Argh, death to Mary Sues and Gary Stus! They are just so horrible.

UN, the gist of the sidenotes on Sakura's profile was that her love is one-sided. Kuro's fluent in Japanese as well since she IS Japanese (I think?). Inane have been pretty inaccurate at times, sometimes making words TOO strong or simple - we saw what they did with 181 and 236, for example.

Still, it does seem to hint that Sasuke does not return her feelings anyway?

Kishimoto did say that Sakura is realistic for a 13-year-old girl in that she may have crushes on boys because they look cute and do cool things. Namely Sasuke. Those were the only reasons she really liked him as well (as far as we have seen).

Wow, it's so strange tonight. No fireworks! At least it means the cats can wander freely outside without getting scared by explosions. Also means peace and quiet for my web surfing and reading.

Hmm, well wouldnt one sided love be concidered a selfish love? Then again I think it really depends on alot and I think Sasuke made it clear that him and Sakura couldnt ever really get truely along. Just to diffrent in ways they wouldnt like. Sakura probably would want to do 10000 things that Sasuke would never do. She probably would like to say alot that she wont say cause she doesnt want Sasuke to think badly of her.

Oh, I agree with you there UN.

Even that special manga chapter showed how Sakura feels constrained by her crush on Sasuke. She was thinking it would be so fun and cool to go with Naruto and try to see Kakashi's face, but Sasuke said it sounded stupid and that made her feel quite put down.

She only ever stops acting up if the situation is really serious (like when she told Sasuke to stop being a coward against Oro) or if Sasuke isn't around. Just like you have detailed in the notes.

Hehe, it's going to be a LONG essay for you. If you ever need any diagrams or pretty illustrations, just call!

You know what I think people would say at that part in your essay (Chapter 101, I think)? They would say that even if Sakura was all sweaty and worried that Naruto would lose to Neji, everyone else was.

But I know what I can give them back. In Chapter 103, when Naruto stands up from being hit by 64 Hands of Hakke, Sakura is the only one who is shown sweating and worried. Though I think others have the same reaction, Kishi wanted to give emphasis to Sakura's worry, that's why she was the only one shown.

Oh, and I find it hard to draw girls too.

On the note of the Naruto v Neji fight, I would emphasise the celebration Sakura did when Naruto won. She was so happy he won, just like against Kiba. Then we have that interesting thought she has.

(paraphrasing) "When I see you fight, I feel like I can be stronger... that's an incredible feeling..."

Then she sighs (wistfully or sadly?) and Ino asks Sakura what's wrong. Sakura jumps, and nervously tells her friend nothing is wrong. Hiding her feelings again!

I got the errands done and got myself a couple of treats at the game shop.

Viewtiful Joe and Second Sight on Preowned. Big savings. There was Evil Genius as well in the PC section, but I may save that for my next visit. Maybe if I have plenty of cash left after Xmas shopping.

I'm just stocking up on NaruSaku goodness before wading into the Pairings Debate thread. I'm not looking forward to it... I will very likely be snapping at the zealots for being so desperate and to stop making themselves look so silly trying to use outdated handbooks, third party articles and tenuous links to other series. They're just not doing themselves any favours, and I think I will say that unless they start getting serious and either a) accept SasuSaku is dead with NaruHina being unlikely or B) go back to trying to use the manga as evidence.

Really, I think it's best to just let them make themselves look stupid. It just makes us look the most reasonable pairing by far. After I post, I won't waste any more time there unless anyone brings up a nice point.

Debates???? NarutoxSakura vs NarutoxHinata debates. I would use the power of my notes and the power of knowing all the Hinata scences with Naruto against them. Actually all the Naruto x Hinata scenes are weak cause they are very easy to counter.

Use my Foot notes and you can own those debates. If i were to show you my NarutoxHinata notes, which are showing why they can never be a good couple, you can see that when things deal with Hinata, it isnt to big to Naruto, but when you hit something personal with Naruto against anyone, Naruto will fight for that person but when he fights, it is more for himself then that person. That Neji fight, Naruto fought more for himself then for Hinata. It was all about how Neji thought and his wrong way of believing fate and destiny that pissed Naruto off, it was not the fact that he beat hinata but what Neji said that made him want to fight. BRB with more, in school now.

Well, we just had the SasuSakus back again. I've now posted to say that I'm only interested in using the MANGA itself as evidence, and that any arguments/points that have no grounding in it are just plainly irrelevant/guesswork.

Then I carefully detailed how the relationships had grown over the manga and who has shown feelings for whom. None of my points could be argued against because I was showing what was obvious in the manga.

I even said that if they wanted to flog any dead horses (181, Sasuke having "feelings" etc.), they were welcome - I just wouldn't be interested in replying.

I'm thinking I'll just quit that thread unless someone like Occassionalutopia comes in again (she's neutral but has shown some very nice views on the manga and agrees with NaruSaku). I just can't be bothered to waste my time with any fanboys/fangirls who scrape the barrel trying to support their pairing.
