career as a Seahawk by rejecting and no longer seeking their current offer. Hasselbeck has recieved offers from the Titans, Vikings and 49ers according to Jason La Canfora

The Kevin Kolb Bidding War has begun and expect the QB's future to be settled in 72 hours. However one place he will not be is Seattle, the Hawks are no longer in the Bidding war and are now after Tavares Jackson, and/or Matt Leinart, Jackson has been signed by the Seahawks, but Leinart also will sign with the team and former coach Pete Caroll. They have 5 QBs on staff.

In the lead for Kolb is still the Arizona Cardinals.

Donovan McNabb will be a Minnesota Viking. Jay Glazer at foxsports reports that the Redskins traded the veteran QB to the Vikings for up to two 6 round picks.

Sydney Rice is in a middle of a bidding war between Minnesota and Seattle, but other teams are waiting including the Bears and the Rams.

Alex Smith and the 49ers have agreed to terms.

Other free agents signed Tuesday: http://nfltraderumor...t-transactions/

The Jets have reached out to Nnamdi Asomugha.

Mike Brown has called Carson Palmer's Bluff. And Carson Palmer has retired from football*, see you in 2012.

Now over the Salary cap the Dallas Cowboys have cut Marion Barber, Roy Williams, Kris Brown and Leonard Davis.

Takeo Spikes has signed with the Chargers.

The Giants are interested in bringing back Plaxico Burress.

The Eagles according to sources are letting all their free agents go.

They really ought to trade Carson. Get something for him, but I understand they want to stand firm. Oh well.

Mcnabb to the Vikings FINALLY happens. He is still a favorite of mines and I hope he somewhat succeeds up there with a running game and better receiving targets than he had for most of his time here and in Washington. Well, if they can keep rice anyway. Its going to be tough in that division with the champs, da bears, and the lions with their potential.

Yeah, everybody is going to walk and nobody is getting resigned. Even though we are under the cap all the time, they wanted to take it further. Im cool with it, only not sure about Mikell and Rocca being let go because now we have Nate Allen as a sophomore as a Free Safety and Jarrett looking to to start at strong safety as a rookie. And are special teams kickers are rookies too. And so far they have yet to tip their hand as who they will sign, because they are holding out on Arizona for a first and DRC. Its either Kolb or Kylie Orton Zona...

But the Eagles have been getting younger the last two seasons and are convinced that they can win now with almost the entirety of the team made up of their draft picks the last 3-4 years. Which in principal is good, you build through the draft, but you are also supposed to fill holes with proven free agents.

'Ello 'Ello 'Ello. Time for Wed. NFL Craziness update.

Matt Hasselbeck is now with the Titans for a multiyear deal

The trade for Donovan McNabb to the Vikings has been finalized.

The Sidney Rice bidding war is over as the veteran WR is going to Seattle for 5 years $44 million. The person not going to Seattle, Matt Leinart, who has optioned to stay put in Texas.

Several notable players are holding out for better deals on their contracts Titans RB Chris Johnson, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson, and 49er RB Frank Gore are in final years or looking for more money in their contracts.

With the new Rookie Salary Cap in Place the Carolina Panthers have been spreading the wealth. They've signed former Cheif DT Ron Edwards, Resign RB DeAngelo Williams.

The Redskins are signing a Recieving corp out the wahoose. Jabar Gaffney, Donte' Stallworth, Anthony Armstrong and Santana Moss have all signed with Washington.

The Ravens have signed rookie WR Torrey Smith who was drafted in the second round. The Eagles have signed eight, but not first rounder Danny Watkins.

The Trade talks for Kolb to Arizona is just plain innevitable now. Kyle Orton seems to be getting shipped off to Miami by the Broncos. A journeyman Quarterback, who'd thunk it.

Late News from Jay Glazer, Saints are sending Reggie Bush to Miami pending agreement.

H&E SBDCBTFDCSrS breaking news. Its done. Kolb for DRC and their 2nd rounder. I like it, we got a very good, young corner to compliment Asante. Best of luck to Kevin.

And we signed Babin. He was a pro bowler and had 12 sacks last season under Washburn's tutelage so I have high expectations

I definitely like the deal, DRC is a talented young Corner who can get better. They needed a starter and they got one. It'll be interesting to see how Kolb's career goes, I think he can be a very good QB but he needs to be more consistent and handle the pressure better.

This is an H&E SportsBioDomeCenterBattleTradeFinalDeathCountStarSuperStation Update: (Yes, I realize I'm late to the party)

Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco are now part of the New England Patriots, who knew?

Greg Olsen has been traded by the Bears to Carolina, Chicago, I may not be friendly, but don't give Martz power. Don't do it! Carolina though, has a couple of good tight ends to help Cam Newton now.

Darren Sproles has signed with the Saints after Bush lands in Miami. He was sought after by the Rams to be a backup to Jackson.

Bush on the other hand, recently traded for Jonathan Amaya, has taken his talents to south beach, thus becoming the final part of the big three with Lebron and Wade.

Jonathann Joseph is the new cornerback for the Texans.

Nnamdi Asomugha is now in a good position, his price is going up and up. Jets, Eagles, 49ers, Raiders, Cowboys? Where he stops no one knows!

Eagles, Cardinals...nothing happened their today, nope nothin' at all. *sarcasm*

Von Miller, Tyron Smith, Blaine Gabbert, AJ Green, Julio Jones and Colin Kappernick have signed with their respective teams.

Titans Cut Vince Young, this just in...I'm told the sky is blue. What happened next: Eagles signed him to be back up QB.

49ers cut CB Nate Clements

Brandon Stokely backs out of deal with Redskins, too many recievers.

Jon Beason of Carolina has been resigned.

Michael Crabtree out 4-6 weeks with injury.

11 Ravens suffer minor injuries in first day at camp.

Joey Porter cut from Cardinals.

H&E SportsBioDomeCenterBattleTradeFinalDeathCountStarSuperStation Update:

Randy Moss has retired. However it seems it wasn't because Moss thought he was done, it seems the teams aren't as interested as he hoped. Someone right comes a'knockin I think he'll be back.

While The Eagles Continued to Build their "Dream Team" the rivals in the NFC East seem to be in the other direction. The Eagles added DL Cullen Jenkins to team up with Jason Babin

The Washington Redskins have been buying up free agent recievers for Josh Beck.

The Dallas Cowboys have been as quiet as the Yankees have been at the trade deadline and have not made big moves, however defensive coordinator Rob Ryan vows to "Beat the Ass" the "All Hype Team", huh no relation to his brother there at all.

The New York Giants may have resign Ahmad Bradshaw they have an issue with Osi Umenyiora the Pro-Bowl Defensive End wants a new contract and the player's agent has been notified by team officials to be able to try and get a trade worked out. Though the Giants are pushing High, a first round pick.

Plaxico Burress has returned to football in New York, as a Jet. Meanwhile ex-number 17 Jet Braylon Edwards has interest from the Cardinals

Frank Gore has apparently ended his holdout with the 49ers as Nate Clements signs with the Bengals

Lofa Tatupu's days in Seattle appear to be over. The LB has refused to take a pay cut and has drawn interest from the Raiders as the Raider's Tight End Miller looks to sign with the Hawk's

Tim Hightower has been trade from Arizona to Washington and the Cardinals want to lock up Fitzgerald before the end of this week, Todd Heap also signs with Cardinals

The Rams have been silent but on the move, signing DL and OL help along with Mike Sims-Walker.

Cromartie has returned to the Jets with a Message, "Asomugha isn't better than me".....in bed.

Colts bring back Joseph Addai

Jason Taylor has resigned with the Dolphins

Packers keep James Jones

Bengals Keep Cedric Benson

Really, you took him from Texas (though I can't blame Daniels for not wanting to spend 7 years and 140+ to keep him) I'm not sure the Yankees were very high on his list despite the money. I never heard him or his wife say anything kind about them or New York.

To be fair, Dallas had a bunch of cap issues and were never going to sign Asomugha anyway. They've been cutting right and left.

And Insurrection...yeah, if Philly doesn't make the playoffs lots of people should be fired, but there is an injustice in them getting to do that and my 2-14 Panthers getting the toughest schedule in the league. They should be better with Fox and his unimaginative offense gone, but expectations are still low.

Hey I did too, but my team's in the West, not the South. And we have to face Philly Week 1.....Giants Week 2....Baltimore Week 3....Green Bay Week 6....Dallas Week 7....Saints Week 8...Steelers Week 16. Rest of the West has a similar schedule but Saints and Packers!?! Seattle goes to Atlanta and Chicago later, I guess that's what we get for sucking less huh Jwolf0. I know McDanniel's and Spagnolo's schemes are good, but I hope they're that good.

Week 1
Week 3
Week 7
Week 10

Are winnable for you, but other then that damn Nate. That sucks....Good Luck Buddy!

But it's not like the NFL set up the schedule in favor of the Eagles. We play the west this season, then the south next season. then the north etc etc
And no games are guaranteed wins, that's why they've gotta bust their asses in training camp. Don't wanna flop like Dallas did last year happy.gif

Actually, I don't care. I have no problem with the Eagles (I root for them everytime they play the Dallas Cowboys), it's just with the personal they have they, barring catastrophic injuries, should make the playoffs.

Just beat the Cowboys and I'll be happy.

Oh, I know it's on rotation and I also know the primary reason the Panthers schedule is so bad is because they are in the NFC South (6 auto games against 10 win teams). It just sucks they draw the NFC North and AFC South when most of those teams are good or improving. Except for the Bengals. If we improve at all it will be interesting....cause the division may just end up beating the crap out of itself.

Usually, one of the gifts for losing is an easier schedule, but not for the Panthers.

Besides, we drew the NFC West last year and yeah....you saw how well that went.
